Let me know what yall think! Longest video yet😅but it's basically ten flights packed into one.
The GoPro is just curse’s our brains man. That was too ironic 😂 I felt that struggle. I forgot my sd card yesterday for a flight at hat creek rim haha
Really good content dude! Great job!
Awesome stuff
Loved it man... good job it was awesome to watch.
Fantastic flight!
That, Mark, was truly epic. Those that don’t fly a paramotor cannot really appreciate just what an achievement this was. Big respect from England.
Not a paramotor pilot here, just curious, why is it difficult? Is it the cold or is it that your limbs get numb/hurt from the harness/seat? I do long distance motorcycling from time to time and when my fuel is running low, I thank whichever God for that gas station stop lol
I never realized humans could give birth to birds, but apparently I did. ❤
😅
I’ve never flown a para glider but have made my living flying fixed and rotor wings for the past 39 years. When you landed at the EDE airport I thought to myself how familiar it looked as you walked up the steps of the old base building. I immediately knew where you landed. I flew UPS contract freight from 1989 to 1993 from RDU to EDE to MQI 6 days a week. I watched the sunrise hundreds of mornings over Roanoke island and the outer banks. I still live in eastern NC and fly out of RDU. Always wanted to try one of those things. I’m enjoying watching your channel. Safe flying.
I really like the cross-country adventure flying content.
When I looked into doing this 20 years ago 20 mph was considered a "fast" wing... Even with a tail wind that mileage is impressive !!
Mark, this video is simply epic. The visuals were incredible!
455 miles is a lot to drive in one day. Paramtoring that much in a day is ridiculous.
Tail number 007 at the pump 🤣
That was a cracking video, a real pilots pilot effort. Fantastic endurance, really brave flying over the ‘boonies’ and amazing views. As good as any Icarus video. As a nitro owner I was impressed with both the reliability and efficiency. A great job
Congratulations! Nice flying, apparently no motor-outs or other gear problems. Just pure air time. Nice video and well narrated. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome trip. Well edited video. Good story. Amazing scenery. Expert aviating. What else can we ask for?
Awesome trip! Thanks for taking us along!
Like the cross country flying video and your thought process as you go. Beautiful scenery also.
I freakin love it bro! Not much excites me these days but when i seen this a few months ago, I’ve been hooked since. Safe travels!
Hey Richard, some questions:
1. How do you ensure you don't crash into a plane?
2. Can you take short naps in b/w?
3. How do you attend to Nature's calls?
Which Gps app do you use. İ want to know.
Love this longer format when you have an adventure like this! Like the details of XC flight too.
Whats the name of that cool software showing your gps location and alevation path in the video?
Avare for Android only
Just started watching can’t wait! It’s like you did your own mini wing man challenge. Hell yeah!
sick xc. when I saw your post on paramotor I assumed it has Harley. lol . I was just in Rodanthe camping with the family. in your video I could see the koa campground I was staying at and also the little islands I was doing touch and goes on. I flew to kitty hawk while I was there as well. video is up on my youtube.
Are you still in the military? Nice hair man! 👍
Nice flight , I enjoyed the flight. Good luck , fly safe and have fun. Thanks.
ALLIGATOR REFUGEEEEEEES
Fantastic! So much eye candy, drama about having enough fuel, jet airliners flying below you wow.
Greatk bold adventure!
All paramotor guys have a thing for McDonald's 😂
seems that way. rarely eat it, but put a paramotor on my back and it's game on
Looks like an awesome place to fly, ...How did the falcon handle turbulence?
Very well! Went through most of it trimmed out.
Came across your video, awesome dude. Love every minute of it. You really inspire me to really want to try this awesome adventure but the damn heights and equipment cost might tell me nope, nope.😅
Loved it. Is it even permissible to make a PPG UA-cam video and not include Ross?
