My son was born premature October of 2022, 35 weeks and spent 2 weeks in the nicu. the nurses told us when he was discharged that since the holidays were around the corner to be careful taking him out because it was RSV season. im just south of Tampa about a mile from the bay. River is at the end of our street. We looked for a year before we bought our property and finally found 3 acres 67 feet above sea level so we were spared flooding. Our big danger is oak trees...we're in the middle of the woods and did not remove any more trees than had to make room for the house. We were blessed and had no trees or even limbs down this time. all around is flooded and west of us the sewer plant was damaged so they have no drain ban for shower or washing or toilet. Many are still without electric but our power flickered about 6 PM, came right back on before the generator even kicked on and has been on since. We are thankful.
How can someone who has previously had gastric bypass surgery be consistently consuming the quantities of highly processed foods that she does? And why does she give no consideration to the quality of her milk( if she’s actually breast feeding)? She only eats junk, she won’t be able to run around and physically play with Anderson when he gets older.
She’s not exclusively breast feeding him (if at all) she’s bottle feeding him in this vlog, whether it’s water or milk I don’t know. She’s only concerned with what Alex wants, so I doubt she even thinks how her breast milk quality might affect the baby.

I guess breastfeeding isn't a thing. I'm about half way through the video but did she even say anything about it? Breastfeeding is hard we all know this and knew she wouldn't do it for long.
I doubt she breastfed or pumped at all, honestly. She just mentioned/pretended for long enough to get people off her back about immediately going to formula on order to sleep through the nights.
Did anyone notice how she got more dressed up and put more effort into her appearance for the fall festival with her mom than she did for date night with her husband for his birthday? It must be so confusing for him to see her get to dressed up and actually do her hair for work content and going out with her mom but then dress down and barely make an effort for their "couple time." 👀
I’m originally from the Wash DC area (technically the suburbs of Maryland). It’s definitely still hot in September. By October there is Fall cooling happening. I miss home like crazy. I live in the south now and our ‘summers’ last at least 8 solid months a year. It’s not fit for human habitation- even with AC. 🥵🥵🥵
I can relate. I was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. Moved to India ten years ago. It is over 100 degrees for nine months of the year. Two months of cold. And we have no ac 😕 missing autumn.
Still trying to find fall stuff to do since moving here from Mass? Moving where Alex? You've never said you moved out of state? One of your other lies by omission.

if I eat breakfast it spikes my blood sugar and then I’m ravenous the rest of the day. I don’t eat anything until lunchtime.. not sure why these fat women don’t get the correlation between eating a bunch of shit in the morning and intense cravings for rest of day.
Me yelling at the screen for you to skip when the dog sponsor part was coming on 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Just the idea of a sloppy joe casserole from her makes me sick lol
I am in no way a fan of Alex, but comments like this really bother me. This is a tiny snippet of her day with her baby. She’s allowed to talk to others while feeding her kid, even if it is a camera. We don’t know that she doesn’t just stare and talk with him when she’s feeding him when she’s not vlogging. Again, I am in no way a fan of hers but comments like this are just a lot.
So both my sisters got pregnant around the same time in the corona time. I bought the first plushies for the babies. The first one to get pregnant before knowing said it was like she had a dragon on her stomach because of all acid reflux. I gave her a dragon plushie for the baby. The other told our mom the baby was the size of a pea when she found out, so she got one of those plushies of peas in a pod
She could easily put veg into the casserole by incorporating diced onions, bell peppers, maybe some carrots too. We always do white onion and green bell pepper when we do sloppy joe's.
I must admit, that picture she posted for sons day on instagram……she’s holding him like he’s not hers. Even the way she’s looking at the baby, like he belongs to someone else. The eyes do not lie folks. I know this because I struggled to bond with my first. It happens, but I hope she’s getting help.

