Pay more attention to the rubber than the wheel size. Playing with BMW's online configurator (at least here in Europe) you can choose between low rolling resistance and high performance tires. Those high performance tires can reduce range by typically 40 miles. Wheel size alone might change it 5-10 miles.

I think in the tesla if you make ite rear wheel drive it doesnt have all the power in the rear wheels only the power of the rear motor so its not the same as the M and amg cars but still fun i guess

But, the noises are stupid and gimmickry; it’s one of the main things I hate about EVs. Also, as an audiophile, all the fake noises are useless when I have the stereo on almost all the time when I drive.

Great video! Four years ago I bought an e46 m3 competition cuz of your old videos (incl plenty of hours watching e39 m5 videos as comparison). I am so close to buying one of these now but I’ll stick with Tesla a few more years.
Order it now. I preordered my i4M50 in August 21 in Germany. 3 weeks ago i got the information my car won´t be delivered in 2022 :(. Biggest disappointment in a long time. They couldn´t even tell me when i´ll get my car in 2023. I now ordered a Tesla MYP. Produced in Germany it will be ready in August 22. So if you order the BMW now.... you still have enough time to enjoy the Tesla for at least 2 more years :). I drove the I4M50 a whole day. Building quality, the silence inside the car and the ride quality is another league and not anything like a Tesla. But Tesla can deliver and they still cost about 20.000 € less in Germany. But if you can afford it... get it.

@@footballfav01 thats why i kept the BMW order. I got 10% discount from my BMW dealer and we have 7500 € government promotion if you buy an electric vehicle. So it was 72000 instead of 90000 € (so its only 12000 more than the MYP). Unfortunatly i will lose 5000 € when the car isnt delivered in 2022. But as u said. Either i keep the Tesla and sell the BMW... or i sell the Tesla and keep the BMW. It will be no problem selling both cars for more. Teslas from Germany often get sold to Norway or Denmark. Maybe i should keep em both....we will see how long the war in ukraine will last and how economy will be affected the next 12 months. Nevertheless the BMW is a great GT. Comfortable...silent....fast enough for most Porsches (at least in a straight line :)). I bet you wont regret buying it, Take a test drive and you will see.

Sorry that’s not a 2023 model. It’s a 2022. 2023 models are built in the factory after the cut off date of July 2022. So it’s impossible that you would have a 2023.

What is it you don’t like about the design and what makes you think it’s old fashioned? What is wrong with an electric drivetrain sharing the same chassis as other drivetrains?
What’s wrong with having buttons? Do you not like having well designed tactile easy to reach controls instead of just one big screen? Touchscreen displays have their place but people generally like tactility and the ability to reach something without having to always look or go through menus on a screen.

Quite simply the larger the wheel the lower the range. 19 inch will give you better range than 20 inch
