I went today and bought the 11.5 instead of the 10 . I always wanted a hobie but didn't want to spend the big money so I bought the 11.5 ... Hoping to try it out tomorrow .
@robfur yeah awsome I wanted the 11.5 too but only got the 10 as it was what was available at the time they look awsome and I'm sure your gonna love it. And yeah a Hobie would be great too but your right the prices for one are huge
Hey there sorry for the very late reply. The 18lb is enough for me it goes faster than my mates one whilst he's paddling so I'm happy with that lol. And with the battery Im not sure exactly what ah would suit it I've mounted a 100ah deep cell on the back as I run a fish finder as well it's pretty heavy though and sits in the rear behind the seat in a small battery box as it gets a bit of water on the shelf but still has a big enough foot print on the kayak to keep it floating I would probably go for a light weight smaller battery than the one I use currently but in saying that it still works
Yeah I think the 11 is awsome and I would have got one myself and still might but yep I think your on to it esp if it's just on for the 10 Def better to go the 11 all though it may be a bit heavier to cart around but I'm sure it wouldn't be much different

Hi jate. Do younysecan esky? If so what esky fits with the broom handle attached?
How'd u mount the Transducer underneath
Do you think an 18lb thrust is enough? also how much amps is bare minimum for like 3 hour session? Awesome video btw!

does it sit ok on a roof rack? do you have to remove the rudder for it to sit flat ?
Nah it's sits perfect on the toof rack as it's pretty flat bottom and the rudder is folded up and clipped in on the top so it would never hit it
I'm a heavier guy I was thinking the nextgen 11 as I am right on the limit for the 10... what do you think?

Keep on fishing Hoops!!!
