Love the amount of build option but the builds themselves feel a bit incomplete? While it explain the skills used and how to play the build there no actual build tree for how many points into each skill and there nothing on the all important paragon board that's for build progression past 50 (or is it just currently still embargo where you can't show it yet?) Thanks!
Dude your channel is insane and you and your team are incredible. As an adhd gamer who struggles with decisions, your concise well made/edited content really brings out the full extent of joy I can experience in gaming and eases a ton of the cognitive burden. Thanks for making me excited for this game too!
Worth more than any other gaming channel, even if we add those together. Focused, informative, entertaining and I could continue for hours. They’re the very best of what they’re doing.
Dude, I just wanna say. I usually HATE UA-camrs that explain things cause they beat around the bush and just say things they think will get views but you really get to the point WHILE explaining all necessary things, you are amazing sir. WELL DONE!!!
As usual, Fextralife coming in clutch to help us pick a class/build without spoiling the game. You guys are always the best at doing this and my first stop to get info on the games I like. Not to mention how much of a lifesaver your wikis are. Thanks a lot for all the work you put in!
I think I agree with most of what he said in the video, but I think the necromancer is actually a good fit for people overwhelmed by everything on the screen - enemies, abilities, etc. Essentially, with all the minions you have, the enemies get distracted and you can then focus on other parts of the screen and not everything all at once, which make it easier to process.
I started playing on NYE! I’ve played all the Diablo games! I started way back in 95-96 I think on my buddies X Box and PC!! I am so in love with this game again! I stopped playing D3 in like 2019! Missed my hack n slash vibes!! I’m currently Level 53 and enjoying the quests and slaying the hordes of hell again!! Playing as a HotA Barbarian and absolutely F’n love it!! Fast paced and WICKED HIGH DAMAGE!! Especially if you can keep berserk and bonuses from weapon swapping!! Crazy fun playstyle!
Great video. As you went through each class, I said to myself "Yes, that's the one" and then by the end of the video I still have no idea what I'll pick! This and your other detailed class build videos have been really entertaining and helpful to at least let me know what options are available though. Thanks!
Just wanted to say thank you for the premium content you bring. Always look forward to these build videos whether it being for diablo or Elden ring! Keep up the great work
I was intent on playing necromancer at launch, but now I'm considering a poison druid just to shake it up. As someone who loves summoning classes, this might be a fun change of pace. Nice video
I had a great time trying a poison druid during server slam and it was crazy good at trash mob crowd clearing, but pretty bad against single target. It is possible I was somehow playing it wrong, or that the Druid class mechanic and later legendaries may resolve that issue. I'd still encourage you to give it a go, seeing as it was a lot of fun 90% of the time
Except for the part where he explicitly skipped over a build because it's "obviously not a meta thing" which isn't even true by the way. Support Barbs have always been meta and Diablo 4 will be no different.
I usually fall into the mage, magic wielder in games like this so naturally went to sorceress. No regrets! I love support, high cc, high damage, high risk playstyle.
I've never played a Diablo game before, so I appreciate all of the useful information. The game looks like so much fun. I'm excited to try out different builds.
I already noticed it with your Elden Ring build videos but it's incredible how good your videos are. Can't wait for the game to release and start testing these builds .
Woke up and there's a new video. Awesome. I don't know why I keep watching class videos since I already know I'll be playing a barb, but somehow I learn something new so that's good. The funny thing is that I was planning to make a Spin to Win build cause it looked fun, didn't know it'll be S tier lmao 😂
This was my first installment in the series, and I chose the necromancer Surprisingly The resource management seemed to come naturally, despite me not being a fan of those types of games😅😅 I've since moved onto a rogue and am liking that JUST as much as Necro!😁😁👍👍 Fantastic content and love the videos!😁😁
Let's goooo! Awesome build options, well explained mechanics, pros and cons list, etc. You guys are killing the guides. Very glad I found your channel, keep up the great work!
I am still confused between Druid and Rogue. On one end, I resonate with the point you made around 5:23, players who like meele and casting spells. But their lack of mobility and slow early game are not good. On the other end, we have Rogue who’s versatile like Druid but has mobility and no issues like slow early game. But I miss the fantasy element of turning into a wear-bear/wolf and using nature attacks like cyclones and lightning. At the end of the day, I like mid-to-close range combat with melee and some casting.
Thanks for the help as always. Just getting into the Diablo franchise. I’m more of a soulsborne player but I got to play the open beta and server slam and I’m hooked!
What an absolute chad - i love this video. I fully agree, pick the class you like playstyle for. Tier lists before a game even launches is such a new wave of the metaplay that ruins a lot of good games. Games like this are meant to be diverse with wide viability so that everyone can enjoy themselves. GREAT VIDEO. GREAT ENDGAME BUILDS. FEXTRALIFE - KILLING THE SCENE AS ALWAYS. MY MAN!!!!
