In short, Russians are straight forward. They won't show you fake formality. They may sound rude to most Americans but they will tell you exactly what they think.
As a Russian living in America, Ive encountered cultural differences, but those are nothing compared to ideological, aka class. America has a much wider class divide. Even though I grew up with people poorer than me (in New England), they come from families who are not working class. They live off Capitalist institutions, and not exactly living off the wealth of their labor. Parasites, in other words. Even their broke Millenial kids have this air of entitlement. Of all the Americans I encountered, the ones I didnt like always had their routes in academia. Despite being on the same economic level as me, or even lower, they have this air of superiority which I can sense even through their rural accents and drmeanor. Theres something about having a diploma and tons of debt that makes someone intolerable.

Snitches are seen not only like people who report about somebody making something wrong, but screaming about every single mistake and make up stuff about rivels and people they just don't like to look good on others background and most of them really are like that.
