Fantastic is about all I can say. The range, timing, and the other instruments behind you are perfect. LOVE it. Thank you so much for sharing your great talent. Again it is FANTASTIC.
What a banger... Wonderful tone, magnificient arrangement, truly inspiring ! Thank you so much for your work Matonizz, I think a lot of people want to practice after listening to your playing (me included !)
Yea, keep going with these catchy peices. I love to see a channel with the Euphonium as its main instrument, and you just bring it justice. Long story short, keep up the amazing work!
Awesome!! I really feel like this channel is going to blow up in the near future… You’re basically pioneering your own genre of content here on YT, after all. With content of this quality and consistency, I think your backlogs are going to get a lot of views too! Keep grinding!
Crazy! I’m also a euphonium player that is going to continue throughout college. I’m a senior in high school and still try to practice as much as I can! Your one of the best euphonium players I’ve seen!
Your performance has left me speechless. I’m trying to come up with something to say and nothing I come up with seems like it’s enough. Your talent is on another level. Just wow.
Would depend on the level you're playing at. I'd highly recommend you check my educational video playlist. You will be able to find many routines, methods and exercises that will for sure cater to your playing and progress. Hope this helps friend!
When I was your age, I used to pick hardest pieces as well. It is not the best choice for success of performing those pieces but it is fantastic for pushing yourself to fast track the development of your technique :)
This and the original is some of the best music I've ever heard. Do you have any suggestions for high school euphonium solos with concert band accompaniment? I found this video(and channel) looking for one and am curious to hear any suggestions.
Wow this is killer!!! Any tips about range stuff? That’s my only weak point. Definitely listening to this stuff before my all state audition next weekend. Also what are your thoughts on DCI I’m curious.
Thank you! Make sure to check my ed videos on range. I made numerous vids on this topic, I'm sure it will help you a lot. Also, good luck with audition! Which state btw? DCI is super cool although I've never done it myself :)
I love the breaking/reforming rhythms and extreme octave leaps! Inspiring playing! I'd need to practice 32h/18d a week to get back up to this level. WOW
The king has responded! If I knew you would I probably would've made a more serious response, both the piece and your playing are fantastic, the Queen Sacrifice section is phenomonal
From a trumpet player with is euph-curious lol this really makes me want to make the purchase, though I suspect with the incredible tone you make I may be sad when I'm shit haha
Oh wow! Just wow! Great playing and I agree has to be THE MOST HARD (INSANE) Euphonium solo. It spans five octaves playing the 8va/8vb option and not a real friendly key either in my book (lots of 2-3 fingerings not to mention accidentals). Very well done!!!
Euphonium - an instrument, commonly used in British brass band setting to play solos accompanied by less skilled cornet players. That's what it says in wiki 🤔
How does one achieve this? I'm speechless I want to learn this song asap. My music teachers say im gifted but i just find music to easy but this song was a whole other story.

I don't know, seems pretty easy, I could easily have this down in a few decades.

25 years?!?! It’s been 63 1/2 years and then I realized that I can’t read

i bet bro's stil trying to play this song to this day. it would certainly take me 11 months for sure. atleast to get to the same level as matonizz.

Love this! I will show this off to my brother who plays Euphonium. I play alto sax in middle school, and my brother's a freshman in high. Great video!
Much appreciated friend!
Matonizz, You are James Morrison on Euphonium, the way You play it is sickly good, amazingly high, simply unbeatable!!!!😀😀😀👍👍👍
Thank you, that's a very flattering comparison. He's one of my fav players. Glad you enjoyed the playing friend!
Me, a High School Euph: I wanna do that but I don't know how!
It takes a bit of time to develop the skill. Make sure to check my educational video playlist for some help :)

Why does it sound so slow in .75 speed, but in normal speed it sounds like it’s in x500 😭🙏
:D
That tone quality is truly magnificent especially on those octave plus slurs. This is the euphonium version of fly or die for trombone

Couple of months :)
When you say, "Baritone B.C." or "Baritone T.C.", do you mean a 3-valved baritone, or a 4-valved baritone?
BC stands for bass clef.
TC stands for treble clef.
