Staci Lattisaw and Traci Spencer and Shanice were all good girls with exceptional voices that left the industry at the height of their careers because they all had integrity and a strong family base. I would love for the 3 of them to share their inside story in a bioptic movie then collaborate an album as the Real Sisters with Voices....I think something unpleasant or underhanded may have taken place with Traci that she chooses not to get into. Either way, so happy to see her after 2 decades. She seem genuine and I hope she and Staci will find their way back to recording music. We know Shanice still performs every now and then but Staci and Traci completely shut it down and while I respect their decision and appreciate their previous work, it just feel like we are missing out on a gift they attain while we are forced to listen to sooo many non gifted singers over the airwaves.

I don't see how a three way biopic would work considering Staci is from a generation prior to Shanice and Tracie. Shanice never left the industry her career was sidelined by her pregnancies and LaFace not working the SHANICE album the way they should have it was a near perfect album. TRACIE seemed unhappy in LA alone and the vultures in the industry after her. Shanice had her family in LA with her TRACIE was in LA alone in those last years so she went home.

In this era where the alternative/independent/underground scenes are so fertile I'm sure a ton of the producers and songwriters would be thrilled to work with all three of them. I'd love to see all three do projects with some of the collaborators Phonte regularly works with (Zo!, Tall Black Guy, Nicolay)

Not to be funny but Tracie didn’t leave at the height of her career. She left at the time when it declined and sells of her albums suffered. So she had no choice cause she was going to be dropped by her label

@@I-AM-BELIEVER She still had a choice to stay in the game because she was (and to this day) considered worthy of mention as a real talent after she released her Hit song Tender Kisses. It's just that easy. Pack up and leave. You have to flee Temptation before it over takes you. They would've start sexually harassing her has she not left. Chante Moore stated that she wasn't promoted and Black ball because she was religious and stayed in long term relationships or she was married. They let her know we want to sell you and single and sexy., and we want to be able to coerce you to sleep with us. Selena Johnson said R. Kelly always treated her with respect but when she drove to see him and brought her boyfriend and future husband with her. Her dropped her from the song and album. She said he became very cold and distant with her. They do they best to plot on women. Very sad😢😢😢

3:14 No you don't. You guys DECIDED what you wanted and signed up for it.
SHE was able to dip out because her *INTEGRITY* REMAINED IN TACT and she refused to let the industry (with which YALL CHOSE TO ALIGN), deplete her because her Soul was not for sale -- but I'mma let yall finish acting like yall don't know wtf: The handlers will LOVE that narrative....
I'm proud of her for having known where her safe spaces wereNOT and sparing herself the trauma, so she disassociated with those of you who WERE willing to sell your souls (for whatever reasons): and she's too sweet to say it LIKE YALL NEED TO HEAR IT. Plus, it would ruffle too many feathers with which the rest of you are aligned.
I know it's unheard of TO MOST OF YALL, but there are actually few COGNIZANT folks who aren't eager to be pimped by soopreemazzy's indokktrination institutions for a seat at THEIR table. Speaking of that table, EVERYONE HERE KNEW EXACTLY WTF SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN SHE SAID 6:34.... AND ALL OF YOU KNOW IT -- *THAT's THE REALLLL GAG* : the fact that the masses ENABLE it in silence.
I'm happy for her and thankful to her Parent/s for the integrity with which they (clearly) raised her and I pray her reunited connections don't pull her back into some phukkshyt ON THEIR/yalls' HANDLERS' TERMS.

I found it amusing how Capitol kept her on the roster - despite gutting their urban music division. Adding insult to injury was they released albums that didn't do well because of that. Notable examples include: Miilkbone's "Da Milkrate" and Aceyalone's "All Balls Don't Bounce". This is sad considering the label's long and successful history with R&B in the 70's and 80's.

If Tracy stayed, she would have been like Ariana Grande, Beyonce or Britney Spears. But she chose to be a nobody. Shanice just didn't understand how the music industry works. She should have trusted the musical talent crew and just do their music and not try to do other stuff that people will not like. I just don't understand why these women think it is so important to get married and have babies.... and don't care about money.

~ Is that Phonte? If so, NC Stand up. 🙌
Love these two ladies. Big history here. I’d say the predecessors of the Brandy/Monica generation.

S/N: Shout out to Soulshock and Karlin. I literally just spoke to Carsten about his major influence on R&B/Pop and how much I love and miss Maxee’s voice.
I didn’t know they were behind Ms. Spencer’s last project.
    Wow. 🤍
