Goddamn that dogfight with Strigon was intense
5:06 I tagged this because a second afterwards, you could see the tracers of all allied tanks firing at once at the closest ground unit.
No kill like overkill
“Fuck you in particularly.”
Someone had a bad day.
(Key word 'had')
This was always one of my favorite missions because you feel the urgency to reach your Allie’s before they are wiped out. I’d pin the trigger down and start lobbing ordinance at whatever I could the second I was in range. All to hear those relieved calls on the radio when the ground forces realize we’re there to help. Fucking gives me chills
This battle was absolutely EPIC!!!
Shahjahan Masood Yes
I swear, mission wise, This might be the most realistic mission out of the entire series in my opinion.
Spydigger59. DANGER CLOSE DANGER CLOSE! Garudas on the way.
@Spydigger59 How?
How bro we gotta know. You can’t just state something like that and then disappear for 2 years!
@@jagarcia0705 probably due to the sheer size and realistic force quantities, as well as the strategic design of the mission, in terms of how the units are lined up to help defend the airport but also in general, a pocket of Emmerian resistance in dire need of support surrounded by Estovakian troops.
Whiskey Corridor felt legit too tho
This Strigon fighter really give you a great challange
89BlackGatomon, well he's staying true to character by selecting the F-15E. But of course, most Strigons throughout the game are flying Su-33 Flanker-Ds, which outclass the F-15 in manoeuvrability
But they still give him a good challange... It only shows how good they are as pilots ;J
And to top it off, there are four strigons total in this mission. This is why I fly the SU-33 with Strigon colors in this mission. My initial armament is the rocket launcher. And I go for the airport first. I do one rocket strafe run to protect the airport. Then I continue in a straight line since the strigon team is just beyond the airport and I deal with them immediately.
Those Sukhoi SU-37's are built like brick houses. And they fly like a dream.
Ace Combat 5 had the best voice actors and the comm was more realistic military wise and the story was more moving. This one just has more going on in the battle field.
2:12 Long Caster?
Sounds just like him!
The Estovakians were going to bomb the only restaurant serving the delicacies of the not-existent-in-Strangereal culture known as "Italian" :P
Here i go commanding again
@@jacobridgeway2849 On my own! Flying up the only sky I've ever known! Like a diabetic I eat under the rayyy-dooome!
12:10 this dude was tired of ''good dancing'' so he resorted to dance with Cipher's cousin lol
I appreciate the F-15E, however (still understanding); the A-10 with FAEB fits great with this mission (assuming you use suppport), with respect.
Nope this airhead prefers to stay cannon
Silvat town is still hands down my favorite mission of the entire game, probably up there with my favorite missions of anything. ever. under any circumstances.
My favorite mission of all ac 4, 5 and 6. Thank God I ended up getting the Xbox. Mainly because of the sheer size of the battlefield and the dire need of help those surrounded soldiers and airman where in.
I like how something a kid heard turned Into a phrase they said which intern because a slogan of all the pilots and stuff
interesting
The easiest way to shoot members of Strigon is to make head on slashing attacks. There are very few aircraft in the world that can come remotely close to any fighter in the SU-27 family in terms of maneuverability.
When I play this game, I feel like I’m the Dominic Toretto of Ace Combat 6. 😁😂
Damn! Those Strigons are pretty good!
That Sukhoi is a pain in the ass
I miss this from AC7, the big battles with a lot of squadrons and names all around. 7 also doesn't have that cool ass story from Zero or 5. It's like they tried doing a bit of both or something. It'd be great if it had a story as good as Zero AND the big ass battles from 6.
Wait, mid battle landing sequences? I didn't know they had that!
You know, I actually hated the Melissa story telling parts. I just didn't find it particularly interesting, it had potential imo to talk about the emotional loss brought by loosing loved ones in a war into a cliched 'i need to rejoin my loved ones' story that we've all heard about a million times before. I enjoyed learning more about practically everyone else (until the Estovakian intelligence officer started to hang out with those street urchins). Still, it was great to actually have cutscenes though, so I'll be glad to finally see what 7 brings us.
