This one's a big one! We cross Utah in a single day in only two flights totalling 7.2 hours of seat time and over 385 miles. A lot of craziness happens in this video - 87 mph groundspeed, biggest mountains yet, Caleb attempting to pee from his harness, a crash, crossing a munitions depot and the Great Salt Lake, and a motor out resulting in a huge glide! Don't forget to watch the other two videos as well 🙂... and if I didn't make it obvious, we landed in Idaho for our 1st campsite of the trip. Also, everyone go like this review at the Sublett Fuel Stop where we camped out. It would be hilarious to blow the review up! maps.app.goo.gl/4kLtSN1eWoFjc52Y8
Mark, I've been an on and off follower since your very early days of para-motoring. I have to say of all the guys I follow, you've always been the guy that does the coolest stuff. No I'm not talking about super high risk silly stuff, rather I speak of the most interesting stuff. This series has been outstanding. The voice overs combined with the real time audio has been excellent. The video views are spectacular as well. How you don't have a million subs is beyond me. I'm also a big fan of Chucky Wright. You guys just get it done. It's been great so far. I'm looking forward to the final installments. Cheers from Chicago guys, thanks for making and sharing this outstanding content.
Congratulations to you guys. I’m looking forward to the next video. I’ve been flying for three years now and have never taking any kind of trip. After watching this, I think I need to.
Cheers 🎉 Great day of flying! You crossed right over property I own in Cedar City. I flew that Delta airport with ol Woody Hayes. High desert winds can smack that wing! Love flying Utah. The Stansbury Island at GSL you flew over has some great soaring ridges too. Looks like your last stop near Idaho is right by another Paragliding site. Ahh those mountains are amazing… thanks for taking me back to Utah…flying paradise ❤🎉
Mark , wow , just wow, the video footages was perfect , the close up shots showed the atitudes you was at , big wide and up close from thousands of feet . I loved the scenery . Too bad you didn't foot drag Trevor steels camp while over Utah. lol
Great video. I can't believe you called out a bro on a poo break! 🙂 The scenery is amazing and the experience it takes to make this kind of journey is evident. Thanks for sharing.
This was really nice content to watch, Mark. Your tone is comfortable to listen to for the 22min installment. Seventeen gusting twenty-five is WAY more than I'd ever launch at. Nice work all three of you.
Oh I don't want to know what a slight success is 😂. Great series. Been watching ur paramotor vids since 2017. You are perhaps the best most genuine person in this segment. You had my vote for winner of icarus years ago if you entered.
Thanks for watching so long! I would have liked to do it but I'm also pretty cheap. I can fly across the country for less money than it takes to do the Icarus
Outstanding filming and story telling. Thank you for bringing me along. I’ve shared with my friends and look forward to your upcoming videos and the conversations they’ll generate with my friends. Best to you and yours.
Oh my gosh.!! I was rolling when you guys were landing and celebrating. Then you said, I’m not walking with you though. 🤣🤣 couldn’t stop laughing but sad for your amigo. ☺️ love your content brother. 👌🏼🙏🏼
Inspiring trip, epic content well put together! Thank you for reminding me I need to get off my ass and do some more cross country! Glad Chuck didn't have to walk after the epic glide! Looking forward to the next installment!
Loved seeing more than the flying, the logistics side is interesting and cool to see, people helping you and whatnot. I always wonder if regular pilots ask questions like regular people. Digging this series dude, next video in a couple weeks I assume. Can't wait! You guys are crazy in the best possible way
The place you stopped at at the end, is one of the gas stations Tucker Gott stopped at on his 2nd day. That was a huge piece of terrain to cover in one day. You guys were cruising.
Mark, your videos are awesome!!! But, please be careful up there. It’s too bad nobody has come up with a way to cut the canopy free and parachute down in an emergency situation. Idea? Also, the video where you flew in to that abandoned amusement park was awesome. I wish you didn’t have to rush though. I can’t wait to see where you go next.
I'm strongly considering something like this myself. Probably from California to Rhode Island. Though lack of experience, planning, and companions suggest I probably shouldn't.
that gas station you stopped at and camped was it the Sublett Fuel Stop gas station is 36.1 miles from where I live So you guys have a safe flight also here in Idaho its not illegal to land a light plane on the road and pull it into a gas station for gas
Mark the level of plan and hanging it out there; Way to go stud. What was your limbs leg after sitting in paramotor did you cramp or go numb any pain it's like a motorcycle long ride you cant get up and get out of position for long periods. Great milage times is it bivy vs tent weight that gave you more fuel left I legs of flight or was it motor power plant and wing? How did you got better fuel economy?
I was active duty 8 years. CW2. Flew blackhawks. The patch was from Korea. You should get into it. I was always flying helis, wondering where i'd be flying paramotors later that day
So if you had no headwind what would your max range be with the fuel load you carry? Also do you ever stop to ride an obvious thermal for extra free altitude or is it just not worth it?
This is one hell of a trip & you ended up in my neck of the woods, I fly a gyro in SE Idaho. I presumed you flew up I-15 but I don't recognize that gas station, where was that?
Man, I need some new friends lol. All mine want to do is stand around and drink while they talk about work or their latest home remodeling project. Barely into my 30's and I already feel old around them.
Hah I'm almost 33. Find the right crowd. Start by getting into paramotoring and you'll find a bunch of flying friends and fly-ins to attend. However, I did spend a while installing a new dishwasher today 😮💨

