    Wow! Probably the best m200 review I have ever watched. I'm having this wired feeling watching these amazing photos coming out of such a tiny, affordable model. Thank you so much for the review. I finally bought the M200.

    I sold 2k worth of gear, after selling 7k worth of gear, after selling 35k worth of gear. I went from canon to leica and back again. This camera is probably the single best mirrorless camera ever made. The only thing I dont like about it is all rectified in the m6II.
    The m200 in the hands of an experienced photog is deadly..

    There is a USB port that allows for a USB to mic input cable to plug in any mic.

      Thanks, you are the second person to point this out. Don't know if you will see this comment two years from this video.

    You are spot on. I’m searching for an edc. Can you suggest a lens for edc and travel?

      For me to do everything I love the big zooms but I live at the long end of the zoom for wildlife. Basically the 18-400 tamron is a great do eveything lens. It is amazing sharp, good colors, and have used it for everything. One lense to rule them all. I now have the 100-400 canon RF F.8 and that is super light as well but need another short lens for wide angle and portraits. You could probably get much everything done with a 18-45 and a 100-400 + TC. My r10 wildlife setup is 900mm in a super light weight package.

    A much more useful review coming from a dedicated photographer. There's a flood of beginner vloggers reviewing this camera... Not so helpful. So thank you!

    Thanks for the great review. I watched this video and got one :)
    New to wildlife photography. Any more lens options that we can pair with canon m200? I am thinking of getting EFM 200mm lens now and then upgrade to Sigma 150-600.

      Generally the lens length or zoom dictates what type of wildlife you want to photograph. You 200mm 300mm bigger animals and if they are patient. 600mm and longer generally birds or shy bigger animals. Most people find an affordable 70-300 sigma or the 18-400 tamron a nice flexible lens. Hope this helps.

    Ditched the EOS RP and the Fuji X-S10 because i cant take them anywhere anytime i like. Carrying them became a commitment, having a young kid with autism. I got my like new M200 so cheap for just around $375! (Includes kit lens, Sigma 30mm f1.4, new Peak Design bag and strap as well as a better 64gb MC). I am just looking for a 22mm f2.0 and I'm never selling this set up.

      M200 is a great camera... SO Underrated It a small sensor box with a screen and you can do just about anything you want with it. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Stafford, would you recommend this as a replacement for something like a Nikon A1000? I've been using the A1000 for about 6 months now and I've been overly frustrated with it. I was able to get some good shots and become much better as a photographer but after I got my P1000 I'm just not able to use the A1000 without being frustrated with the focusing on it. You've given me great advice before and I was hoping you could tell me if you'd prefer to carry something like this over a point and shoot camera. I would like to have something small that I can set up for time-lapse shots or even simple B-Roll video, or even something to carry in my car so I can take some good shots while going on a drive without pulling out the big P1000. The one thing I will say is that the A1000 has been a great camera for taking pictures of family or small things along those lines, as I do not have a smart phone. However, as mentioned before I am considering ditching the A1000 for various reasons (some personal) and I would appreciate your input. Thanks Stafford. I greatly appreciate your wisdom.

      Yes the focus of the a1000 is tough. You need good light or be patient and keep trying. The m200 is the swiss army knife. Awesome image quality just like DSLRs. So sadly if you want reach you will need to pair it with longer and bigger glass. If you can check out my backyard birding video I do shots with that as well. The M200 without lens is pocketable. If you want to add lenses long lenses you will need an M adapter mount which is like 150 to 200. The lens 600mm equivalent you can try the Tamron 18-400mm which gets you 640mm field of view. Put on a sigma 150-600 and you get 960mm view. So for close ups portraits you can buy a 50mm f1.8 with adapter and get crazy good photos. Just be warned that it does cost more money because you have to keep adding glass. Thou to me like I said it could do probably 90% of what I do with a super small footprint. Focus is pretty fast especially with smaller native m mount lenses. Can not really help out much more.

    Hey, Hi just had a query so if we use a adapter with it to mount my 50mm 1.8 lense, will it reduce the quality of the photos?

    • @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE
      @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE  Рік тому +1

      nope, it is all good. There is nothing between the 50mm and the sensor things look just as sharp the mount is just different.

    M200 pics comparable to iPhone using kit lens?

    • @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE
      @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE  10 місяців тому +1

      I would say better than the iphone... They are super clean but have more detail. Depends on how you inspect them. I have iphone pics you cant really tell it was from an Iphone but if you deep dive into it you see the sharping and lack of detail and resolution. Just an FYI. Also the M200 and m mount are stopping production.

    Shame it doesn't have stabilization. I suppose one has to be certain the lens you buy does have it. Do most lenses have stabilization?

    • @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE
      @MAKE_PHOTOGRAPHS_ANYWHERE  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Brian most do ! The smaller lenses do not but not much of an issue when considering the length of the lens. The 18-400 and 150-600 for the most part work well. Thanks again for watching !
