I play with this ball I'm an intramural pf for my school we use Wilson evolutions for intramural matches one of my fav balls. I personally have the neon blue of the street phantom for a rubber ball it goes above and beyond it's got great grip. Even when wet. It lets me still have my soft touch in the post. It lets hit my midrange jumpers and post fades. The grip can be rly sticky when it gets rly hot. But it's actually for a rubber outdoor ball goes above and beyond worth the extra 5 bucks then buying a cheap 15 dollar NBA street ball that just sucks.
I think I've played with this ball. A random guy I played pickup with had it at the park. It's better than standard, cheap rubber basketballs so it may be a good choice for outdoor. Where I'm from (Italy) we use old Molten balls (GM7X, GF7X) for outdoor play. Nike Dominate sometimes
Yeah here in the US, you won’t see people play with Molten outdoor. Mostly Spalding and Wilson and Nike. For indoor basketball I would say 80% of the time you will see people use Wilson Evolution but that because they probably don’t know other brand basketballs that has similar feel to the Evolution. Maybe I should do a video on that topic so people know that there are other balls beside the Evolution.
wilson or molten 3x3 official game ball, if you don't have problem with the size being a little small. nike/jordan hyper grip but the price is pretty expensive. spalding street phantom is the cheapest but it is very bouncy. spalding tf-250 is pretty cheap too and i feel like it has better quality than the phantom.
Hey dude, been enjoying your review videos on youtube. Have you gotten your hands on the new Wilson NBA Authentic Series Indoor Game Ball yet? Keen to hear your thoughts on it!
Thanks for the love. I only bought the new NBA game ball. But soon I will get the authentic series. I want to get the new Nike elite championship 2.0 first because the old one is one of my favorite balls. So I’m curious to see what kind of improvements Nike made with that ball.
Just get well known basketball brands that specializes in making basketball. I never heard of hongke before and based of a quick google search it seems like a clone basketball from other brands. There are some many other reliable brands out there. What kind of basketball are you trying to get? Indoor or outdoor used? How much are you willing to spend on it? I can recommend you other well known brand if u get those information.
@@EverythingBasketballs Yeah, i went for BT500X. Luckily i found a Street Phantom in a shop. It was an old version though, older than the one you reviewed and it was far from what i expected, also more expensive than BT500X, so i bought Tarmak. There were other balls as well, TF1000, DRV Pro etc. but despite its price BT500X had the best grip. As if there's a glue on the surface, just as i wanted. I hope its durability is also good.
I don’t know which one is the best but I do like Nike hyper grip and Wilson 3x3. I have limited outdoor balls so I can’t really give u a good answer yet. I’m still in process of testing all the outdoor balls I got.
I have this ball it is a tank. Way too heavy and bulky for any basketball. I like Nike Dominate, I also have a Marble Series Spalding they are okay. I like them both better than the Street Phantom though.
My initial thought it that it’s very bouncy. The shot has to be accurate or else it just gonna bounce off the rim. I can’t imagine play with double rims. Let the air off little did help.

You recommend this ball,
to play on a polished urban court?
With this ball you can play on whatever court you want. The ball is pretty much made from soft rubber material.
When will be the review of nike baller orange?
We will see whenever I get free time I guess.
I wonder if this or Tarmak BT500X Grip has better grip and general performance.
BT500x is better. go for it.