Fires of Liberation is a two-faced mess. Its gameplay and mission structure are arguably the best in the series (I haven't played 7 yet, so let's keep it out of the equation), but while its narrative has the potential to be strong and is solid at its core, it's told so poorly that it's hard to believe this is even the same series as the Holy Trinity. The writing is hammy and excessively anime even by Ace Combat standards, the voice acting is atrocious, and the emotions which came so naturally in the previous games are manufactured and forced in 6. It seems to me that not only is the script horrible and underdeveloped, but the localization is far off the mark as well. Overall I love this game, and I hold today that its reputation would be better if Playstation fans didn't choose to remain so sore about Namco's exclusivity deal with Microsoft, but it's definitely a game only people already into the series' lore can get invested in, and, unlike the Holy Trinity on PS2, it is often downright embarrassing to play in public areas on account of its cutscenes.
It is definitely cliched, but I didn't find it totally bad. Definitely not as good as ac 4. Better then ac5 because I hate ocean propaganda. Never would have known it was propaganda until ACF showed me, because I definitely would have liked it more than ac 5 storyline.
I liked that they used in game engine as their cutscenes, giving the sense we're looking directly at the situations on the ground. Honestly, the narration would've been better if it focused on the soldiers on both sides about the climate of the war as it goes on.
no use on an empty stomach.
PORQUE EU N CONSIGO COMENTAR NA PAGINA DO FACEBOOK????
Estovakian ground infantry: RETREAT NOW. WE CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE THE ENTIRE UNIT!!!!!!
Emmerian ground infantry: ALL UNITS, THE STOVIES ARE PULLING BACK. PUSH FOWARD!!!!!!
Emmerian tank battalion: GO FOR THE COUNTERATTACK, BABY!!!!!
Estovakian tank battalion: WE'RE LOSING GROUND HERE, WE NEED BACKUP!!!!
Garuda 1 GO DANCE WITH THE ANGELS!!!!!!
Estovakian plane 1: MISSILE CLOSING ON YOU!!!!!
Estovakian plane 2: I'M HIT!!!!! I'M GOING DOWN!!!!!
Garuda 2: GOOD WORK!!!!!
Estovakian chopper: THIS DOESN'T LOOK GOOD!!!!!
Emmerian chopper: SAY GOODBYE!!!!!
Estovakian chopper: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Ghost eye: THE MISSION IS GOING WELL, ALL FORCES, KEEP THE PRESSUNE ON!!!!!!
Yellow jacket: OF COURSE WE DO!!!!!!
Garuda 1: KEEP ON FIRING!!!!!
Emmerian troops: ROGER THAT!!!!!!
I have such a love hate relationship with this game. It’s visually beautiful, fun to play. But the missions are a drag, and so many fucking air to ground battles and endlessly flying close to the ground to not die. And two different “fortress” maps and two very underwhelming super weapon battles. The chandelier is cool to see at least but the Flying Fortress was so easy, even on Ace level
15:16 Strigon 10's first name must have been Kenny.
How do you change the view to cockpit in this games?
Luqman Hakim in in the right stick
F-15 vs SU-33 .. OK challenge accepted lol
I read Silvat as "Farbanti"
its a shame you aren't using the wingman to the full potential
they can be amazing for helping out even a little bit
Are you guys sure that the f15 is the canon jet and not the f16, when I first played, I started without selecting, the f16
Gabriel Pedre it makes you start with the f-16 but the canon plane is the f-15 cause of box art, as well as it being confirmed to be so
@@Swerving01 That depend of the country box art, for example here we have the Rafale M
F-16 is the starter jet you need to unlock the F-15 as your progress, Canonically Talisman flies an F-15 through the entire story while Shamrock starts off with a F-16 but during the Sipili Field assault he finally switches to the F-15
6 missiles for 1 strigon plane? .....
Soviet enginering my friend
Modern jets take hits as well as people do. Its first sight first kill.
they die faster to machine gun fire
Salty Frenchy False. Stovie Engineering
He managed to take it in a non-critical area.
You shake off a strigon team member's fighter. By landing to rearmed? What a wierd this game gone! (p.s it during mid-time of this video)
C'mon. You're Getting Better. savory painful What's your opinion about this, guys
Sorry ACF, but I'm going to need you to remake this video using an Su-33 with rockets, while using lots of guns. Basically I need a replacement of Tomcat171's video. Thanks bro! lol

This playthrough would have been far more enjoyable if you used other planes other than the f15
