Ay this is the dude that sits next to you in almost every video
You two blend perfectly, like you were twins born from different mothers.
YOURE SO GODLIKE
HOW
I LITERALLY WANNA SWITCH TO EUPHONIUM BECAUSE OF YOU YOURE GOATED ILOVE YOU
polar 33 do it 🥺 you won’t regret it
Pls do. I play. Baritone horn but I’m probably switching to euphonium next
we have 1 baritone and 0 euphoniums btw
do it, please, there are so few of us
EDIT: just thought i'd clarify that i play baritone usually but have played euphonium too since they're really similar and play about the same
When the second chair has the better instrument
We All Mine And Game umm. Not the way they PLAY, but their instrument like quality.
im playing this on my trombone, its confusing
Substitoad it’s pretty easy tho it seems just gotta get used to the sharps cause sharps are the worse
Spirit Last not that, getting the legato runs to sound better. I lightly articulate them but I miss a few notes sometimes
Substitoad ah ok
Watching you makes me wish I was playing the Euphonium, but I am still glad I am actually playing the Tuba because we all know Tuba is the best.
Matonizz, your English has gotten *SO* good compared to your earliest videos. Rocking it man 💪
Thanks a lot friend :) Like anything, the more you do it, the better you get at it :)
Being a 7th grade baritone player this was amazing. Just earned a subscriber!
Hi friends, thanks SO MUCH for the support you've showed to the channel in 2019!!! Appreciate it from the bottom of my heart! Hope you enjoy this video. Let me know what you think and of course please do me a favor by sharing this video with your friends, giving it a like and of course subscribing. Happy New Year!!! Matonizz
Do you mind if a friend and I play one of the theses arrangements in a high school ensemble competition?
Sure, one is already available on my patreon page and the other will be available there soon as well friend :) Best, M
Do you play in the river city brass band
@@solomonweigand5025 Yes I do :)
Matonizz cool my band directors play in river city brass
this is lovely even as a french horn player :)
Amazing Euphonium duet
Love from France
I love your content bro ily no homo tho.
Very cool Euphonium duets!
I love how you play Euphonio
Easily one of the best euph players on the planet
Thank you for posting all this stuff, I love low brass, and I just love listening
Perfect at everything
Amazing. I could listen to this non-stop, even in the summer.
Astounding 👏👏👏👏👏
So good!!! Love it sooo much!
Awesome duet.

Love it thank you so much. You sound realy good together. Its probably the years of experience playing together in river city brass.
As a 7th grader who made all-region player and all district i never heard to euphonium player the sound good
You are a great inspiration to a lot of us.
Thank you 🙏
Amazing
Loved seeing the tuba music too 👍🏻👌🏻🔥

