Hey, liked your video and it was quite informative. I’m a Black American living in Central Europe and don’t like being called an African because usually that’s the first thing people assume about me, so I know what you mean. I was really contemplating visiting Russia about seven years ago, because I have Russian friends living here and they told me I had nothing to fear because of my color. I had been in Ukraine and afterwards wanted to see St. Petersburg and Moscow. But the political situation was getting somewhat tense and I really didn’t want any problems. I hate this unhappiness going on right now and am really looking forward to it easing up. I’m really happy that you are managing well there. I’m going to subscribe to your channel to get more info about life there. You take care and stay safe.

I would have love to show a lot to the audience but as you can see my channel isn’t popular so that doesn’t help .So make sure you share with other Afro Americans and stay tuned for variable Russia. Contents .I will interview a black American living in Russia sometime whenever I got the chance.bench my videos and you will learn a lot about the untold reality of Russia as I go extreme height to share private conversations to my tiny audience. I am Russian and I grew up in the states. I've lived in the states for 21 years. I've been spending more time in Russia in the last few years (besides covid times)
I've realized I haven't seen almost any Russia. I see you want to travel around Russia more. I really want to see all of Russia, also. Would be great to meet up with you somewhere some day. 🙂

I am not sure if you mentioned russian energy costs... I remember they were nearly nothing in St. Petersburg some 20y ago. In Germany, since 10 years, the flat eats up at least half the realistic salary. In the country less, in the city more. And since 2021, the cost of life and extra costs have doubled. That means, about 60% of germans will not be able to save money for the future any more. But "fortunately", there is another future in the social system. Its a bit like Klaus Schwab wrote: "You will own nothng, but you will be happy". I live in spain at the coast and over here its more like Krim or Kamchatka... You either are rich, make good money, or you can hardly live and consume from little money. But you are still a free human being, can still have fun with others, eat good food and drink, enjoy the sun, and you dont need to give your soul and all assets to the state. Thats the main difference of living in southern Europe since about 20 years. And the main difference to Russia could be, in my eyes, that Russia is growing better, while the EU is descending with their own sanctions, especially with the fall of a "progressive" Germany.

