Thanks for the 5 year review. Has convinced me, that this tarp is exactly what I need for Motorcycle camping.
You are welcome. These are great tarps. I recently heard from a subscriber that you can find them on Amazon for approximately half price. He told me he found one for $45!!!
@@ItsGoodintheWoods will definitely have to check that out as shipping from the states to Australia would cost me $120 AUD!
My son’s scout troop has started doing more backpacking vs. camping. We need a couple light weight tarps for a kitchen area and a group shelter. This looks like the right price and reasonably durable for a bunch of teenagers.
I would say these tarps are the perfect blend of durability and weight for that application. Paria makes this tarp in a variety of shapes and sizes, so you are sure to get the right tarp for the job.
Nice review. Bought a Aqua quest ultralight 10 x 10 2 yrs ago, going strong. Thanks for posting.
Solid! Glad to hear it is still holding up
Sweet tarp Justin! Cheers! 🍻
Thanks man! Happy Friday!🍺
Justin, I enjoy your channel and product reviews. I have the Paria Thermodown 15 down top quilt. Really solid quality. The comfort temp range for me is roughly down to the upper 20’s. I think 15 degrees is a bit generous. Of course it might be I’m just getting soft in my old age. 😂
They make good stuff! Glad to hear you like their quilt. Also glad to hear you enjoy the channel content! thank you very much for your support of the channel
Great feedback on the tarp. I almost bought one. I like all the extra tie-outs on it making it very versatile.
Right on! It would be a worthy purchase.....I am thinking about getting the 10 x 10 ....
Great video...purchased something similar for my upcoming ATV and truck camping. Getting away from my overland trailer and going much lighter. I actually strung my 10x12 over the back of the truck, and it worked fabulous. Thanks always for the fantastic videos...Im a few behind but will catch up soon! Peace!
I bet you were comfortable with the tarp over the truck bed! The coverage of a 10 x 12 is great.
I love and use those line locs they sell.
Me too! They are awesome!
Nice. I was looking into their tarps recently but went with a 7x9 Borah Gear silpoly tarp. It'd be fun to mess with their square tarp for different pitches. I picked up their bug bivy recently and worked it out. Pitched it on top of a park table though so not a proper test😁
I am thinking about getting the 10 x 10 next. You'll be needing that bug bivy soon....they are coming. Solid purchase
Funny you posted this. My REI SL2 tarp has one minor issue after that Mullica trip so I started checking out others just two days ago. Some of the stitching on one of my center line loops broke. No big deal but a solid excuse to fix that part and buy another for science.
For science!
@@ItsGoodintheWoods it must be done.
Whatcha looking at............? @@projectknifehand
@ItsGoodintheWoods honestly was looking at cheapies on Amazon lol. Mostly because it's primarily used for the same reason. A common area. But....90 bucks isn't bad for one that can already be trusted really. I was thinking about another Warbonnet. But don't like the ridgeline for a common area tarp because it could possibly leak when used in a different configuration
Can't beat a quality budget tarp!! Hitting with the specs 😂 those line locks and cord kit I need to get as well✊️🔥✌️💚
Those line locks and dyneema cord are amazing
@@ItsGoodintheWoods I've gotta add some to the Cimarron bells it out with ALLOT more room almost robbed them from my other tent
I was looking for a new tarp, the 10x10is more my speed. many thanks
I am thinking about getting the 10 x 10 next
Nice tarp man.
Thank you! This tarp has been great to me. I hope to get a lot more use out of it. Thanks for stopping by man!
How do their guidelines show up under light at night? I've had some that are very reflective and others that say they have reflective properties to them that actually don't.
These things light up! They let you know they are there
Hmmm. No fire… no 🍺 no 🐖
None of that....just a quick, to the point 5 year performance review
