Hmm if he was light. Then for my joke theory on Kairi/Ava/Darkness theory would probably make "Light" Riku. Geez what a plot twist would it be if Kairi was the main villain and Riku was just protecting Sora from simping his waifu.

Im thinking if Darkness has a physical form then light also must have a physical form too which could be the master...I wouldnt be mad at all if he was a new character named after the light

In Latin Lux means light. So Luxu and Luxord would be polar opposites

Wait a minute, something I just realized while MoM was talking to Ira. The way he describes disappearing with fade, dim, vanish are all things light does. I may be reading way too much into it, but it makes a whole lot more sense with those choice of words if his name actually is Light or another word that means light. It's a very deliberate choice of words that may be hinting of his name being Light on top of the flash of light when MoM tells Xenhanort.
The MoM has to Be Walt since he gave birth to the disney world and tetsuya nomura is the father of the squinix gang

Roxas and Xemnas had hoods in Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix secret ending because there models weren't finished yet. In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix secret ending Aqua, Terra, and Ventus had armor because there models were still in development. All those characters with the exception of Ventus appearance were brand new orginal characters that worked. Based of previous titles if the Master of Master is some new face it wouldn't be risky it at all it would be tradition.

The KH main theme song is called "Hikari", the japanese word for Light. Just tossing that out there. It really would be a fitting name for a person calling themselves the "Master of Masters" in this game.

LMAO! You know what would be hilarious is if Star Wars was a world in KH4 and we go to Cloud City, to the exact same spot and the scene plays out the same way, ending with Sora falling down and getting sucked into the garbage chute and then hanging at the bottom of the city until Kairi senses him 😂
Hey i found a video from damo279 and he made a HUGE discovery about the MoM identity on the Yozora secret ending. The tower that MoM was watching over the moon was the Shibuya Hikari which means "Towards the light" this is comfirming the possibility that MoM is actually light or proclaiming to be. If this to be true then the black box that saids X-Super may lead to someone or something completely different....
Man, you opened my eyes even more... I totally agree with you when you discuss how Light would be a new and old character alltogether and from a narrative point of view it would be actually amazing! I already saw the video from the Landi lodge months ago and already could understand what he was saying back then, but today you gave me the best reason to believe this could actually be the truth!
Plus I always thought that we should remember that light cannot be without darkness and that Sora to me is not 100% pure light, but he is our best character, our hero. He represents the balance between light and darkness and that could be the way to go to end this looooong war. The idea to have the MoM kinda similar to Vanitas but full of light is actually awesome. I never considered it and if it is true that Darkness is Vanitas then there must be its counterpart (which again to me is not Sora).Or I am thinking that it could look like Riku this time... And Yozoora is looking way to similar to him I would say. Could it be that people rooted with light will have red eyes? O_o
And it is interesting that if we look at the new chess game shown by Eraqus to young Xehanorth at the end of KH3 it seems that in the new era we will have to fight the Foretellers and the MoM. If they truly represent light, then as you said in the video we will have to deal with a big shift in the game where old rules will not be valid anymore...
I did not forget also the white coat that Strelitzia was wearing in the dream where she met with Lauriam. That will have to mean something big as well...!
Exactly. I have long believed that you need darkness to keep the universe working. Without a balance the world is doomed, Yin and Yang.

Light wants to destroy darkness no matter what.
Light wanted to see what darkness will do using "his eye", to make advantage of it.
We know that in KH we need balance, and both darkness and light want to destroy that balance, everytime they fight each other, Kingdom Hearts Moon is call.
Task will be how to find that balance. And how to go against light?
Maybe phase 1 was darkness
Phase 2 is light
And Phase 3 will be the conclusion.
Am just praying that they give us a good narration of story/world merge as in the past KH (mainly kh 2, 1, bbs), and not as in kh 3.
MoM being Light makes the most sense to me. I also saw that video you mentioned a while back.
But if you think about it, master xehanort said in bbs that his plan was to perfectly balence light with darkness and that master Eraqis (sp?) Was a fool to side merely with the light. Add in the knowledge that the MoM, lets call him Light, is willing to destroy the whole universe to defeat darkness kinda shows xehanorts point in wanting balence rather than just using light. Perhaps he had seen or was somehow made aware of MoM's willingness to destroy everything just to beat darkness.
Final fantasy games have a tendancy to end with your group fighting a literal god or death itself so it wouldn't be too far a jump to see the buildup to the final final boss being either darkness or MoM, revealed to be Light.

