I really like this channel! I was a kid in the 70s & 80s and of course this was during the Cold War with the Soviet Union. Thanks, Slava. I like your apt. -- the 2 balconies, in particular, especially the big windows that open. I wish I had a washing machine in my apt. We have a laundry room on each floor of my apt. bldg. Right now, bed bugs were found in the 4th floor laundry room. Your area reminds me of how it used to be in Washington State -- pleasant. Now it's gross -- awful. Lawlessness abounds. Sometime I would like to see how you hang the clothes to dry. We have distinctions between the words "apartment" (you rent) and "condominium" (you buy/own).
In Russia, apartments are privately owned and sometimes rented. A condominium has a slightly different meaning: it is an association of owners in a single complex of real estate, within the boundaries of which each of them owns residential and / or non-residential premises, including other real estate that is the common property of homeowners.
Hi Joan! What part of Washington state do you live in? I live in St Louis Mo. Lawlessness id here also and getting worse. So sad. I also live in a high rise. We get sprayed for pests every 6 weeks. Its anoying because they spray everything but im also grateful. Some people have had bed bugs but that is handled quickly so it doesnt spread. I assume they have laundry racks snd put them on the porch with the open windows. Seems you would have to iron a lot because air dryrd clothes wrinkle. Everyone looks very nicely dressed in Russia, very neat. Stay safe Joan.
I liked the way how you explained that Russian have to have jam, we don't know that Russian love jam till I watched this video. Small explained but that's how we know breakfast Russian type.
Thanks for this! Glad to see you young guys bicycling at lunch break and then again outdoors after work. If Lena would agree, it would be fun to go to her place of work as well. Also, a little more back story as to how you got into selling scales and microscopes, if you wish to share . I really enjoyed seeing your apartment and a tiny slice of your life.
After watching so many fascinating Bald & Bankrupt videos it is refreshing to see a more normal face of Russia. As an old cold war history buff we wish the Russian people well.

Hi Slava and Lena ~ We really enjoyed your "day in the life". We used to live in a condo in the burbs of Chicago. We had a balcony that was rather narrow, maybe not so narrow as yours but the fence was always in the way of my view so I ordered a cheap 2 seat 1 table bistro set (like a high top in a bar) which sat up higher above the little fence thing so you can see over and out to the view and it doesn't take up as much space (instead of a recliner, a recliner is more comfortable but even it fit in your balcony space it would not allow you to see the view). Anyways, it would be nice if you and Lena could sit out on either of your balconies for a coffee/tea in the morning or a beer for Slava for the evening sunset and whatever Lena enjoys for an evening drink and just enjoy. Also, I often ask myself where people get all this money. I am about to make a huge GENERALIZATION but we always said the Russians (and other cultures) in Chicago were pretty saavy in the BLACK MARKET. Cash is where it's at. I, unfortunately am not saavy in the black market so I'll end up paying a lot of taxes. Oh well, I'm happy with what I've got. It was interesting to see your business, I would be interested to know what Lena does, I thought you said she has her own business but I am not sure, I kind of missed your statement there. Ok, see yous both in the next video! 😊
Wow! nice comment! Russians do have reputation for being savvy in the black market. And it's true. It's not always Russians , it could be Georgians, Armenians , Uzbek, etc, but they would still generalize and call them Russians haha. Lena runs a YT channel called Cooltimes.
Very enjoyable video for sure. My wife is visiting her family in Moscow right now as hasn't been able to due to the Pandemic. We've been married 16 years, and lived in Egypt, Cyprus, Cambridge and now South Wales...... next stop who knows 😅👌🙏
Life on the western edge of Asia. The Trump 2020 sticker was the bomb. Будем здоровы! I love the sharing of Russian culture. I would like to visit your city one day.
The first time I heard you--before I learned of your background--I swore you were from the Deep South (Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina, etc.,) lol. Your Southern accent is strong and unmistakable. Your English is perfect though and aside from an ever so slight Russian (and Southern, lol) accent, I would have thought you were born here in the States. Thanks much for your awesome channel-I’m hooked, lol! God Bless!
Wise comments Slava!, about placing high rise buildings so close (it seems uncommon in Russia these days, tough). In S. Paulo this pratice may be a nightmare.... As a retired engineer and architect I'm always questioning these things of modern urbanism.
