HAHAHA PREPARE FOR MORE
@@iang6118 me too, i can not wait
I watched it without concentrating while eating breakfast to prevent myself from crying. ···I cried. 😅Operation failed!🤣
Why did Usopp challenge a battle that didn't seem necessary?
I think it's his decision as a pirate, a declaration of intention that he's no longer a companion, and a complete farewell notice.
Based on that, Sanji may have stopped Chopper. For Usopp, I think it was also a fight to cut off his hesitation.

How many times you wanna watch this episode: yes
How many times you wanna receive emotional damage: yes
Fax it’s such a good moment yet such a frustrating moment as well
yes
"i want to live": yes
The Luffy and Sanji fight was just as emotion
Water 7 was basically Oda flexing his writing skills. From the characters, conflicts, plot points, world building, and twists and turns, everything was perfection.
Watching them argue about the ship was very emotional 😔
This is actually more than just about the ship. In fact, Luffy had already made up his mind to buy a new one even before this duel. There are so many deeper symbolisms at play here, and that's why Oda did such an amazing job writing this arc. 🥺
Seeing Luffy like that at the end gets me everytime
I hate seeing him cry 🥺💔
That’s like the first time we see him cry after the shanks flashback

when luffy cries, I just cannot hold anymore
The first few times I watched this episode I was frustrated with Usopp because he kept insisting that Merry can be fixed while at the same time assuming that replacing Merry was an easy decision for Luffy to make. When it really wasn’t. The first few times and for a long time, I did not understand why Usopp was being stubborn. I was frustrated with how he was adamant about fixing Merry. In the past, I viewed Usopp’s retaliation as very negative. That Luffy as the captain did not deserve to be treated with disrespect. Before, I had viewed Usopp as a crewmember who was stubborn and did not repect Luffy and that all of “that” was the point of the fight. HOWEVER, it wasn’t until I recently rewatched this arc that I realized how wrong I was at this one dimensional judgment (fastforward to say….700 episodes later, me growing up, etc. rewatched early OP during the pandemic). I kept asking what point Oda was trying to make with this debacle? It wasn’t until I really looked at the characters themselves and not the plot to understand the conflict. You see, all this time, Usopp has been showing insecurities. Usopp is the person who fixes Merry but is not a trained shipwright himself. Usopp is their sharpshooter but has been showing insecurities as being one of the weaker members of the crew: “I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I’ve been thinking that I can’t keep up with your monstrous strength.” This insecurity was even more fueled by Merry being unfixable, unable to sail, and therefore have no more purpose for the crew. Usopp’s insecurity has now projected unto the Merry. His thoughts that he no longer has a purpose have heightened to another level and were finally validated with Luffy’s stupid blunder….: “Fine! If you dislike the decisions that I make that much, then you can go ahead and get off this-” And what really got me after the rewatch was that part about Sanji kicking Luffy before he was able to finish the sentence. At this point, Luffy was full of anger so I’m glad Sanji did what he did but even then it was too late. Usopp heard and already knew. I’m going to go off on a tangent but this part and a few moments later really showed how much Sanji’s character is rooted in kindness all this time. You see, Sanji understands how Usopp feels. Sanji’s empathy towards Usopp is shown time and time again later….First when Sanji (unnecessarily) starts arguing with Zoro saying if only Zoro injured Franky Family, then Usopp would have won against them.: “Why did you not fight Franky family? If you had, then Usopp wouldn’t have been attacked and felt guilty.” And the second show of Sanji’s empathy was when he stops Chopper from treating Usopp’s wounds after the Luffy n Usopp fight saying that on top of losing, being pitied is the worst.: “Imagine how much suffering ‘careless kindness’ can cause the loser.”…. Yes, Sanji was concerned about the crew (his found family) slowly falling apart and was scared of that; but he was ALSO mostly empathetic towards Usopp yet calculating how each of the crew’s (mostly Luffy’s) actions can culminate to the complete breakup of the crew. There was so much going on within the characters in these two episodes. These were just my observations from Usopp and Sanji as characters. All this time, Luffy was discovering what it TRULY means to be a captain. Nami and Chopper are so affected that all they can do is cry and feel broken. Meanwhile, Zoro all this time has remained strong for everyone- a necessary pillar that their crew needs. I want to get more into all of them but there are so many character analysis videos out there from talented OP creators. I guess this is now my cue to watch those.
