"don't think the roof's leaking down at enos lab, no that's the sound of ambient music" *clears throat* actually that's a metronome used in pretty much all genres of music but please do carry on
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Rodrigo Darian thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Eno is amazing on so many levels. 1:08 an ambient composition created from the seed of the beginning of "Strange Little Girl" by the Stranglers, as he mentions at 9:50.
Eno was born LITERALLY a stone's throw from my house, just a line of trees and a couple of houses away from where I'm sitting! Feel privileged. It's actually just outside of Woodbridge, not in the town.
and then, finally, the media allows Brian Eno to actually SPEAK, and then, you begin to understand the brilliance of a true artist.....if they just started with Brian Eno to begin with,
Very interesting. I have been thinking a lot of the relationship between adversity and music too. The best music (Drive-By Truckers, Eminem) is often borne out of poverty. But what does that mean?
Hence the word always in my comment. Their stuff in the 80s and 90s really put some life into post-punk and into music in general. Their stuff nowadays is still pretty good. They still write great music, but that music in no way represents where contemporary music is headed.
I recently listened to KING'S LEAD HAT for the first time in years, and it still has the same effect on me; drives me nuts like a handful of amphetamines...but in a good way!
@TheFrancisLalanne IKR? Why would you describe the person who has produced David Bowie and made some of the most incredible sounds ever as the person who produced Coldplay and U2?
The problem with the little computer in everybody's pocket and the neat apps is it puts ultimate control of access into a monopoly of telecom giants to whom you must fork over ridiculous sums of money. In turn, the apps and the smartphones and the iPads drain the world's limited natural resources and feed the world's burgeoning landfills because next year's model is on sale. And for what? When the batteries die, when the account is cancelled, when the screen goes dark, it's all over like it was never there. I understand Mr. Eno is a clever man, and a consummate optimist, but he's a bit too chummy with the corporate/consumerist agenda for my liking. Google open sores.
Cannot believe Brian Eno gets cut off mid sentence due to time taken up by 2 minutes of cringeworthy and ignorant introduction to the man patiently sitting in the room, waiting to talk/
I love his song Spinning Away.

Yeah. The guy mixed a metronome sound with the song Itself lol like he cant Differentiate?

@Rodrigo Darian It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out :D
the man is a genius, his work is as relevant now as it was back then.
Eno is amazing on so many levels. 1:08 an ambient composition created from the seed of the beginning of "Strange Little Girl" by the Stranglers, as he mentions at 9:50.
skip to 5:30 to hear Brian Eno talk. The beginning 5 and a half minutes are uninteresting.
Well, like, man, that's just your opinion.
Notice how Eno skirts the bad questions with such positive answers. In short, he is one of the most creative minds of our time.
Creativity is like water, it seeps out wherever there is an outlet.
Love to hear Eno. Thank you!
He's so awesome.
That's all I have to say. I am speechless.
Eno was born LITERALLY a stone's throw from my house, just a line of trees and a couple of houses away from where I'm sitting! Feel privileged. It's actually just outside of Woodbridge, not in the town.
What an interesting human being
06.33
He was talking about APPS
Back in 2011
A True Visionary
This man played the bass on Love Is The Drug. And created Ambient outta a hospital stay.Respect! :-)
THE GENIUS WHICH IS ENO.
such an inspiring person
A musical genius.
and then, finally, the media allows Brian Eno to actually SPEAK, and then, you begin to understand the brilliance of a true artist.....if they just started with Brian Eno to begin with,
the interview starts (awkwardly) at 5:00 minutes in..... for your information : )
Before, during and then the now after. from a rational optimist
Very succinct!
Ya I was thinking that too.
He Also Produced Ultravox's first Album Ultravox! and Devo's Debut Are we not men we are Devo
could you please name all the composition in th background?
Very interesting. I have been thinking a lot of the relationship between adversity and music too. The best music (Drive-By Truckers, Eminem) is often borne out of poverty. But what does that mean?
still the power behind the throne. whatever you might think.
just when eno was taking off, they cut it!! NOooooooooooo!
Thumbs up!

+Dan Crosby .... great song too! in fact the entire album is amazing
Perhaps that was his direction for the interview.
I LOVE #NEWSNIGHT. I LOVE THE #BBC
LOL, paxman's audacity laden greeting "how is it, chrome dome?", fell flat on it's face at about 5 mins. Eno, bless him , went "chrome dome?"
@TheFrancisLalanne IKR? Why would you describe the person who has produced David Bowie and made some of the most incredible sounds ever as the person who produced Coldplay and U2?
Wish he could have kept going..
genius!!!
genius. speaking of sharing, mayb check out the animation 'lightglobal meltdown'
does brian eno ever get to talk?
Thursday Afternoon is permanently in my car CD player.
well, he did co-produce Outside.
genius
this interview reminds me that the dry cleaners put way to much starch in my underpants.
Eno didn't produce the Berlin trilogy.
I'm pretty sure John Zorn invented the card idea with Cobra, but I could be wrong.
The nick Clegg collaboration might embarass him more
Eno definitley isn't gay, his womanizing exploits during his Roxy Music days are infamous!!!
Good to know.
Green World, yes no maybe ever never what.
Do you know that our brains are getin smaller ?
hahaha what a great ending!
Bugger, forgot about that.
St Elmo's fire
I get the impression Paxman doesn't understand what generative music is.
Eno never "produced" Bowie.
Outside.
Outside...
@@jessica5497 Outside was a collaboration.
really awkward intro by paxo at 5 min 10 or thereabouts

he means ""open source".... not open sores!
Oh great, old sourpuss is back
He's middle class.
Haha same here.
LOL...of course; our brains must be getting smaller.
Yes to talking Heads, No to shitty Coldplay and U2.
Cannot believe Brian Eno gets cut off mid sentence due to time taken up by 2 minutes of cringeworthy and ignorant introduction to the man patiently sitting in the room, waiting to talk/
well, everyone has to pay the bills...douchy douchy douchy.......bag.
this guy talks to general and isn't to a specific point, if u had a ligit point against his, he could bullshit past it
This is a bullshit profile and interview. I love Brian Eno but he did not produce Bowie's "Berlin Trilogy". TONY VISCONTI did!!!!
wow.....abrupt.
Why all of the British anchors sound like annoyed grandpas.
are you talking about yourself? Neither Brian Eno or David Bowie are gay....
