I animated for NASB2! And I'M SO GLAD it's finally out and I can shout it loud! Especially since I'm an fan of your 5 hour rankings and I like your videos in general. It feels so surreal to think a UA-camr I like is reviewing a game I worked on! It truly is a small world. I animated both Lucy and Gertie, and boy did I have a great time doing Lucy's smears on arms and legs, I hope they won't go unnoticed.
Never mind, delete the answers, it was nearly obvious. Should have continued watching the video. I thought it was unnamed because it was bad, which confused me because NASB1 was the clearest and most recent one. It's actually unnamed because I think it is overexposed or has been compared a lot.
My biggest problem was that they didn't fix the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles problem. Instead of adding all 4 turtles the just swapped the two turtles from Leo and Mikey to Donny and Raph, solving absolutely nothing.
@@DuskLegend skins would have been the best, the turtles all look similar enough that i think they can all have the same move set but for people who actually care about the turtles they can have their pick of their favorite it also saves you a character slot.

Despite the roster being pretty baffling, I've had quite a lot of fun with NASB 2. I feel like most of the issues people had with the original were addressed and that it holds its own as a well done platform fighter.
Honestly, I'm interested in how they'll revamp the older roster's movesets given how they pretty much given the returning characters much more depth than the last game.
As a Danny Phantom fanartist, you have No Clue how hard Danny's hair is to translate into 3d without losing its iconic shape. Its.. Magic Hair. It's short on the camera side and long on the back side, no matter what angle you're at. It's pulling a mickey mouse ears situation.
FOP games on PS2 managed to get around that issue by having the hair flip to the other side depending on where Timmy was facing. I can't imagine how hard it would be today with more kinetic movements and dynamic poses.
Speaking of Danny I still hope that the game adds in these DP characters- Skulker The Box Ghost The Lunch Lady Dark Danny (Adult Danny) Dani (The Female Version Of Danny) Jack and Maddie Fenton That plus make Vlad Playable
Ive said it one, I'll say it again. Fanboy and Chum Chum having half of their attacks being annoying the other player is perfect. Literally just have their final smash (or whatever its called) be them just singing the intro at you and just causing their opponent to go insane and just jump off the stage
I don't think Fanboy and Chum Chum do fit as fighters, I think they could be better as bosses those summon and do abstract and stupid things with their stage. That would be more fitting.

Never played the first game. Bought this one for Azula, Korra, and Aang. Love Azula, she is my favorite Would love to see Toph added. She looked awesome to play in the first game; but I couldn’t justify the purchase. 2 is awesome. Im excited to play as Zuko and Iroh. More Zuko.

My main conplaimt is that they cut characters from the last game like Shredder, Toph, Hugh, and Helga. Seriously 11 characters were cut and that's just absolutely wild to me
Helga and Toph make perfect sense as to why they're fighters; they were always itching for a fight in their shows. Hugh and Nigel were added in exclusively because of the memes, but I'm honestly happy they removed Hugh, as he's not very fighting-savvy. I get Nigel isn't either, but it's not a stretch to imagine that he at least has to be able to protect himself and his family against potentially wild animals.
I get why most base roster characters were ignored, but the DLCs already shined by their quality, it just made sense to st least keep those. Hope Aaah Real Monsters and Powder Toastman do get a 2nd chance
Raph and Donnie over Leo and Mikey definitely feel the weirdest to me. I’m not super caught up on TMNT as a franchise so I don’t exactly know who among the four is more popular. But I had a feeling Leo and Mikey was at least the better dynamic. I get people complain about having too many TMNT characters but two out of four Turtles no matter how you slice it just feels wrong. It’s like Ed, Edd, n Eddy without Edd as an example.
@@boydixonentertainment I feel like the Turtles probably could have been handled like the Pokemon Trainer in Smash Bros with them all being one character who switches out every time they die or do their down special. It is in Raph's character to run off on his own though. Not so much in Donnie's, however.
I do hope that some of the scrapped characters get in. Hell, it would’ve been neat if for the turtles, they had a different turtle from each iteration like if they had Rise!Donny and 2003!Raph.
Even if they don't get their own models, they could still have color schemes that represent the turtles from other shows, like Shredders Revenge did with it's new dlc.
I actually expected TMNT to get the Zelda treatment and get characters from different eras lol, specially from Rise because that series has potential for its own set of duplicate characters.

