- I had a cruddy Black Oak log, so I milled some stickers and blocks to air-dry lumber with.

Something a little different than my usual style, but I wanted to play with my new Grizzly G0901 bandsaw mill and I don't think much explanation was needed.

I have watched this video numerous times and it is so therapeutic. Nothing new to learn, just perfect simplicity.
Loved the little nod to Matt Cremona w/ the bucket water slosh... Can't wait to see what you make from these!
As written in countless yearbooks over the years... “never change”! I truly enjoy your style of content, and the content itself. Thank you.
I don't know about anybody else but I would find doing this very relaxing and therapeutic!.
Beautiful! Your storytelling just gets better and better.
What was the soundtrack? It was a great choice.
Always a pleasure to find a Will Walker video in my que.
Looks like so much fun making your own lumber from a log in your yard!
Very peaceful video. Thanks we all needed that.
That sawmill is freaking awesome.
That was really satisfying
Awesome stuff Will! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks you.
Great video, I really enjoyed how it was put together! As far as the cruddy black oak, I thought it looked beautiful on the inside but I guess anything other than lodgepole pine catches my eye since that is really all that I can get for my sawmill in Colorado.
I was happily surprised to see the heart was still good and there weren't many punky spots. Out here in VA we've got hardwoods for days. I'm surrounded by Black Oak.
I am very jealous of your mill. Maybe in a year or two I can snag one...don't see a lot of used mills around my area sadly.
Looks more like a table beside those stickers
Beautiful shots WW. How long will you let your stickers dry before using them?
What a fabulous toy!
I really like how the music complements the video. Where did you get the soundtrack? I need something as soothing as that in these times.

I get all of my tracks from Artlist
How long will you dry this?
I hope you don’t mind me answering, but it’s about one year of drying time per 1” thickness. This does depend on where he lives, due to humidity, but it’s a good guide. So my guess is between 1-2 years (he seems to have 1” and 2” thick boards).
Please share the music!

Wm. Walker Co. for the record, that just sends me to an sign up page that says I have to pay $17/mo for commercial use music. I’m guessing that must be where you got it, which is great, but if you have any links to a UA-cam video of it - that’s more what I’m looking for.