Amazing dude
I play the euphonium and that sounded amazing. And happy new years
Love your videos ✊🏽❤️
Thank you so much for this amazing arrangement. My buddie and I will be playing this at a couple concerts.
Happy new years!
my FAVORITE holiday song...wish i could enjoy it....if it was only in treble clef!!!
I like euphoniums
The dislikes are from woodwinds who hate brads
This is... Amazing! Who is the other guy?
Its the other Euphonium player from the river city brass band. The man sits next to him in every other video
@@philippg6023 yeah, i know that. i was just wondering his name.
@@modithorsonn a quick search with google is telling me that his name is Michael Dingfelder. But i am Not 100 percent Sure.
@@philippg6023 ok, cheers mate.
I played this song as first trombone and i had alot of what first euphonium
crescendo...
I play Baritone
Hello.
Beautifully played. Do you have the sheet music for this? Can you please share?
Reminds me of the Trans-Siberian version a lot.
I love this arrangement of Christmas music. Simple but beautiful💯 you both sound amazing as always, love your videos! Any chance I could get a link to the arrangements?
Hey friend, glad you enjoyed the video. Arrangements will be available for download on patreon.com/matonizz . Best, M
Hello , im from germany ,
I do play trombone and trumpet (fanfare) in the orchestra.
To all Who want to start a new Instrument, please decide for the trombone, for me it is better
👍👍👍👍👍
You both play very beautifully!!! Do you have any tips on how to play clear notes in a lower range? I haven’t been able to produce good tone when i play in the lower range, and i was wondering if you had any tips on how to keep a consistent and clean tone?
I think he actually made some videos like this just search on his channel
Second that. Try the educational video playlist friend. You will find multiple videos on tone and lower register. Best, M
Amazing video, but the tuba music appeared to be the same to the second euphonium part which as a tuba player i can tell you that that is really high for a tuba (or at least for me but i am also not a professional in any way shape or form) but i remember being told by my middle school band director (because i was in pep band and the tuba part was an octave too high for our fight song) that when tuba music is that high it is usually was not written by someone who plays tuba. Still great playing on your part
If only i had money to become a patreon member
wow 0 dislikes that’s rare for youtube nowadays.
Love the music community lmao
You jinxed it, 6 now :(
Atomic Basher nah
whoever dislikes it is a malfunctioning donkey
Love it so much, sounds so much like a french horn one octave below normal. so amazing.
also can we see some more French horn things pls
happy new year
Yo
Could you possibly do a video on the Wedge Euphonium Mouthpiece? The intent of the mouthpieces is that they’re supposed to follow the natural shape of teeth. While it’s intriguing, I’m suspicious if they function as well as they say.
High notes but not loud, wish I knew how to do that, I'm still struggling to hit the high notes
All I can say y’all boys play. I played Baritone years ago and would love to get back into it where u think is the best place to start. I read both bass and treble clef but was more better at reading treble clef. I sure I will be short of air lol and have poor techniques
Thank you friend. Try a local community band. Plenty of fun, flexible schedule, great if you're looking to get back into playing :)
Just do it Derrick. I returned to playing after more than half a century, and I am loving it. Like Matonizz said, try joining a local community band. You might also do what I did and sign up for euphonium lessons at a local college. It has helped my technique tremendously. I am also learning bass clef through those lessons to go along with treble clef which I already knew. I also want to learn to read treble clef in concert pitch, so I can read off piano parts or other music pitched in concert pitch.
It is worth commenting that now is a good time because relatively inexpensive Chinese-built instruments of decent quality are available from several sources. I got mine, a four valve compensating euphonium, from musicstore.com for an excellent price. Mack Brass and Wessex are also good sources of similar instruments, though the prices are higher. There are some other good sources as well.
These are amazing. Is there anyway to find both these in treble clef? Both me and my friend read treble but want to play these sooo bad
Glad you like it friend. You can find both clefs and piano part at patreon.com/matonizz
@@Matonizz oh awesome! Thank you so much. Keep up the amazing work
Lovely playing!
What is the purpose of the cloth over the left hand of your colleague? I'm a strings player, and I'm used to seeing cloths covering the chin rest, but that's not applicable here.
Thank you friend. Just better grip and less sweat on instrument :)
@@Matonizz makes total sense. Thanks for the explanation. 🙂
where can i get the sheet music for this(sounds great btw!!)
Hey friend, it's available for download at patreon.com/matonizz
Yooo where my fellow flautists at?
Is there a way you could link the sheet music?
Hi friend. It's available on patreon.com/matonizz
Happy New Year!

@@tonysalvatore2608 Yes he does :D Mike. He does not use social media and prefers sticking to playing if you know what I mean ;) That's why I don't mention his name or much about him, his preference :) Happy New Year Friend!
Do you play tuba as well?
Not to the extent that I do play euphonium :)
Ok thanks for replying

You should name and thank your duet partner from your channel. Just saying.
Maybe he doesn't want to be named ;)
Thanks. Then you should encourage him to share with us. He is great. We want to know and support him.
@@davidchriske4292 I do, that's why we did this video :) Will do more in near future, maybe even a podcast :)