I love such videos! It is always interesting to have a look at one day of another person. And it was a chance to learn more about you, Slava! 😊 Haha, you have such a true Russian set of food in the fridge!))) Smetana, mustard, home-made jam... 😊 Wow, riding bikes in the woods while breaks and after work - real happiness! 👍
You have a perfect sized apartment! Keeping yourself light of possessions means you have the freedom to move quickly if say a fabulous apartment became available. Parking spaces are usually assigned 2 per apartment. I wouldn't even consider an apartment where I had to scramble each time to find a space. I discovered your "American," laugh is the same as your "Russian," laugh! Are your products available worldwide? I bought a digital scale many years ago and remember my Grandfather having the scale with weights. It was fun to guess what the item weighted and then balance it out! I am jealous! You have big beautiful parks and lots of great places to go to and have fun! i don't expect to shovel any snow this winter (he, he I live in Florida), but you get to enjoy fall leaves and that first snow!
Thank you. No we're not international right now. I agree parking spaces are very very important. Always hate it when I come to my sister's place and I have to search for a parking spot for a long time.
I think it's really amazing to see your place of work. Something about seeing what other people do for a living.. kind of a different perspective. Anyway keep up the great work.

Enjoyed your video, thumbs up. You're lucky to live near such beautiful countryside. Could really relate to what you two keep in your fridge, a very similar range of foods to what I keep in mine- similar palates I guess. IMO the sticker on its outside doesn't do much for it, though.
If its your own washing machine you can do laundry even everyday while working or watching movies. So size doesnt really matter in that case unless you have a really big family.

Great shots of the countryside at the end. Enjoy all your videos!
Hi
After watching so many fascinating Bald & Bankrupt videos it is refreshing to see a more normal face of Russia. As an old cold war history buff we wish the Russian people well.
Bald & Bankrupt makes anti-Russian propaganda. He is always looking only for dirt in Russia.
Thanks...It's good to have a business and I hope that you do well. The swamps are a different life and it is all interesting. Good luck.
This is my only Russian channel. It's awesome, too.
Thank you for sharing your life and home with us. Please tell your coworkers hello from Pennsylvania!
I wish to have a washer exactly like that one.
I really like this attractive Russian guy as he has made me understand more about Russian things , His English is easy to understand and I hope he would make some reviews about Russian Vodka. 😁😘
Thank you. I'm flattered:) vodka tasting. I'll have to find someone to do that
You have come a long way since your first videos. Very professional. I am sure many viewers would love to travel to Russia because of your efforts. Your videos shot in the states were also very well done. Thank you sir.
You are a gem. Happy couple, smiling, down to earth.
Your house is so beautiful, best wish to your happy life!
Loved this! Спасибо за видео Слава! :)
An awesome couple! Have a great day, Lena & Slava!
I like to follow your vids.......I am an Englishman living in Eastern Poland (what was Old Galicia) and Horseradish grows wild on my farm.....just pull it up clean and chop the roots, blend with cream and it's great with pork etc.....I,m not a fan of Garlic and luckily neither is my Polish wife. We use onions or Chives instead.
I love horseradish. Always gives that extra kick to any meal. I really want to visit Poland one day
You've earned a sub. Never mind the people trying to cancel you for the bumper sticker. They might even accuse you of being the hacker behind the 2016 election!Russians always make for a strong villain in the movies.
Glad you have spent time down south in the USA. The more our people talk, the better for peace.
Nice 👍 video, Great country and Friendly people with a big future potential . ❤️ and Regards from Sri Lanka
Very nice! 💯Thanks for sharing 😊
Awesome video brother someday in near future wanna do business in Russia. PHENOMENAL COUNTRY
Life on the western edge of Asia. The Trump 2020 sticker was the bomb. Будем здоровы! I love the sharing of Russian culture. I would like to visit your city one day.
trump sticker is a joke right ?
@@sgaws why? Trump is the most popular US president in Russia.
@@alexw5263 who won the last russian presidential election? the most popular russian president?