I don't think MoM being a new character has to be bad because we're "late in the story". It's a new story arc, new character intros are a given (see also: Yozora and his crew). Wanting every new character to be previous characters, or related to them, is how you get stuff like Once Upon A Time's horror of a family tree (and just to be clear: i love that show). I'm not saying MoM *is* a new character, just that we shouldn't be closed to the possibility.

The Master of Masters is Sora. Think about all the connections
In BBS we see Terra and Aqua grant Riku and Kairi the use of keyblades symbolizing how they follow in their footsteps. Well who hands Sora a keyblade? Xehanort, that’s who. Who also comes from Destiny Islands. Xehanort does. And Sora is already a confirmed time traveler. Plus, where do we see the Keyblade Sora wields in the movie after KH2 where Terra, Aqua, and Ven find it. The Keyblade Graveyard. Also Sora sits in the throne just like Xehanort does. Same pose and everything. Foreshadowing much?
I agree with you Kat L I think soras the master but we also know that sora can time travel and we see in union cross we learn about what the life boats can do. We also see that sora has seen them at the end of kh1 in radiant garden. In union cross the master of masters states that the he's been fighting darkness since he was just a child, he also states that he was self taught and he fought in a keyblade war. Sora is self taught he's been fighting darkness since he was young and has was apart of keyblade war. And since we know that master xehanort preformed a beqeathing of the x blade to sora that means he can sommon the x blade and xehanort/master of masters no name keyblade. And one final thing they are both in quadratom
Has anyone considered the fact we have never seen the x-blade in *any* of the prequel games? We know the seven Princesses of Heart are the lights that composed it, and the 13 darknesses. If Xehanort had to create his own 13 (excpet Vanitas), then isn't it likely that the original darknesses except MoM were destroyed beforehand? Darkness encounters Sora as he passes Ven's Station of Awakening, assuming that's Vanitas.

I don't think we think we actually seen who master of master's could be my bet it's going to be a new character who we're introduced to and then is going to be later revealed to master of masters.

Wasn’t the name “Super” etched on the box, though? I believe his name to be Superbia, the last of the Seven Darknesses to be sealed.
Seven Darknesses, seven deadly sins, all of the MoM apprentices have names derived from those sins, in Latin of course (ira, ava, gula to name a couple).
Since the plan is to give these seven darknesses a body in order for them to be destroyed and the vessels were going to be MoM and his six apprentices, I can’t see why should MoM’s name Super, derived from Superbia (apologies for the repetition lol)
What if it’s light using Sora body.