I have been in 92 countries and feel the most free in Russia where I have lived 22 years in St Petersburg. The cost of living is low, except in Moscow, so any income is enough to live debt free which is an important part of personal freedom. Americans are about the least free because the trap of needing credit to even live with so many additional monthly payments that the bottom 60-70% are very constrained in life style and lack of security. Europe is becoming that way to a lesser degree. Russia offers a lot of personal freedom because there are few laws the restrict behavior but the people are in general level headed, calm, happy, friendly and under a lot less stress to conform. In the US now, one really has to watch what they say or it could trigger a stranger to extreme anger and possibly violence if you say a personal view that does not match theirs perfectly. There is almost no tolerance of people thinking or acting differently. All expats report the same shock going back home for a visit requires them to say very little until they determine the extreme view of the person they talk about and just mimic what the other person says. I only returned for 2 weeks every 4-5 years but during that time the changed and constricting new laws change everything but those who do not leave are used to it so those monthly changes and new laws become habit. being gone 4 years and finding how much you can't do any more or how much fees are to do things that never cost before at all. Seeing the homelessness spreading to the suburbs in California was my last shock when I returned in October 2021. One difference was not being allowed to check into my hotel in San Francisco because they could no longer accept a passport as id to check into a hotel. I prepaid a week on Union Square which used to be the city center shopping district. I had already has spent a week in Sacramento where I own, with my sister a duplex that she rents out the other half. Both sides are 3 bedroom with large landscaped back yards but the restrictions on water forces many of the plants to die. I had renewed my drivers license while there and had a temperary license plus my expired license with the same data, address, id and number, plus my passport. The prepayment was $800 for the hotel. They denied me checking in because a temporary drivers license is no longer allowed as id. They refused to refund my money saying it was my fault for not having acceptable ID and using a passport inside the US is now illegal. I tried 3 other hotels and all refused. I finaly tried a hostel and was accepted by a nice girl from Mexico. The hostel was fun, with a real social scene and cheap. on the forth day she came to me to say the manager came and was angry because I illegally registered and had to move out right away but said he only comes once a week so I could stay. The same new restrictive laws about ids, prevent people from going across state lines or boarding a train or bus without what they call RealID. The law has been in effect for several years but 6 states sued because it will take a few years to be able to change their computer systems. So temporarily Real ID is not prevent people to move between states but it might be in place by now. Everywhere I looked, new laws restricted movement and monitoring. One HAS to have credit to live, have a phone, deal with the government use services etc so homeless are fully abandoned by the government and have no way back into society. The US has more laws that regulate behavior than any country on earth and Russia is one of the most free countries to live as you wish. I know street musicians who work two days a week on the main street during the summer and live off those tips all year or travel in the winter. The services for young families in Russia are great. Most people own their home and have few expenses other than food. Food prices here in St Petersburg did not go up much but now I see they have lowered
Regarding banking, I have accounts for businesses and person and when recieving money from California it can go directly into my account in dollars but with the western restrictions on dollars you can;t get it all in cash at one time so I have other away to move it to Russia and then exchange it for Rubles with a good exchange rate so I don't experience any problem. The problems dealing with dollars is not on the Russia side but the US and Europe sanctions on the Central bank. But much of the world is moving away from the dollar, which is a major problem for the US which depended in free money printing for free imports to the US because other producer countries needed dollars for international trade settlement. Most of the many regime changes and US wars in the last 30 years has been to force any two countries trading with each other to do it in US dollars. Now OPEC plans on dumping the dollar (petrodollar) since Saudi Arabia is joining BRICS with China, Russia, India and almost allAfrica, Middle East and increasing numbers of South American countries. The US can;t declare war on ALL those countries at once and with Russia being able to defend those countries, it is a big loss to the US to have to spend only what it earns for the first time since 1972.
Russia is the most self contained country on earth, with everything it needs to live with no imports or exports, so the coming turmoil is most easily overcome in Russia where few people have personal debt. The government also has very little debt. It used to import food but now is a large exporter of all sorts of food.
Americans who come here usually have a view of superiority as a "wealthy " country but they assume since they have credit they are wealthy when Americans are some of the poorest people on earth. If you gave a dollar to a beggar in a poor country they have a positive net worth. The bottom 70% of Americans if iven $10,000 would still have negative net worth of $200,000 with college, medical credit card and 200 other contracted debt obligations. Lacking that debt load, Russias are much less stressed out, less angry and less divide, and take more vacations and more foreign travel. One in 10,000 Americans have every seen a Great Masters painting or opera while every Russian 10 year old has, many times. My adopted city has 600 beautiful clean safe parks, and it is doubtful is anyone one has safe parks in the US unless they are locked up at night fall. here they open all night. Russians get a minimum of 58 paid days off for holiday of vacation plus the free unpaid days off like weekends making over 2 months paid vacation/holiday. Up to 3 years of paid family leave. There is no need for a car. I was a car nut and collected and restored classic Italian GTs in California, where not having a car means being cut off from the world. Here, public transport is cheap, clean, convenient, reliable safe and boosts quality of life NOT having a car. Americans do not realize how much of their negative net worth is due to having to have a car for each adult in the family to live. Every month a car depreciates $400-5000, and repair and maintence costs can be staggering high. Fuel is expensive but the least impact on total cost of having cars. In many areas of the US parking cars on the street or drive way is illegal and must be inside the garage of fines of hundreds of dollars can be levied.
No, Americans are not free, but they believe they are because they are told daily they are the only free people on earth and so very few Americans can afford to travel to find out the truth.

You will need to apply for a tourist visa or she can sponsor your visit for humanitarian purposes. It is easist getting a Tourist visa but wait until June with a new visa policy goes into effect. The runs are not worked out but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been ordered to have the new policy in place by June 1 2023. The provisions of the new policy as described by the president was, any passport/citizenship, visa free or on-line free visa, for up to 6 months in-country. You can only get a residency permit if there is a reason to be here such as sponsored by an employer or by marriage. If you marry, and can provide the needed documents such as copy of federal police record from your country, you can apply with her as your sponsor and live in Russia until permanent residency is granted.