I absolutly *adored* the first All Stars Brawl so much that even with the huge lack of content it had that i 100% completed it and i'm extemely happy to see the huge improvements this one brings to the table. The only big worry i still have is for how long it will actually be supported by the publisher taking to account how fast they drop support and their rather mediocre library of published games.
I have to say, I'm glad that NASB basically got a second chance to shine and show off the potential it had. While some very unfair comparisons to *the game series not to be named* rot my dumb little brain, the effort put in here should not go unnoticed.

Okay but in all seriousness, Hugh Neutron was LITERALLY only playable to cash out on the memes. The fact that he was added before Jimmy himself was ridiculous.
I think what really gave this game a face lift is all the models. Some of the models in Nick Allstars was just god awful compared to the more popular shows they HAD to make look good or Nick would probably had been upset if their main money maker looked bad like the rest.
I think it’s ok that the full roster isn’t there, because it gives reason to play the previous game because it’s a sequel not necessarily a replacement.
My biggest problem is that the background use to Manny bright colors, in general you want to dim your background to help the objects on the foreground stand out

I've noticed a disturbing amount of sellout reviews for games the past few months. I swear society is just regressing constantly I thought we ended that crap in like 2010.
Yeah... Nah. I liked the first one a lot but it feels like support was dropped from the first game way too soon. The asking price for the second game is too high of entry for me to give when I don't really trust the devs to keep the game supported for a long time. I'll probably buy it if it ever goes to 60-70% off but rn its too much.

I’m not mad that NASB2 is a sequel but more it’s a sequel that came out only 2 years after the original as that is way too soon for a fighting game sequel especially since the first game’s dlc came out last year
It's Great to see Nickelodeon All Star Brawl getting another chance. The Animation and designs of the Nickelodeon characters along with the Graphics, stages, costumes and music are Amazing. And man Fanboy and Chum Chum in NASB would be Pretty cool to see.
I'm glad that some areas of this game have definitley improved compared to the first, but there's still some areas that need a lot of improvement, specifically the roster. I hope that the next game can introduced a set of revamped returners mixed in with new franchises that I know for certain are requested such as Barnyard and Fairly Odd Parents
Im honestly really shocked that otis is not one of the dlc characters, he is easily one of the most requested characters it seemed like such an easy pick to me, I hope they do add him eventually
I think it's the speed to me I'm a smash/multivurses player and those game speeds were nice I love the face pace this game seems slower or is it just me?
@@Chillianaire it is definitely faster than both of those, the recent smash titles have been fairly slow, even if ultimate is slightly better, and multiversus was super floaty and a bit akward. Now nasb2 is for sure slower than nasb1, but nasb1 was way too fast anyways, and this one still goes super fast at times, just find an online korra and you'll see what I mean

i doubt fairly odd parents will ever make it in. i hear that franchise is tied up in rights issues. i think i heard some european country have like distribution rights for daily odd parents games and thats why Fairly odd parents characters haven't been in any of the recent Nick crossover games like both All star brawl and slime racer series

The fact Vlad is on the freaking BOX ART and not playable is just blasphemous. Like he's the main villain of Danny Phantom yet it's Ember who is playable and Vlad is just a boss fight. Makes no sense. They did my boy dirty.
A rougue single player campaign is such a cool way to make this sequel of a game very interesting. In the gameplay Clockwork fits the storyboard perfectly like doctor strange from Avengers which makes this like a infinity war version.
I've never seen this brought up by anyone but the models (especially the lighting) looks so bad especially when we can compare it to stuff like the spongebob movie, this would be fine on a wii or even a wii u at times but in this day and age?,It looks awful at least to me

One of the best things is that Mr. Krabs is a DLC character, meaning you have to pay to play as him. And I absolutely love that.