Having played extensively in the 2022 Xmas closed end game beta: The builds presented here are WT3 viable but things change as you progress on WT4. New builds turn viable. Druid with shockwave pulverize that focused around grizzly rage -> stacking up critical damage; was absolutely crazy. I think the L100 "final boss" on WT4 lasted ~2-3 seconds.
I like the way you brief each class with variant builds/play style even with some niche types, e.g. support Bar. That helps me have a general idea about how one class will look like in endgame. Rogue will be my 1st choice for story walk-through and i'm still learning its build via all kinds of videos. One question on about 10:15, your energy nearly runs out then suddenly gets refilled, what is the skill triggers that? I don't see you spamming invigorating strike either. Thanks!
If I remember right, Rogue unlock special perks around 20 and unlock more later. One of the perks randomly marks an enemy, and attacking the marked enemy 10 times or killing the marked enemy refills your energy and reduces energy consumption for 3 seconds.
Excited to play it? I am counting the seconds.... great video, helps to get a general perspective of the characters and make a formed decision on which character to play 1st
Great video. I'm compelled to give the Druid my first playthrough. Plan to play D4 on my SteamDeck, which runs the game well and feels great playing melee with a controller.
Barbarian was always my main, but I'm struggling to truly enjoy it without any cleave on basic attacks. Makes fighting crowds feel awful when you need to build Rage
Very accurate descriptions, but a barbarian, lots of planning, i think this is a PROS, that's why we love RPG games and create a build you like that matches your play style.
Great video and I love your channel. My selection of games to play for the remainder of this year and into next will be Armored Core 6, Starfield, and then this game. I think between these 3 I wont really play too much of anything else. I might try some out if on gamepass, but I feel these 3 will take up the vast majority of my gaming time. It will be very interesting to see the builds for this game .
Oh man, another great video. However, I feel that the con "Less Aspect Slots" is a little misleading. They have the average number of slots, but the Barb and Rogue have extra ones as a pro. It's kind of like putting "no spirit boons", "no minions", or "no enchantments" as cons on the barb and rogue.
I tried Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Rogue and I stuck with the sorcerer. Necromancer is fun to me because i like having minions but the sorcerer fits more of my play style of flashy spells and abilities to attack a single target or a mob. The Rogue i struggle with. I like using the bow for ranged attacks but i cant seem to handle mobs well. Maybe i just dont know how to spec his abilities but I've just lost my enjoyment for rogue
Nice video. I play melee sorcerer. Just drop a blizzard and then arc lash everything. It feels more like a brawler than a sorcerer, and I like that. Pretty cool you can have different play styles on same classes.
I have been an assassin lover since ragnarok online. I like fast, agile, and mechanical classes. I main deathblade in lost ark. I think rogue is the closest to an assassin class in diablo 4. I will go for it.
I want to do Vampire Necromancer ever since Beta, full Blood nothing else maybe with Corpse Tendrils, no minions also. I just hope there is nice armor to match it, Undead Horse plus Barding (hopefully not paid cosmetics). I also loved Lightning Druid and Sorcerer in BETA.
I should've picked Rouge. I play FFXIV a lot so I'm used to pressing buttons a lot to preform combos and I also prefer quick play style. Damn, i should've pick rogue.
Great vid. I found Rogue to be the most fun during the beta, but I felt like I might not be skilled enough to take them far into end game. Think that is who I'll be going through the story with at least
Definitely barb! Since i always pick a bruiser kind of class with big weapon first in every game lol My first to last will be barb>necro>druid>rogue>sorc

You explained them all so well that..........I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO PICK!!!! :) Guess I will try them all just like Diablo III. I really wanted sentry demon hunter but that doesn't seem an option.
I was thinking about doing necro again, as I remember that being absolutely crazy in the beta, but now I'm considering sorcerer or druid as well, they look super cool at high levels
Really bummed that people are so in love with guides on showing you what to play and what's best. Less than 10% of the gaming community plays to have fun and they all want to let people explore and trial-and-error the game for them (which is the biggest appeal to gaming).
What do you think would be the best character/build for a military veteran with disabilities? I'm unable to click as much as I used to. Is there anything that can do well at endgame with minimal clicks? Thanks.
The arrows shooting everywhere come from a shrine, no build does that, although rogue has a piercing arrow and crow control build that's all about movement, lining up a big shot and exploding the whole screen.

The real test for a class is in the late game when you have to face a single powerful enemy.
Youve become one of my go-to youtubers for any kind of build games, truly appreciate you, fextra!
THIS 100000%
The beginner guide was really good. Now to decide what class is best for the player, this is gonna be great!
This is one of the best guides I’ve ever watched. Love how it focuses on viable class+build playstyles without implications of a “meta.”
Except for the part where he explicitly skipped over a build because it's "obviously not a meta thing" which isn't even true by the way. Support Barbs have always been meta and Diablo 4 will be no different.
You ever try playing a game for fun and figuring things out on your own? Perhaps exploring the game yourself?
whats wrong with nerds trying to find the current meta of a game, i love the research they put in and i can just read on something like maxroll