I've been so excited for this one! Great job on the sizzle edit and humanity capture.
@@brianbuckner1787 Thank you sir
Lol, gas running out on final glide was hilarious 😄
Mark, being a fixed-wing pilot, I don't know how you guys have the patience to fly paramotors on a cross country like this. Truly an adventure ...
How you answer your on questions
We can watch a movie on the way, watch some porn have fap😂,plenty to do
I fly a 150...similar ground speeds 🤣
Calling out your boy for a long poop at 7:22. Constipation is no laughing matter, it hurts. 😂
He just didn't want to try and take off again with the extra weight!

Sitting in my back garden in Bournemouth UK, comfortably watching this amazing film!! 😊😊
That’s absolute gold that he makes it to the fuel station! Loving the videos, great editing!
I just watched this for the second time, epic!! Can’t wait for the next video Mark 😁

I think timing or route didn't work out. We were talking with him
This is such a epic, can't wait to see the next one. Amazing scenery
We've been waiting for #3. Thanks!
You guys are nuts, in a good way!
This reminds me so much of Tucker's Icarus race and I absolutely love it. The views are insane. Jealous as hell.
I think this is better than tuckers videos for a lot of different reasons.
Number one being they are just doing this to do it. No race or anything.
Great video. I can't believe you called out a bro on a poo break! 🙂 The scenery is amazing and the experience it takes to make this kind of journey is evident. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome adventure gents.
The series was amazing! I haven't read the comments to find out why you didn't end it but whatever lol it was still awesome.

I bet flying over mountains can be sketchy but it still looks cool!
Great job guys👍
Thats hilarious. Peeing from that high up. 😂
Thanks for taking us along with you guys! Keep it coming!
Amazing flight. Can't wait the next episode.
Pretty awesome guys. Keep up the great adventure!

Our trip was pretty close to Icarus plus 1000 miles.
Insane ! Thanks for sharing, love some good adventuring videos :)
I live in Grantsville just north of that depot where they store explosives. We hear them detonate stuff all the time.
Dude what an inincredible journey!!!! So cool!!!!
Alright! Been waiting for it!
Such an awesome video dude

Much love cuz! Let us know if you ever end up near Tahoe/Reno.
Great stuff!!!!!!
4 hr flight to land within 100 yards of the gas station is just wild.
Great vid!
Great stuff !!
DUDE! Too funny, I’ve actually stopped at that gas station before! 😂😂😂😂
OMG, I had like 3 big, belly laughs this vid. Can't stop thinking of Chuck pooping.
Good one, thanks.
Good stuff guys !!
This is awesome
So awesome !
what you guys are doing is super cool, I wanna do this one day
Congrats from Italy!
Epic.
Estimating the fuel to within 4.8 miles, nice.
pissed off has a whole new meaning!
Amazing experience Mark. Keep a look out for tension knots before speed bar.
We aren't using bar. These are foot rests to make the long hours more comfortable.
Hell yeah man I want to get a para motor
Well Done

Really liking this series, Its getting me interested in paramotoring. Are you a 60 pilot or a crewchief? I assume you're also in the ANG?

@@MarkHuneycutt Ok, thanks. You went up I-84.
I flat out think your insane , but sane is overrated ! do like your videos though , new sub here dude
Hey bro, can you go to Antarctica? thanks
👍👍👍👍
Are there any physical effects from being at altitude for that long each day?
Sick Edit.
For some the music is an afterthought..
But Music Matters!!
Will there be an east to west?
First like :)
A 4.8 mile glide ? With no gas cool

How do you deal with other air traffic and they deal with you?
We agree to not hit them if they don't hit us.
Hello
Note to self: carry FiberFix tape
Peeing and flying, lol! Like peeing in a hurricane.
Somehow it worked. It was very difficult to relax, but nothing got on the harness. 😅
That's not rain!!! 😅

remind me not to assume water dropplet are signs that it's about to rain...
Why not wait for days with very strong winds at altitude and let the winds rush you through half the US in one day?
That's basically what we did tho. Wind was higher than our airspeed for a lot of the first half of the trip.
@@CalebJohnsonlivingca thanks. One of my life goals is to buy a paramotor and see just how far I can fly in a day with crazy winds.
@@Tch5802 with a wind like the one below, a large gas tank, and an efficient wing, you could go very far:
