i'm only 16 living in the u.s.a but one day i plan to visit Australia and try to meet geoff lawton. i've been watching your videos and learning a lot and putting it towards my future, so thank you. Keep doing what you do best!
Its always been in my bucket list to go there but haven't yet. I really hope you make it to Australia. So much to see and learn there. Best of luck to you on our dreams!
I also use the bathtub, however when I use cow manure, I normally put it in on its own and full it up with water. Let it soak for about 5 days and then drain that water and use in the garden. After the 5 days, I add all the other stuff except the worms and once again fill it right to the top with water. Leave for a day or two and once again use in the garden. Only after the total 7 day do I add my worms. Everything is now soaking with water and they get thru all of the food faster even stuff like the cardboard.
Hello, hello, I stumbled across your page this morning. Now I’m not one to normally leave a comment but something about this channel has left me in awe. Ps thanks for the tip on the onions, my papa bear and I have started to use it in our very own Wormville! Legend
Hello your vemiculture video started a fire with me and starting a worm farm, and after watching it I got completely hooked on your UA-cam series, I started building a few of my own. I wanted to thank you personally sir it has completely changed my life for the better . 🙏🙏🙏
Well you could say that I am unrealistically aiming for perfection (that’s what idealistic means), which may be true, but I see it more like giving it the best shot from that which I have learnt and see what happens. This was the first time I made a wormfarm properly. The population has increased exponentially, and today Wormville is still thriving. I posted a little vid on FB the other week
If only people would try there hand at planting a food garden. If you new at it there is so much good information like yours to start them off.Dont just entertain yourself with the videos do it you will never regret it.And your family will always have food on the table.Thankyou for the inspiration. Love from South Africa.
This is by far the most simplistic, and wonderful worm farming video I've come across. Now to find a bathtub. Shucks, after Ian I saw a couple, but had no one to help me pick them up. Fortunately where there is a will, there is a way! Jesus is Lord!
For a homeschooling project we made them out of totes. My children enjoyed making and feeding the worms. My family is so grateful to have recently discovered your wonderful stories. ❤️ From the Messick tribe
Are you talking about totes as in 'plastic storage totes' or tote 'bags' like you would put groceries in? I'm looking for a solution using plastic storage totes, ones that stack even *without* the lids on.
I am at a loss for words! I've been looking for someone like you, all my life. I am incredibly inspired by your video. Thank you for sharing your gifts! I believe you are making a difference ❤️
god please make a worm video number 2. i loved this one so much. just overflowing with great information and you deliver it in a warm and down-to-earth way. and like others have mentioned too, the filming and video editing is beautiful. thanks so much for sharing.
Your garden is amazing, your photography is astounding. The combination is eye-candy that's good for the soul. Your spirit shows through. Thank you so much. I thoroughly enjoy!💙
It's so great to see your progress. I'm again jealous and inspired by you and your creativity. Thank you for helping lead the way and show us things which have true value. If only one out of ten, or even 100 people did what you are doing with your land and understand the sacred life mentality in a remotely similar way as yourself, the world would would be drastically improved. Cheers to you and your ongoing participation with our beautiful planet.
Love the Creator in you! My Grandfather and Father had worm farms and used the Honesty System too. Now I'm starting a flower and market garden, as well as a permaculture methods and a food forest! I've started collecting plants for 2 years now, flowers and vegetables will be 1st! But never watched or ask about how to build beds. Now I must thank you, I was going to use a bathtub but I may just it under trees until I put in a home for them
Mindblowing Ideas for the Garden, from Basic things you have....We Indians come from a Agriculture Land as the Main Source for the Economy and i Love your way of Farming.
This video of yours gave me the last push to initiate my wormbin that has been in my mind for the last few days now. Was still thinking of the complicated things that's why it got delayed further and further, but seeing your bin being a tub that gave me the push to just take it easy and followed your method. So I prepared a small bucket with alternate layers of greens and browns topped with cucumber, covered in paper and placed it under a shade. The worms looked more relaxed and at ease than being under black plastic seedling bag that was surrounded by free-range chickens. Thank you ❤️
Great information , using dryed citrus as fire lighters., biochar and how a little bit will spread in a tennis court. So many tips. Sweet spot 37' for tiger worms. You are a great teacher. 💥💪💥💪💥
I’ve modelled my worm farms on geoffs design but I let the rain in my worms go crazy for it, Marty’s garden is a great channel for worms 🪱 he is near port Macquarie, love the way you’re always earthing 🌈🙏😎
Thank you Weedy, you are a legend, I grew up as a shepherd - my parents farmed fresh veg, livestock and a home only dairy. So yes I learnt a lot... your journey is so beautiful - I am inspired to go back to farming - be it a 2x4 worm farm with a few sheep etc,,, start and let it grow as the universe sees fit - again thank you for sharing your journey

Thanks Weedy for yet another wonderful video. I really appreciate that you show the mistakes along the way and how to rectify them so that we can all learn along with you.

Kia ora Mr Weedy, thank you for your content. I am a long time Gardener. Your camera work and editing is cleaver and beautiful. I have been chipping away on a shady seaside section for a few years. I take insperation from your work and delight in every new video.
I use to live in a cold/snowy climate & had a vermicompost worm bin indoors from veggie waste & a compost 2 bay system outdoors from my garden/veggies/yard waste that sat in mostly shade & I never covered the outdoor compost bays. In summer, I would water The pile to keep cool. Summers were dry & a bit hot @ times. The worm pee alone made my plants/veggies/trees so healthy!! Cardboard & watermelon/rinds would be devoured by the worms really quickly, it was hilarious. 😄 In winter I used cheap & big onions & set them out in our living space (living room/lounge) because onions are a natural air purifier. It helps when the home is closed up for months on end. Your tip to dry it out & add it to the worm bin is excellent. One of our neighbor's saw our outdoor compost & gave us his fall leaves & saw firsthand how all his leaves broke down along with the rest of our materials into a beautiful rich black earth soil. Awesome video! Enjoy the content.

Hopefully we'll get to see more of your worm farming adventures in the future! Cheers from New Jersey, USA

I like that you show some of the challenges, as many worm videos are more advertisement than edutainment.