Negative
Im pretty sure you flew over my house hahah it was awesome. Ive been wanting to get into paramotoring
You flew right over Murpy. My Mom lives there, so I've flown in that area a few times. Gotta love those smoky mountains.
Awesome video of the mountains!!!
Awesome trip Mark. Haven’t watched anything of yours for a while because that Tucker bloke has been stealing my youtube time with his Base Jumping shenanigans!! Looking great out there. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Great video work BTW.
I like watching you better than Tucker, you have 10 times the personality 💯
I’m impressed how short you can be airborne, you sure make it look fun, what is average speed?
Excellent, can you make a video of how you mad your helmet? Pleaseeee.
One of the best paradventures I've seen! Great vid n good flying.
Thanks!
Dare County Airport was ready for you, they had an 18 wheeler waiting for you 😊
What is your audio setup?
Microavionics. Galaxy earbuds for extra hearing protection
Epic! And you did it without a chasing car and alone! Greetings from Europe!
I assume you were in contact with ATC when you were above those airliners?
This video deserves a lot more views than it's getting. Outstanding work!
I appreciate it!
Why were you in Fayetteville NC?
Asking for a friend lol
Hella fun watching.
Stay Dangerous
Godspeed and Blessings
You can use DRONES transponders as well so atc can see you in radar keep other planes from mid Air collisions because of your slow speed as are BLIMPS you by regulations has the RIGHT of way from other traffic !!1!
*Do you ever get in Trouble with the "'Air Traffic Control People"'*
*telling you that.. You're In Our Airliner Pathway??*
I am also a fellow pilot, but have never flown cross country like you have. Props to you.
Awesome flight! Thanks for sharing this!
I watch this before, but it’s fun to watch it again too. It’s pretty relaxing and enjoyable.
My parents used to live in Southport, which is basically the extreme south east of North Carolina, but they were inland 3 miles now they live in Florida, but like North Carolina better. There’s more family in Florida though.
I like it, epic video. I got the Speedster 3, 42-45 MPH, trimmed. out speed zero wind, tip top of the wing load. 185-V on a Trike with a 24-meter wing. I can go 75 to 100 miles on 4.7 gallons of fuel depending on head-wind. I'd like to do that one day looks like a lot of fun. Some super-great views all so. Cameras do not do the views justice, nothing beats the view from a paramotor. What editing program are you using? I like it.
It is very inspiring
Next time you decide to fly NC, Statesville NC has an airport.😊
Hi guys
My Idea is to fly / glide from london UK to zadar CRO next summer... so i hope I can manage to record all... since I do all by myself without backup... there are 2 issues... 1. british channal and 2. the ALPS mountain range in Austria... If i do not die on that way ill lecha now
Always loved your x/c flying. Informative and I feel like I'm flying with you.Keep up the good videos.
You're having some bad luck there
Look I am new here so forgive the stupid questions. Why do you not have a collapsible bladder of the same size as your tank so you can put in a known amount of oil, fill it with gas. carry only the bladder back to the motor and fill tank. Put the last 1-2 Liters in your pack for emergencies. Carrying the motor to the station is not practical and landing at the station as I have seen you do several times is going to get you in serious trouble one of these days.
Love the videos. f k i n EPIC
Very cool looking down on my state from one end to the other. Great job...
If they made a 4-stroke motor light enough to carry on back, the Fuel Mileage would be 2-3 times better--Hopefully someone will design one in near Future...
Very cool to see what goes into a trip like that. I would’ve been physically exhausted after the first fuel stop. Ha.
It's the 2nd successful one that got me.
Quite the epic journey!
You flew close to my house on the first flight.
This is neat to see!
Great video, loving the current cross country videos as well. I recognised the gas station where you crossed the fence. I used to work on that flashing light over the intersection.
Frying pan tower was really cool as well. Longer sections of scenery with music please.
Great adventure Mark.
Congrats, that's got to be at least one record. Very enjoyable to watch and extremely impressive, that's an epic couple days of flying.
