Olympic Melo will always be goated. I wanted him to win an NBA title but that Olympic gold medal probably hit different for him and I respect that. Also, Roundball Rock didnt hit the same when Fox played it for their college basketball coverage the last few years. Hearing it on NBC's coverage of the Olympics made it feel and sound better

Who else but Melo olympian always been great superstar, but I feel like Brian has been overshadow and Melo as far as the NBA career, but this Olympics we really got to see how much Melo means to basketball internationally, and as a whole, the respect he has from his peers and the energy he brought to that Serbia game in our friends game is what I feel like lit a fire under team USA