MOST women/couples in the US are not stay-at-home parents, almost half of mothers with a child under the age of 1 work full-time outside of the home. So what about women who don't have the luxury of lengthy paid maternity leaves and have to go back to work after say, 6 weeks? Is it any "better" to leave a newborn infant in daycare around numerous other children and adults for 50 hours a week than it is to take a newborn out "in public' 3 times a week for a few hours? Or do we make "exceptions" for women who have to work outside of the home but only criticize/hold accountable "stay-at-home" mothers for taking their babies out?
I love that you, MammaGoob, film in your kitchen. I tend to watch you while Im eating so I feel like we are having a ladies brunch date together while watching youtube together.
Havent watched Alex in a long time, but now thats she had the baby is she going to have ANY reason to get healthy? Her constant breath sounds after every sentence is not good :(
I’m sorry, Momma Goob, but I think you were being too harsh and unfair on Alex. I think she was trying to say that her actual experience of motherhood has turned out differently from what she expected. I imagine that is the experience of pretty well every woman. I think this was a moment where she was actually allowing herself to show some vulnerability and to acknowledge, perhaps not very overtly, that even her life is not always perfect and that motherhood is not always what she expected. Her advice to would be mothers not to expect that their mothering experience will look like that of curated social media is spot on. Even women with enormous privilege can struggle greatly in the postpartum period.
Alex never said she was struggling. She said not to compare yourself to other people. I don’t think she’s saying this because she’s struggling. I think she’s making a blanket statement that there is no wrong way BECAUSE she’s being called out on doing things incorrectly and wants to be relieved of that. If we’re talking about feeding your child - nursing or bottle, type of formula, etc., that’s a mom to mom thing. But there is a right way to do certain things; to strap a child in a car seat, to avoid crowds to dodge illnesses that could seriously harm your child, to get sufficient bonding time in in the youngest months of infancy - and Alex does not illustrate doing those things. But when people offer her advice, even kindly, she gets defensive. One woman said kindly (and even used the words “I say this out of love”) that bringing a baby out to stores and festivals could heighten risk of exposure to RSV. That’s not comparison - that’s a fact. She was ATTACKED. As a mom, Alex will get advice from others generally. It’s inevitable and happens to all of us. As an influencer, she’ll get more. She can’t silence people by hiding under the “all moms are different” excuse.
But she's contributed to that, she's not tired as new mothers usually are because she's got a husband who takes all the night shifts, she has time to do her makeup, get her nails and her hair done and says that she's lost all her baby weight after 3 weeks!
Now, I know that Alex is not genuine about a lot of things that she portrays in her videos. However, what she was saying at the end of the 1st video was something she really did need to say. Watching your videos of you watching her and reading through your comments alone, makes what she says needed. You and a lot of the people that comment on your videos are constantly comparing what she does, how she does something, or what she goes through to what/how you all did it/ would do it, etc. Certain things she eats/drinks after having gastric bypass, you all..."She shouldn't be eating that because I couldn't, It would make me sick." ANYTHING she does with HER baby..."I didn't do that with my baby. She shouldn't be doing that." Well, she is not you and you all are not her. She is living HER life, not yours. Stop comparing everything she does to what you would do or did. You all automatically say her way is wrong because she doesn't do it the way you do/did. She doesn't have to. No one does. It doesn't make her way wrong. Like she said(and I've said on several of your videos when you all are comparing and putting her down for doing it differently) everyone is different. Everyone's situations are different. Everyone's reactions are different. Everyone does things differently and it doesn't make anyone's way wrong.
well actually some things are wrong. if she didn’t eat the way she ate her surgery would have been more successful. she can eat what she wants, but she failed. if she was thriving and fufilled by motherhood she wouldn’t want to spend a minute away from a baby that only wants to be with her. if she doesn’t care then it’s fine for her to go out so much when she never did before, but she’s not fully soaking up the newborn phase. so yeah she can do what she wants, but you reap what you sow
The thing that inspired me to go the reaction route with my channel is because I always was searching the comments for someone who agreed with me that what the person was saying was bs. So I decided that it was time I give my OPINIONS using my own face and voice to be heard and comment back what they think….just like you did. So welcome and thanks for your comment 👋
@@rebecca-hz1ly " if she was thriving and fufilled by motherhood she wouldn’t want to spend a minute away from a baby that only wants to be with her. if she doesn’t care then it’s fine for her to go out so much when she never did before, but she’s not fully soaking up the newborn phase. so yeah she can do what she wants, but you reap what you sow I think this whole attitude that YOUR standards should apply to all other women is what Alex (and the poster you were replying to) were trying to say is very flawed thinking. It would be valid if you started that statement with "As for me" Alex (and any new mother) CAN be "thriving and fulfilled by motherhood" and still want/have to spend some time away from their infant. Most new mothers don't have as much support as Alex (ie a stay-at-home dad doing half of the childcare duties) so they don't have the option to go out alone without their infants. If they had their husband at home doing half of the baby duty, most women would probably jump at the chance to go get their nails done or go grocery shopping or go to the mall for a few hours. Almost half of the children in the US under that age of 1 have a mother who works fulltime outside of the home and most of those babies are in some kind of daycare situation. Those moms can also be thriving/fulfilled by motherhood even when they away from their baby 10 hours a day. I was a working single mother, went back to work when my baby was 5.5 months old and my baby was in daycare, I was away 50 hours a week all thru his childhood. My son is a kind, responsible, funny, outgoing, self-supporting adult with a great career who is still friends with the kids from the neighborhood 20+ years later. He was a straight A student, a cub scout, athletic, musical, artistic, bilingual in English and Japanese, graduated University in 4 years with 2 Bachelor degrees, earned his Master's in 1 year. I'm not a Superwoman, we weren't wealthy. I definitely believe that "you reap what you sow" is true for most parent/child relationships. New mothers don't have to hold their babies every waking hour or breastfeed or be stay-at-home moms for their children to thrive.
She's saying this to free herself of any scrutiny for her harmful actions. Just like she does when she plays the victim of her comments being being sooo "toxic," though in her mind anything that doesn't kiss her ass is "negative" and "toxic." What she was saying at the end is something she should have said to herself and had some self awareness about. She produces harmful unrealistic content and is actively doing that RIGHT NOW. She's creating unrealistic expectations, making other moms feel bad about themselves because they didn't have as easy as a time as she did, etc. She IS a hypocrite. And on top of causing harm as a content creator, and playing the victim to avoid criticism, a lot of what she does in her content is objectively bad parenting. She doesn't even want feedback about things she's doing that are 100% dangerous to her child's health/life/safety. If that isn't a red flag to you, and doesn't show that she cares more about her ego than her child.. I don't know how to reach you.
Definitely not defending Alex but maybe Yar doesn't like things like watches or a ring. I know my father I remember on Christmas my mom would give him something sentimental and he always returned it or if he couldn't never wore it like she gave him a watch and he never wears it. Hes like Yar he likes F1 and a lot of tech, so now we just give gift cards because we know it will end up back at the store. My dad doesn't even wear his wedding ring because it's a high carat gold and will bend so he never wears it as his job has him doing heavy work especially with his hands. Idk everyone is different I guess. I personally hate jewlery and im a female I never wear it, and would likely return it for cash to buy tech. If I knew my spouse liked tech like me and wanted to give something sentimental and expensive(like she tends to always overspend anyways)AirPods Max with their initials engraved with a heart and maybe the babies birthday to remind him of when he became a dad. Just a thought for a more sentimental gift thats still a piece of tech.

