I am sure that I am not alone when it comes to trusting Sarah's opinions and decisions when it comes to her projects. Every single one so far have been perfect in my opinion (not that mine matters).
Sarah, the Supra and Celica builds are absolutely amazing!! You have great vision and execution for your projects!!
Aren't they just. I'd be proud to own either of them.
Sarah thank you for you’re service . It’s nice to see a veteran happy in they’re life after service , I have really enjoyed this series of videos on the Celica keep you do great work!
The Celica Supra is stunning, probably one of your best builds
That wheel choice for the Celica just looks perfect, especially given the theme you're building it to. Excellent! :)
I could tell you were very upset. You are a true enthusiast and a kind soul. May the universe grant you all you need and ever want.
I’m very impressed with her depth of knowledge and hands-on skills. Plus she’s a looker.
Both cars are looking incredible! Your sense of style is amazing. Wheel choice on both cars is spot on! Love the black/ dark wheels against the gold color of the Celica. Always look forward to your podcasts!
The celica is the most gorgeous project cars i've seen on the channel !
To quote Project Farm: Very Impressive 😎
Great choice on the wheels and tires! That looks fire!
8:30 The rockers painted to match the flares would be 🔥
Maybe bed liner.
No
The '74 is looking great. Glad to see another video about it.
Your editing and story telling is top notch
Great looking wheels and tires.
That style of wheel was first seen on Minilites which was designed by BMC for the Mini Cooper rally cars in 1962, originally they were made from a Magnesium alloy to save weight, Minilites were also used in US TransAm racing in the 70s.
Looks great just the way it is ,the wheels perfect
Those rims on the Celica are killer!!!!!!!!! The Supra looks fresh off the show room floor. Great job on both.
The wheels and tire combo looks Great.
Sarah, you have the best taste in cars and wheels. Those Watanabes look absolute fire.
Those look soooo MEAN!!! Love that car stance!!!
Wow...those wheels and stance were fantastic! Love it! Almost bought one of those cars back in '74 myself. Loved the eagerness of the motor to rev and the manual was easy and quick to shift.
You have amazing vision , Can’t wait to see the finished project!
the Watanabes and the stance are perfect!
Those rims look so kick ass, I love it.
This thing is beautiful. thanks to you!!!
I'm sorry about the lost blinker and glad because you've found a replacement for it.
Fun fact: "Boca" is the word for "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese. Italian is "bocca" while French is "bouche".
Sorry Sarah but your comment about the wheels being the original design and all others are copies are incorrect .The original is in fact British company minilite from 1962 but your choice is excellent great channel and great to see a lady into mechanic's with such passion ❤❤❤
Yay, you found some more parking light assembly.. so cool.
Talk about beefy! those tires and wheels look great. As an air-cooled Volkswagen fan I built a sedan and a squareback with meats like yours. Great job! 🚙
This is my favorite build on the entire interweb....
Wantanabes definitely worth the wait. So sick looking and would look insane on the Supra, too! And Boca, what a sweet pup!
Both sit perfect for their intended use. Hellaflush was no Bueno on the RA21 for the front.
Nice wheel and tire selection!
You &these older classics go hand in hand. I Drive an old 76 HJ Kingswood, all these beasts are built to last
Inspirational Cleanliness.
For inner wheel cleaning ease I like 3M Teflon spray on coating.
Sarah..you might want to place some form of sealer,or two sided tape between the Body and your fiberglass Flairs..I can see light between then ...the gap will allow dirt, dust and water to splash up on your newly painted Fenders, and quarter panels.
If you really want to test the contact points of the tyres in the wheel wells, you need to put something under the wheels crosswise, meaning one 4 inch thick piece of solid wood or something like that beneath, for example the front left AND the rear right at the same time.
That way you get the maximum travel of the suspension to inspect the points of contact.
For our German TÜV that's a mandatory procedure to get an aftermarket suspension approved to the registration papers. (Without that you drive without insurance coverage and that is illegal around here.)
Great video. To bad the light fell out. Supra looks awesome.
City Pigeons are hard core.
Sarah, Your Toyota is truly show quality. This car looks unbelievable.
I guessed the wheels correctly a few weeks ago they look awesome as i knew they would
Great job on the video Sarah! Thanks for making it.
Beautiful job!! Beautiful car! ❤ mechanic! Love u Sarah!
Ken Block would be proud! Awesome job Sarah!
Sorry Sarah, I am a total savage. Please keep making this kind of content - it is like a breath of fresh air.
3:00 - no Sarah, that spacer is not acceptable. Not for any of the reasons you countered, but because it is not Hub-Centric spacer, with the correct mount that fits in to the center of the wheel and carries the loads, and transfers them directly to the hub. That unit you held up is carrying the loads on the wheel studs, which is what causes studs to shear off over rough surfaces. Without the hub carrying the loads, you're relying on the friction between the vertical surfaces to support it, with the friction generated by the clamping forces, that in turn can lead to stretched over tightened studs and nuts.