My main conplaimt is that they cut characters from the last game like Shredder, Toph, Hugh, and Helga. Seriously 11 characters were cut and that's just absolutely wild to me
Helga and Toph make perfect sense as to why they're fighters; they were always itching for a fight in their shows. Hugh and Nigel were added in exclusively because of the memes, but I'm honestly happy they removed Hugh, as he's not very fighting-savvy. I get Nigel isn't either, but it's not a stretch to imagine that he at least has to be able to protect himself and his family against potentially wild animals.
I get why most base roster characters were ignored, but the DLCs already shined by their quality, it just made sense to st least keep those.
Hope Aaah Real Monsters and Powder Toastman do get a 2nd chance

Raph and Donnie over Leo and Mikey definitely feel the weirdest to me. I’m not super caught up on TMNT as a franchise so I don’t exactly know who among the four is more popular. But I had a feeling Leo and Mikey was at least the better dynamic. I get people complain about having too many TMNT characters but two out of four Turtles no matter how you slice it just feels wrong. It’s like Ed, Edd, n Eddy without Edd as an example.
@@boydixonentertainment I feel like the Turtles probably could have been handled like the Pokemon Trainer in Smash Bros with them all being one character who switches out every time they die or do their down special.

I do hope that some of the scrapped characters get in. Hell, it would’ve been neat if for the turtles, they had a different turtle from each iteration like if they had Rise!Donny and 2003!Raph.
Even if they don't get their own models, they could still have color schemes that represent the turtles from other shows, like Shredders Revenge did with it's new dlc.
I actually expected TMNT to get the Zelda treatment and get characters from different eras lol, specially from Rise because that series has potential for its own set of duplicate characters.

I absolutly *adored* the first All Stars Brawl so much that even with the huge lack of content it had that i 100% completed it and i'm extemely happy to see the huge improvements this one brings to the table. The only big worry i still have is for how long it will actually be supported by the publisher taking to account how fast they drop support and their rather mediocre library of published games.

I have to say, I'm glad that NASB basically got a second chance to shine and show off the potential it had. While some very unfair comparisons to *the game series not to be named* rot my dumb little brain, the effort put in here should not go unnoticed.
You can see the devs knew how to make a platform fighter from the first game, all they needed was time and money to make it shine on everything else.
I mean it's good it got a 2nd shot for sure but, for people who bought the original that's a 2nd shot with another 50 dollar price tag while the first one got left in the dust. Hard not to feel sour grapes with how it was handled and how people who supported it were treated.

I think what really gave this game a face lift is all the models. Some of the models in Nick Allstars was just god awful compared to the more popular shows they HAD to make look good or Nick would probably had been upset if their main money maker looked bad like the rest.

Yeah... Nah. I liked the first one a lot but it feels like support was dropped from the first game way too soon. The asking price for the second game is too high of entry for me to give when I don't really trust the devs to keep the game supported for a long time. I'll probably buy it if it ever goes to 60-70% off but rn its too much.

It's Great to see Nickelodeon All Star Brawl getting another chance. The Animation and designs of the Nickelodeon characters along with the Graphics, stages, costumes and music are Amazing. And man Fanboy and Chum Chum in NASB would be Pretty cool to see.

I'm glad that some areas of this game have definitley improved compared to the first, but there's still some areas that need a lot of improvement, specifically the roster. I hope that the next game can introduced a set of revamped returners mixed in with new franchises that I know for certain are requested such as Barnyard and Fairly Odd Parents
Im honestly really shocked that otis is not one of the dlc characters, he is easily one of the most requested characters it seemed like such an easy pick to me, I hope they do add him eventually
I think it's the speed to me I'm a smash/multivurses player and those game speeds were nice I love the face pace this game seems slower or is it just me?
@@Chillianaire it is definitely faster than both of those, the recent smash titles have been fairly slow, even if ultimate is slightly better, and multiversus was super floaty and a bit akward.
Now nasb2 is for sure slower than nasb1, but nasb1 was way too fast anyways, and this one still goes super fast at times, just find an online korra and you'll see what I mean

i doubt fairly odd parents will ever make it in. i hear that franchise is tied up in rights issues. i think i heard some european country have like distribution rights for daily odd parents games and thats why Fairly odd parents characters haven't been in any of the recent Nick crossover games like both All star brawl and slime racer series

Honestly I think my biggest problem was the fact they cut a lot of the veterans that they allegedly had to fight Nickelodeon for in the first game like Powdered Toast Man.

A rougue single player campaign is such a cool way to make this sequel of a game very interesting. In the gameplay Clockwork fits the storyboard perfectly like doctor strange from Avengers which makes this like a infinity war version.