I just wanna throw the thought out there. M.o.m., this hyper aware being that has written out the details and contructed things to work as he envisons, could just straigh up be Nomura. or his self insert. I wouldn't rule it out. Infact id say itd be one of those "OF COURSE IT IS" kinda deals that has a tinge of "I hate how I couldn't have guessed that" in it till you see their face. And we technically KNOW Nomura. Plus if you created a big grand story and brought the twist and turns of your master plans in small hints, only for the people you're telling to pick them appart or question them, your base impulses would be alot like the M.o.m.s actions and speech patterns. may even be Light Nomura or something.
I think that the future of the series is about to unfold to stages far more grand in scope then people are giving it credit.
Just think, for all of Union we’ve been told the ancient struggle of the primal forces of light and darkness. I do think that the M.o.M. Is light personified and his name is Lux, he even states that he is from a time of beings of light and beings of dark who he was adverse to.
I think the next stage of the series is going to delve into being caught in the middle of these two cosmic forces finally clashing as the M.o.M. Had finally laid out his plan in its entirety and is forcing the last Darkness into a confrontation. I think that Sora will have to fight both the primal darkness as well as the M.o.M. As you cannot have light without darkness and vice versa and these two entities are destined to forever be at odds with each other and we as the player will have to do our best to bring balance to light and darkness.
I personally cannot wait to see the KH series delve into more morally grey themes as I can see us allying with darkness in some cases and fighting the M.o.M. In others. I happen to think that’s why his theme music is so chaotic as his character may not be as pure as we have previously believed him to be in the frame of mind of having such a black and white narrative, good (light) vs. bad (darkness).
Anyway that’s just my thoughts I hope that they flesh out the lord of series out a little more in this next chapter as it has some major potential to have lots of interesting dynamics and drama that will really make us think who we really owe our allegiance to. Like just think of all the current keyblade masters finding out that their ancestor from which their teachings came from isn’t as pure as they thought and what kind of schisms that may cause in the alliances we currently have. There’s so much room for so many different theories I could go on for paragraphs more so I’m going to stop.

I'm thinking luxu is the black goat luxord the white goat and the masters name is lux meaning light but his motives are close to xehanorts doing things to save the world but taking drastic measures to achieve that goal darkness is lux or the masters counterpart or other luxu is the masters apprentice where as luxord could be the darkness's apprentice luxord and the darkness might be good and the light bad this time I mean since the beginning in kingdom hearts one the voice tells sora the closer you get to the light the greater your shadow becomes even in kingdom hearts they also say the true light is a very powerful force and potentially can be the end of all worlds
With light being antagonistic you mean they take the Avatar: Legend of Kora route, as in; Every faction could be good and evil, even if they believe in what they are doing are for the better / greater good.
I need to watch Korra still so idk, but the general idea is what I mean yes. I think the protagonists coming up against the Foretellers is going to be interesting for both sides, because both believe the light is right, but the Foretellers follow the MoM who has methods and goals I doubt the heroes will agree with, so it'll make them have to question their beliefs on what is right or wrong, and what is light and darkness

I do believe M.o.M is a prevision version of Sora, explaining Xigbar/Luxu's interest in Sora.
I got a theory that the Box Couldn't appear until Sora freed the other hearts inside him, so the MOM reconnect with him.

You now that I thinking about it, I sort of don’t think the MoM will be revealed in melody because first all, it’s too obvious and when you look at the trailer and see what Kairi saids it obvious she’s not talking to MoM. She obviously doesn’t know who the motherfucker is. But this is Nomura, he’s playing tricks on us once again.
Maybe it’s actually luxu/Xigbar in the trailer.

I want it to be either the master or luxu. Xehanort’s story arc has already been completed and it would be underwhelming. But If it’s the master in melody of memories, it might be left off at a cliffhanger when he reveals himself. He reveals himself to kairi, but we don’t see his face. Is read the game would end with a surprised look on kairi’s face. Maybe she’s just assuming it’s Xehanort in that cloak, but it’s actually the master.

Pay attention to Vanitas' chest, and Riku's chest. Vanitas is "almost" and entire Heart of Darkness. Riku Replica is just a small Heart of Darkness. Put and X through the emblem on Rikus Replicas chest. If you can change the rules, then they aren't rules.

If MoM is light, wants to end the world. I believe he is pranking everyone so the world remains and darkness expired in some way. Just imagine all the tricks and lies he had to make in order to save the world from darkness. Thats why his OST sounds soo out of place.

Whatever people say, MoM being adult Sora just makes other possibilities seem just bland. Having MoM be both someone who most of the people connect with and possibilities it brings are so big that it honestly would bring this series' story back from the mud it has been for years. It would also make all this dry lore-explaining feel worth it. Series trying to tackle things of moral greyness does not really do proper job cause most of the chars do not ever leave far from the good-boi/girl axis.