I mean, I can't disagree with 1:14 - learning Russian _would_ be important, if you wanted to - or even _could_ - visit/relocate to Russia. 4:58 - Why is your guest "absolutely shocked" about the changes to Tinkoff Bank when the bank was completely shook up after February and the founder himself was ousted? 🤷‍♀

The biggest mistake the world can do is to reflect Russians to the authorities. My goal about these videos is to be REAL not just sharing videos for VIEWS and Clicks. In every bad situations there are some positives but on unfortunately NEGATIVITY sell in this industry like oil! We ALL want peace ✌🏻 at the end of the day but we should be honest in our reporting.

@@Ducanralf “NEGATIVITY sell in this industry like oil!” Spot on. Just see how many followers the silly whining young woman from Khabarovsk gets. she can barely construct a coherent sentence. Why am I so hard on her? Well, my great grandma was born in Khabarovsk. She was 85 when she died. Though I was only 12, I saw with my own eyes beautiful Khabarovsk. Yet, all Natasha shows is dumps and abandoned trashed buildings, speaking about weirdest things.

@@MaryJones-fs4wf there is a difference between "negativity" for the sake of negativity and calling things as you see them. Ralf sees things in a positive way. Natasha sees them negatively. What I do _not_ see in Ralf's videos is an assessment of the opposite point of view. Natasha, on the other hand, finds plenty of great things about Russia! I wish Ralf could also be critical (even if not overwhelmingly), like he often was before February 🤷‍♀

@@APlusRussian Natasha can't wait to get out of Russia. She is up for a big surprise though- Europe or the US, doesn't matter. She is burning bridges where there is no return. She could leave quietly without making a statement. Silly.
Negativity?? Check Kuin B, Eli from Russia, Anastasie Vaskevich, Zangieff and compare them with Natasha. She is not in the same league, intellectually.
Why do you want to see Ralf (or others) bashing (being critical) Russia? Why would one seek negativity in everything? No country is perfect. So please, don't provoke Ralf. He was never critical, not before February, not after.

Yes, around EU and US since most countries of the world and 74% of world population have a favorable view of Russia and are already in or applying for membership in BRICS. Almost all of Asia, Central Asia, India, Middle East, all the OPEC countries, All but one country in Africa, A number of South American countries are joining. So the iron curtain that encicles Europe and North America will be real.

What about carjacking, human trafficking, drive-by shootings, mass shootings in Russia? Are gas stations safe at night? In Moscow in particular. Can kids walk to/ from school unsupervised? Do pediatricians make house calls after a baby was born?

Well, as Stefan just said, Moscow is relatively safer than many cities. You definitely haven’t been here for a while . I travel a lot an can confirm it’s unbelievable safe . The police present make a huge deference as well

I was born in 90’s (a wild time in Russia) in the little town far away from Moscow and my mum told me that all of a sudden she was visited by a worker of a hospital checking us after a couple of weeks she gave me birth. So I guess it’s a common practice. And it’s not 90’s anymore and I’ve never personally faced violence you mentioned

@@Elle_dm 👍 Unfortunately it is almost normal in the US. It must be expected and one must always look over his shoulder. I was reading today about carjacking with a little boy still inside the car and yesterday someone thwarting an attempted carjacking at gas station, from a mom with a little child in her hands. This happened within 24hr in the city I live in, during daytime in public places...Luckily the car with a child inside was abandoned nearby, and a hero gas station worker had apprehended the would be carjacker.

@@MaryJones-fs4wf it sounds really sad. I hope this person will be properly prosecuted. I don’t actually read such news and maybe it happens in Russia as well but it’s out of my attention. I suppose there bad people in every country and we all should be careful after all… Even though I’ve never been attacked I carry my pepper spray if I’m outside my home at night and it makes me feel empowered and safe
