@CK-Cycles the slide hammer with the forks is a good idea and another pointer I do is apply a jubilee clip around the outside of the fork leg were the seal is and prise a thin blade screwdriver down the edge of the seal then collapse inwards which once done the sal will fail out.

Suggest you watch Dale Sweger video on how he uses a very sharp chisel to remove seals. I've used his method. Worked well

Forks can be a pain in the ass especiallyif someonehas applied threadlock on a rebuild, many times i have drilled the caphead off before.
These were difficulty ones for sure. Thanks for the pointer.

Do you have any closeups of the damper rod? My shocks were tampered with and I have no reference of which direction some of the parts go.
