Mine are breeding a little too much.
I put a half Avocado up against the glass under the dirt so I could see into the open middle and watched it become a massive network of…something. And now home base for the isos
Came to see the isopods living their best life, stayed for the awesome soundtrack put to it! And what a thriving Magic Potion colony you have going there!

You have an abundant mesofauna population! How did you do it? is it mostly springtails, or other little things?
Hi, I don't know how it happens, it was the same in my smaller tank! I have Collembola Springtails and also iridescent springtails (that always just magically appear), I may still have some globular in there as well... On top of that I do have some predatory mites that hunt the Springtails and hitch a ride on my pods from time to time - I did try and eliminate that problem by freezing the soil substrate for 2 weeks before putting it in, but it didn't work.
could do without the Ai thumbnails (theyre kinda creepy) but i love these not-bugs
I did a test with a real picture as a thumbnail (grasshopper one) a massive dive in views and reach... So I'm sticking with these, sorry.
The isopods are really cute and entertaining, but I can't ignore the AI generated image in the thumbnail. That really hurts human artists, not cool.

@@MonitorLizardGaming ah so it was never about jobs, you just blindly declare ai users as bad people. if a company wants ai art, they still pay someone for that, thats still jobs. if an artist doesnt get hired for it because they refuse to use a new tool, thats a skill issue. but you dont actually care about a practical answer, you just wanna hate on ai art