Wow! This is such a wonderful analysis. Absolutely correct on how every other crew member played their own necessary role during this scene. I loved the scene when Sanji kicked Luffy just before he was about to say... made the whole scene so much intense than it already was. Great character development just right there. This painful argument and the crew breaking apart never feels forced at any time in how it plays; which is tough for not just mangas/ animes but many great shows out there. Just goes to show how brilliant Oda is in what he does.
This freaking arc has so much feels. And they are still just easing us in and building up even at this.
This fight hurts every time
i remember the first time i watched this i was crying but its still an awesome moment to see how far usopp was willing to go for merry usopp became one of my favorite characters after this
I love you guys reaction they are so pure and speak about it with passion ❤
Great way to start the new year, amazing reaction. I always shed a few tears when I watch this episode
zoro level headed is really something. "this is what it means to be captain, right?"
5:09 her face 😭
When Ussop got to know about who's the Main character here.🤣
In this arc I really can see sanji kindness
Your channel is so amazing, your reaction is so good keep it up
Ayooo who's cutting up onions in here??
Usopp is not weak per se, people tend to forget the fact that he's the crew's sniper. Snipers dont necessarily engage in close quarter combats, which have been the majority of fights in OP. But later on in this arc, he'll have his spotlight
my new fave channel to watch...
i hope many reaction channels starts watching One Piece.
This is why I love One Piece. They have the balls to tell real and compelling stories. Yes, it's tough to watch but it would be boring if it was Sesame Street all the time
Lmao her face when he said the episode went by quick
In this episode, oda proves that Usopp is brave and has unique fighting power and he is a genius in the Mugiwara crew
Damn, this fight never ceases to gut-punch me in the feels, whether in manga or anime form. It really feels like the crew is breaking apart with all this drama..... 😢
One of the saddest moments in OP.
At the time in this story, Oda commented.
Oda『One less friend during this story.』
My favorite fight in the entire series made all the better for the emotional damage .
This arc is one if the turning points in this story, the tone starts to get more and more serious. 🐏
This arc and following one made me a fan of OP.
yep this hurts more
Only One Piece could make me cry over a fucking boat
no matter how many time you re watch this, it will alasy be sad
This eps never easy to watch. But so important for the straw hats
and they say this is "just an anime"
I love your reaction One piece I would have also liked to see the reactions at arlong park etc
The feels.
well, yeah he is still the captain and has to make the decisions, and that was the problem, an argument with someone else from the crew, hadn't been that escalating
One Piece = Emotions unleashed💔
Don't worry guys we got someone who will replace Usopp, a Legendary masked character will soon make an appearance.
usopp says he is a coward but even so he challenged the strongest of the gang to a duel and managed to be at the level even though he could not win
Dang, Jackie is so sweet today 😂😂
Thanks for the reaction
The best and worst fight in the series! I cry every time 😛
Nope, u forgot sanji vs Luffy. That was even worse
@@mocciamassimiliano14 I find that sad in another way, but this one was more emotional for me.

If luffy cries we’re the ones are hurt more😢
Zoro and Sanji speeches after the fight are wonderful, about not pity with the loser because you make things worst and the toughness of being a captain, in particular the future pirate king

*The only odd part about this is how Nami assumes Luffy should apologise… Like for what? Because he stated the truth about the Going Merry being done? I agree Luffy has many moments he needs to apologise for, but this conflict is completely Usopp’s fault.*
Then Sogeking was born
Zoro the 🐐
Warning, episode 312 is gonna hit HARD.
Don't do that . Let them enjoy the journey.
delete this bro🥴 why even you wanna spoil

Hate Usopp as a character. The only time he fights serious is against his own crew. He is a pathetic loser.