It must be so confusing for him to see her get to dressed up and actually do her hair for work content and going out with her mom but then dress down and barely make an effort for their "couple time." 👀
Love your channel but can't watch her.
Same.
The newborn talk makes it even more unbearable.
The fair looked sad asf.
You know she only went for the food.
She always concentrates on the food. On vacation too.
@@Rivergirl168 always. I mean, I get it, but I don't pretend 😂
She concentrated on food during her birth vlog, because a dry sandwich and chips are mega important.
Yes, don’t ever think she said they moved to Rhode Island.
Yeah she’s mentioned it many times. They’ve lived in Rhode Island for like 3 years now
I know she lives in RI, but I don't recall her every saying so
@@dharad.felton9697 yeah she has…she’s mentioned it a handful of times. I remember maybe last year or something she even bought a hat that says RI girl or something on it
@@lorabell1979 I must have missed that. I thought I was paying attention lol
if I eat breakfast it spikes my blood sugar and then I’m ravenous the rest of the day. I don’t eat anything until lunchtime.. not sure why these fat women don’t get the correlation between eating a bunch of shit in the morning and intense cravings for rest of day.
Thats why I don't eat late at night I wake up starving and I never eat breakfast but I absolutely love breakfast foods lol
Me yelling at the screen for you to skip when the dog sponsor part was coming on 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Just the idea of a sloppy joe casserole from her makes me sick lol
Notice Bruno doesn’t even wag his tail …. I bet he doesn’t get much attention now…
I caught a live!! Yay!!!
She’s feeding Anderson whilst talking, hardly ever looking down at him… babies love the eye contact, but no, she’s just rambling on …..
@@vlinmanyou are entitled to your opinion. As I am to mine.
She puts on enough make up for a kabuki performance!

Can't watch AR anynore as I sit here hoping my account doesn't go negative over the next few weeks because my spouse got injured and was without pay for months.
Her materialism disgusts me.
This has happened to me several times through out the years (injured spouse) and finances get tricky. Wishing your spouse a rapid recovery ❤️🩹
If u go outside you stay tan, yes wear sunscreen
Awwww... Gabriel... Goobriel... Momma Goob!!! ❤
Its impossible that she wont be more swollen or get bigger during her entire pregnancy, her size didn't change at all,no face bloat, its either she's good at editing her vids or she used a surrogate
Her constant breath sounds after every sentence is not good :(
Yall are really so bored to hate on someone you don’t know at all
I’m sorry, Momma Goob, but I think you were being too harsh and unfair on Alex.
You must be new to Alex. If you think MG is harsh you don’t want to watch the other reaction channels
Alex is not struggling. Maybe with the bonding but she isn’t trying.
I agree with your post
There so mean to her why not
Give some
Grace
Now, I know that Alex is not genuine about a lot of things that she portrays in her videos. However, what she was saying at the end of the 1st video was something she really did need to say. Watching your videos of you watching her and reading through your comments alone,
makes what she says needed.
Oh please. Just let her buckle him in wrong in car seat? Some things are safety issues.
@@rebecca-hz1ly " if she was thriving and fufilled by motherhood she wouldn’t want to spend a minute away from a baby that only wants to be with her. if she doesn’t care then it’s fine for her to go out so much when she never did before, but she’s not fully soaking up the newborn phase. so yeah she can do what she wants, but you reap what you sow
I think this whole attitude that YOUR standards should apply to all other women is what Alex (and the poster you were replying to) were trying to say is very flawed thinking.
What’s wrong with you?
You’re pretty toxic yourself mama!
