Texas State Railroad

On April 14, 2024 we made our yearly visits to the Texas State Railroad in Palestine and Rusk, Texas but this time our visit had a little surprise. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tremont & Gulf no. 30's time at the railroad they decided to dress up no. 30 back into Texas State Railroad 400 for the first time since 2004. Usually in our videos we try to take everyone back in time to the steam era day but in this video we take everyone back in the 90s when Tremont & Gulf 30 was known as Texas State Railroad 400. A big thank you to the Texas State Railroad for giving us a fantastic looking throwback for the passengers and railfans.

The Texas State Railroad has got to be one of the most underrated tourist railroads on the country. Has some fantastic motive power, display pieces, and secenery. Fantastic video!

It was an amazing experience seeing 30 in its 400 appearance for the first time. Plus it was great seeing it while out there with ya! Good work as always Ty! Definitely love the camera work you tried out as well man!