@@esgee3829 Correct
The first time I heard you--before I learned of your background--I swore you were from the Deep South (Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina, etc.,) lol. Your Southern accent is strong and unmistakable. Your English is perfect though and aside from an ever so slight Russian (and Southern, lol) accent, I would have thought you were born here in the States. Thanks much for your awesome channel-I’m hooked, lol! God Bless!
thanks !
God bless you great production.
Much appreciated!
Your city looks so clean and safe. I wish I could move there.
Great video as always. Greetings from Sweden.
Wise comments Slava!, about placing high rise buildings so close (it seems uncommon in Russia these days, tough). In S. Paulo this pratice may be a nightmare.... As a retired engineer and architect I'm always questioning these things of modern urbanism.
Wonderful life.. thanks for sharing!
I love such videos! It is always interesting to have a look at one day of another person. And it was a chance to learn more about you, Slava! 😊
Haha, you have such a true Russian set of food in the fridge!))) Smetana, mustard, home-made jam... 😊
Wow, riding bikes in the woods while breaks and after work - real happiness! 👍
I Love U So Much
You have a perfect sized apartment!
Always like your videos. I always wondered where u worked so it was very interesting to see that part of ur life. You seem to have very good coworkers. If I ever met you in person I would feel like I know you. The daily life aspects of the Russian culture is what is interesting, not just touristy stuff. Do a video on where Lana works.
Very nice apartment home and it looks like a nice city to live and work in. Really liked the drone footage!
Hi, I've been watching your videos and I love it. I'm live here in Ekaterinburg. I'm a student doing my Masters degree at the Ural State University of Economics. I would love to meet you in person. The winter is almost here
Sounds great! Sure we can do that.
Great video Slava and Lena! Beautiful day! Great to see your apartment again! Also your coworkers are very nice and your place of business is great! Good to hear the Christian testimony of Dennis. I love Yekaterinburg, it's a great place to live!
Hope to see you both again next year...hopefully. God bless you both.
Thank you Mike. I totally agree
Nice and cozy Slava! Happiness for you and Lana! BTW Your english is superb, you are totally at easy in English! Friendly greetings from S. Paulo, Brazil for the both of you
Enjoyed your video, thumbs up. You're lucky to live near such beautiful countryside. Could really relate to what you two keep in your fridge, a very similar range of foods to what I keep in mine- similar palates I guess. IMO the sticker on its outside doesn't do much for it, though.
So interesting. A tiny washing machine in the bathroom. Guess use every space available huh? Love the tour. 😁
If its your own washing machine you can do laundry even everyday while working or watching movies. So size doesnt really matter in that case unless you have a really big family.
Love your fridge magnet.
Same, this guy knows what’s up.
Such a beautiful place! I have to visit someday!
Nice apartment 👌🏼plus I like that you change your living room orientation from time to time depending on how you like it 💯
Another great video from two great people. I enjoyed getting a glimpse into your everyday life and into the Protestant churches there in your city. The drone footage was amazing as usual! 😊
Thanks Mark. I thought it was interesting that there's a growing number of Protestants here. Good to hear from you ☺️. Say hi to everybody
@@RussianPlus Yes, that is interesting. Everyone sends their greetings to you and Lena as well. We miss seeing you two and our fun times talking and laughing. Come and see us again. 😊 Jean-Marc is doing quite well with his Russian studies at the university.
Love your apartment. You're so great at making these videos and Lana.
It's great learning all about you what you've done with your life. I see this published on October 2021 but you have something on your fridge from 20/20 😔
You should put up some pictures of you n Lana on the fridge that would be great to see. I'd love some of that Russian jam oh and I love horseradish too. I love that breakfast. I noticed Lana took the broken egg yolk for herself God bless her 💖 have you ever been to Canada hope you make it one day. We have nice people here as well
bhmysore, Slava, I watched Life in a large city.l am truly impressed. Your apt.is very neat and looks very comfy. Work place is impressive too. At lunch break bike riding in natural park! Is it for real. I am speechless.Thank you again Slava. Bye.bh.
It took me a moment to sort out that 1st floor is actually a Ground (Zero / P) floor outside Russia. Potential minefield when hosting foreigners :)
Cozy appartment.. a lot of sunshine..2 balconies and a very nice bathroom
8:57 So wide highway👍
Very glad for your life in Russia. Your apartment is truly awesome and suitable for such a nice couple. Great video, thank you
