FACTS!
People truly forget that Tracie, Shanice, and Stacey Lattisaw were some of the first R&B teen queens! Aaliyah, Brandy, and Monica were the last because to this day, no one did or does it like any of these incredibly talented women did.
I would love a documentary about how women in R&B evolved from the beginnings in the 20s-60s and up to the 70s-90s. It can stop after that time period because music now is complete sh*t smh 🤦♂️

No theatrics. No sex-selling. Just...Pure...Vocals. It was a different time. Nothing wrong with what they are doing now if that works for you but just a different time. Listen to Shanice's "Wanna Hear Say" and tell me those aren't powerhouse vocals on a powerhouse ballad! Totally Underrated and Underappreciated!♥

My 90s school age heart LITERALLY skipped a beat seeing Tracie Spencer & Shanice😍 I remember seeing the IG post of them reuniting... Thank God cause these ladies were EVERYTHING, & paved the way for the teen queens Brandy & Monica, & Family Matters was my FAV show growing up😘
Tracie has no clue about who stayed checking for her because“Love Me” was my ish and remained in my rotation. I sing in my brush at least once a week to that song!

NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! Tracie Spencer is BACK!!! I first discovered Tracie back in the summer of 1999 with "It's All About You (Not About Me)" and I thought this girl is awesome!!! I had no idea she had been around since 1988 and had some huge hits like "Tender Kisses" and "This House". What a privilege and an honor it is to see her back and I hope she has a great new comeback in music.

These two were the most adorable in the 90's. Let me tell you how I LISTEN to Shanice (It's for you) till the point the minute I come on UA-cam for the day, her song pops up. I listen to it on a "loop" for hours daily. LOL So who ever channel uploaded the extended version is getting tons of views for SURE based off my having the song in a loop. LOL