The Celica looks boss with the wantssomeknobies on it
Love how Old Skool Sarah is for someone so young. Her taste in cars and mods and even music is awesome and as cool as it gets! Goes without saying the sheer quality of her work and insane attention to detail is breathtaking…..I wish all mechanics were like Sarah! Best car channel on the toob bar none!!
Love the MOP ref!!
Always liked that body style and thought about installing a v8 in one
Great choice on the wheels!!
Such an awesome build!
You're such a genius I love you Sarah
Love the content. Great we are getting back to the RA21 I always loved that car.
You are so right about finding competent alignment, and tire mount/balance shops. You do fantastic work.
Sarah There is always some thing ... Looking amazing
Really nice wheels and a great match to the car.
Love the color and with those wheels outstanding
my fav celica miss my stock lose shifter and lots of juice
Those rims are FIRE 🔥
those wheels and tires look muscle car sick!
I'm having some Teeter Tot flashbacks with those wheel spacers
Oh now you'll have to include some Sadao Watanabe in your Celica playlist!
Wheels and tires are outstanding. Stance looks great.
Be a great idea IMO to get some machined bits to make those spacers hub centric inner and outer
The 2UZ is looking amazing! Yet another awesome build Sarah.
Cool t-shirt, Sarah! I bought one just like it from some UA-cam channel. If only I could remember which one... Oh yeah! It was your channel! Love the design!
The wheels are fantastic and would look great on either car
That supra is just amazing 👍👍😍😍
Hello, Person on the Internet making car videos that we like to watch! 🖐👋👐🙌🖐👋
Actually, the John Cooper Works Rose Petals followed by the Minilites came out pre-1962 that was the original OG of that design the Panasports, and all those others came later they were clones. Prior to that were the Cooper Bannana-spoke magnesium wheels in 1956.
That looks GREAT!
Looks great Sarah. I cannot wait to see the end results. You are doing a great job at keeping it real. AWESOME~!
Great choice! I have R-Types on my 86
Those wheels are absolutely stunning on the Celica, and next to the giveaway Celica.
Don "Partial MOPP 4! GAS GAS GAS!" hahahah. nice
I cant wait for the start up
Celica looks Killer .. Great choice👌
The Queen of JDM restos!
Those wheels are Awesome 🎉
That car looks amazing already with that paint job and those wheels. 👍
I love the decisions you made on both the Celica and the Supra... wish I had both cars in my garage! Absolute fire! With love from Canada
Sarah is cool. Love that older car.
We know u always do your best.
Thats Ross Clarke's celica! Check out his TA64 too, that thing is sweet
That is a great stance. Been looking forward to seeing what it was going to get for new shoes! Nice!
We have the exact same alignment setup where I work, including the various 2x4 to get low cars on there. The hardest thing I've done is an Autozam. Those are barely wide enough to actually go on the rack.
Damn those are 2 sweet cars Sarah!
Bonus Sarah!
🏁
Damn. Have never caught Sarah's upload this quick. I'm still watching another time. Time for bed here. See you later Sarah ❤
Sarah your doing an amazing job with your car I know you care about it 😊
Your wheel and tire choice for the Celica look great, you are right that the muscle car looks works well. You are also right that stretched tires and not a look to go for.
Car is looking awesome.👊🏻
Those wheels look like a larger version of the 1961 mini lite wheels as fitted to the 1962 onwards Mini Cooper
that looks so bad assed!
You rock, Sarah! Roll with the punches, and keep up the great work!
Watanabe's are where it's at! I even made the comment in the previous video that I thought you were going to get them for the Supra but then you ended up installing the Hayashi's. Both wheel choices are perfect for either cars. You have impeccable taste Sarah.
I love your builds. This one is my fav. Rad as F. Wish i could do that. Can't wait to see the finished car
Hi Sarah! I think this is only the second time I've commented on one of your videos. I absolutely love this project and I think you and I have parallel ideologies when it comes to car stuff. Anyway! I hate to point out mistakes and this isn't exactly a mistake, but a bit of pedantry. Yes, Watanabes were the first of their kind...for Japan. But, they're based on the Minilite, from England. Some would say they're a copy, but whatever, I like all the "derivatives" of the Minilite, including Wats, of course. Minilites were developed in the late 50s specifically for racing Minis, and were valued for their light weight, strength, and brake cooling ability...so much so that they became in demand for other applications. They're my favorite wheel of all time. I actually have a set of real Minilites on my 2002 Civic Si EP3 as a little nod to its Anglo-Nipon heritage (the car was built in Swindon, England). Keep up the excellent work! You're pretty much my favorite gearhead UA-camr! 😸👍