How long would it take to get from Greensboro to Myrtle Beach?
Well executed airmanship all while staying within the envelope of safety. Although not yet rated for Paramotors, I wonder if the new Flair Moustache 15m would be more efficient? More airspeed, but more fuel to keep you aloft? Great adventure!
Problem is no trims on the Moustache. You always have to be hands on or else you're at full speed
What do you have to do in terms of permissions, registration, advanced notice etc. To be able to do a trip like this?
Okay, this is on my bucket list. It's the last thing in my list and do to expense, it may be in there forever. Anyway, it's it fun to so a lob distance trip on one?
And do you have to keep in touch with local airports?
This can be an excellent way to smuggle drugs. 😂
Hell ya dude. Love it. Need more Honeycutt youtube in my life 🤙
I have a question does the Airport know that you're coming ahead and where did you sleep
What is the name of the app that you use that tracks your flight in 3D?
My beach house is in rodanthe. Well it was, sold last year. Darnit
10:51 initiating a low turn near some obvious rotor generators... come on man. stay alive, please. glad you kept it in, but maybe chat a bit about how this has killed fellow paramotor pilots.
Genuinely saw my house in one shot. You should have waved!
Much love and miss you guys! Incredible video! Would love to see you do California straight across from Lake Tahoe, but I gotta think that would be tricky and you'd need the perfect weather or the haze in the valley would suck. Anyways, we'd pick you up and put ya'll up. 😉
Thanks for the offer
Neat to see the carolina skies & territory. The refuge has a large Black Bear population & is a great place to see them live. tfs
Oh sweet. See tons at my house in WNC, too
name of the 3d program men!!! love your vids
175g is definitely the one. Your Pumpkin looks like mine. About time for a new one.
agreed!
Flat Earth Confirmed😂
Ps your trip is recorded on the 9. octobre >>> My b day...
What is procedure to not come in the way of airplanes and so on..?
Friend, you have one hell of an awesome hobby!
how do you deal with the heavy winds? and heavy turbulence?
Great Video
Looking forward to seeing more
Did your body fare well any leg numbness od feet swelling lower back pain trouble walking, how'd you walk after this hard day my brother. I hope me too. Maybe I can fly someday soon like you.
Thanks for this incredible vid
David
No issues during the day. A little soreness in the hip flexors two days later.

Some of that makes sense it's a long time in the saddle so to speak; ever consider the Icarus race? As you're still young I'd love to try it it takes some hanging it out there for sure, I may believe you've seen Tucker Gotts account of his race on UA-cam. Pretty tight airspace and some high passes. But it be fun best if it were a buddy system he ran fuel bladders which I believe were water bottles but the body functions part would be a bit rough on could 1 perhaps but the other well you know. It looks kind of cool to do multiple days and set up rural airports and out away from tight quarters fuel refills at gas stations it be interesting for sure, you certainly have the aviation and paramotor experience but to do it? You'd kind of race car your paramotor engine and it be ready for an overhaul or half way there in what is it 5 days of dawn to dusk go as far as you can. But I admire your life mission more than that guy definitely his speech and swearing has really gone downhill of recent
, perhaps bad friends corrupt good morals who know young me without a knowledge of our Father & His Son wise men still seek Him.
Best thanks
David
What app are you using to track and plan flight path?
How long have ya been flying and whats ot cost to get started
That was oldfort McDonald's
i think you are high enough for the both of us...🌱🌿🔥🌬💨💨🍻
Amazing trip, Mark! Thanks for the video!
Bill
I was thinking of getting one of these and trying this
Awesome adventure Mark, quite a trip, Congrats!
So beautiful and underrated
if a bought one thats my privet jet
He maintains it better than Boeing;
how often do u replace the wing or the wire?
Epic my dude!!
Thanks yo
Wow!
Just wow!
You are scared
Terrific adventure. Well done Mark.
