Slowly but surely we will reach our goals. There have been several things I couldn't do until I lost several lbs. Getting winded was the first thing that would happen and I would get disgusted with myself. I look back now and realize how insane that was. I have been fortunate not to have to take any kind of medications even though bad things run in my family. Changing over to Carnivore has made me feel the best I ever felt even when I was a teen. Far from that now, being almost 62, the best advice to give is take it one ounce at a time. It is hard, I know and still deal with that on a daily basis. In the long run, if it wasn't for all the support on this channel and others I would be back at square one. Don't beat yourself up if you fall off, just start again as a new day. You got this! Appreciate all you two are doing to get the community revved up and going. Bless you guys!❤️

Hi, Larry! Yes, I saw the original video! It was inspirational then and it STILL is!
I’ve been eating mostly carnivore/ketovore for about 15 months. I’ve gone from 210 pounds to 140 pounds and I feel great! Yes, the confidence is a huge difference and a life changing boost!

Thank you Larry! I was watching this at the time I was waiting for my husband to set up the printer when he got home as I’m scared of technology. You gave me the confidence to do it myself! I just finished setting it up no problems 😅

I do the same. I did the Stall Slayer course with Amy Berger.
Her stall suggestions were: cutting dairy
counting calories to make sure you aren’t eating to much or too often,
cutting sugar substitutes, practice intermittent fasting (16-8, 18-6, 20-4 or OMAD).
What’s worked for me is the 20/4 intermittent fasting

NSV. I live in Colorado and used to get winded walking around 9,500 feet. Went up to 13,000 feet and did not get winded. Along with no more snoring, climbing stairs without pain, night vision improving.

I’m one of those that saw this originally. Definitely remember the shower story.
In terms of a NSV that I haven’t ever heard anyone discuss before… and one that would get millions of men motivated to do this … without being too graphic. Sexual desire and function.
(I’ve also lost 190 lbs in 17 months).

The sacrifices of eating this way are MUCH better than the sacrifices made from eating the standard American diet. Thanks again!! 🥩

I think the best non-scale miracles for me is being able to be in the sun and not get sunburned for the first time in my life, having no sleep apnea and having no more menstrual pains (in my case they were worse than childbirth or recovering after surgery - and yes, I had the chance to compare).

Yay for you Larry!! There are levels of freedom achieved doing carnivore!
My amazing NSV is one I didn't expect. I was simply hoping to put Hashimoto's in remission plus weight loss. What i didn't expect was regaining the use of my legs! I went to several doctors trying to get a diagnosis as to why it felt like I was walking through mud up to my thighs. They would just look at me and not address it. After a year of doing carnivore, my legs started working. I couldn't stand in one spot for 5 minutes without having to sit down. I would feel like I was going to pass out. About a month ago, i was in church standing all through worship!! I was amazed!!
It's like coming out of a wheelchair! Carnivore for LIFE!!
P.S. My weight loss has stalled out too. Maybe building muscle from walking! 😊

      @briannanovak7831 7 місяців тому

I had a similar problem. My legs just got weaker and weaker. I could barely walk and had to stop to rest just to get the dishwasher loaded. I asked my doctor for help to figure out what was wrong, and she came back into the room with a prescription for an anti-depressant! I fired her and figured my problem out with the help of Doctor Google. It was electrolytes.

This video was an eye opener for me. Honestly confidence with something I never stopped to think about. I mean I think we focus on the brain fog being lifted but we don't have a tendency to look past that at things like confidence. And that question about how bad do you want it? Good job on the home repair! I just discovered and started Carnivore 2 months ago. My asthma is 85-90% improved. I got sick a couple of weeks ago, and for the first time in my life I got over it in a week, just like a normal person. It didn't go to my lungs and keep me sick for 3 months. I can't express how huge that is. Oh, and yes, the excess weight is coming off, too. 🙂

Thank you for the honesty. This is the first time seeing this video. I'm not a plumber at all, but I was wondering why you didn't use a pair of pliers to turn the water off in the shower? Or maybe a small pair of vise grips. Don't take my forward bluntness the wrong way. I'm 61 years old. 5' and at the moment around 190 pounds. At the end of January I started working my way into the carnivore way of life. Frost I'd like to heal my very messed up immune system. Then I think I'll focus on the rest. Out of the videos I've watched like you and your wife the most. Wishing everyone the best.

I did watch the original, last year. I am 70 so having more energy, along with less daily pain makes staying carnivore an easy choice. I do drink coffee with keto brains and LMNT most mornings, so maybe I am ketovore, but I mostly find beef, butter bacon and eggs, with the occasional dairy product or keto brick when traveling or on special occasions to be the most beneficial way of eating that I can be consistent with long term. I too found keto to have too difficult, just too many choices, for me to stay consistent long term.
