All these reasons you guys mentioned are exactly why I hate driving those garbage internationals. I drive one as a company driver and hate everything about it, especially all the beeping noise it makes, it’s very aggravating!
I recently and reluctantly purchased an International LT for my fleet back in September of 2023. It has the x15 and a 13 speed manual. So far so good. We had a nox sensor failure right out of the gate, and had to replace all 6 shocks relatively quickly. Also, the regulator inside the air dryer that pressurizes the secondary system went bad, so our AMU lost function for dumping the bags, sliding the fifth wheel, etc. But once we figured out it was an air supply issue, we fixed it and it's been working well. Our truck has the sloppy steering as well. It just feels loose, like you can't tell when you're actually up against the tension in the steering components. When I was driving it home from the dealer, I noticed that the ruts in the road would grab it and throw it around a lot more than other trucks which was pretty unsettling at first. But overall, I can't say I'm too dissatisfied with it, especially considering the price point. I'm working on getting our units over to a standardized truck for ease of parts stock and other logistical conveniences and International is a serious consideration because of the a la carte specing and I think it'll be easier to get them with a manual and no traffic mitigation systems on them. Thanks for the video.
Hey guys! I have a 2024 Mack anthem. I don’t have the lane departure warning on my truck as you guys have on yours, but what we have is the Bendix wingman fusion system, which reads the speed limit signs while going down the road. The beef that I have with mine, is that it reads the speed limit sign at an exit, and it beeps at me, thinking that I am speeding because of the speed limit sign showing at an offramp, lol! I believe that if it beeps at me after the fifth or six time, it automatically deactivates itself, until I shut the truck off and turn the key back on again, lol! It’s a real pain in the ass to have these “safety systems“ in our trucks. I’d like to know who the genius was that came up with this idea in the first place. Anyhow, you guys take care and God bless.
Our truck does a similar thing. But the vovlo we had was just like the Mack feature you are talking about!!! We find it very annoying. It says I have excessively speed every day 😆 🤣 we want to know who designed them as well. Make them live in the truck for 6 weeks as team. They will go mad!!!!! I wish I had a solution to offer 😕 you guys be safe and be blessed
havent driven new one older ones broke down but were very comfy compare to freightliner i like petes my company truck 579 2016 not great maintenance engime lights on as long as i rejen every once in while no issues
Mitigation systems lower your alertness or awareness..it makes you rely on the system, taking away your own do diligence to look around you on a regular basis. Not to mention annoying, activates when it sees a bridge column.
That is so awesome and I just came across your channel and absolutely love how the videos are and also great Christian couples doing trucking also I do remember when I was trucking that I had an 2020 Volvo vnl760 and had issues with the truck straight also and when you mentioned RoadDog’s i listen to it also definitely do miss trucking both my wife and I do and also my wife has severe asthma and CPTSD also
Welcome to the family!!! So sorry to hear your wife's health also suffers. Sending prayers. If you listen in to road dog you may just hear me!!! I have been a guest more regularly. What toke y'all off the road?
I have 10yrs truck cdl OTR and my wife just got laid off and thought about getting cdls. What's the best option for team driving position since she's just beginner after getting her cdl?
Will your company allow her to ride along with you for a month and can you afford her to? I would highly recommend trying that first. If you have Facebook or Instagram send us a private message. Links are in the video descriptions. Praying for y'all during this season in life. Here to help work through the decision
If you have Facebook or Instagram send us a message we will love to help you work thru the details to help y'all make the best decision to have the biggest success. Sending prayers during this new season
@@jasonswift7098 they got the truck back in spring of 2023, as a 2024 model. That’s how they got the miles on it as team drivers. I’ve got a 2024 Mack Anthem with 75K miles on it and I’ve had it since June 2023.
Thanks for helping set the facts straight guys!!! Team driving makes a big difference! And the route we are on is easier than last year. We do 5,000 miles a week. Here is our original video posted May,12th ua-cam.com/video/V8gqwjFe0Sk/v-deo.html

Get a LT with the new S13 powertrain. It'll be a lot better.

I love my LT.
Paccar '24 models are crap aswell.
Woooohoooo 🎉✊🏽
A truck that hits the brakes automatically is bad enough. But to jerk the steering wheel…. No way I’d drive that ! Nope ! Nope !
Technology is really ruining trucking.... 😒
👍
Welcome to "time.to trade it in!!" LMAO
🤣 if it was only that easy
BS there is no way on earth you have done 200,000miles/322,000kms in only 3 1/2 months of this year!
She didn’t say THIS year. She said the truck isn’t yet a year old.
@@brendawohlfeil6150 If its a 2024 model its only 3 1/2 months old! its not a 2023 model
