I don’t think that’s where it’s supposed to go in the song. it seems to be an overlay for the backing track, to create a harmony. Here’s probably where it’s supposed to go: 3:06
How has this never been documented before? What other songs have secret melodies we don't know about lol Edit: just remembered that there's one in the final boss/Big Arms theme. There's a short little twinkle that's supposed to play before the song loops but it's assigned to an invalid instrument so it never gets heard in-game. You can hear it in the PC version as well as Mastered Realm's Remastered Mixes of the Prototype songs
Huh, if this is fr then I wonder WHY it never went used, considering Jackson's Act 2 tracks are so samey and even a minor touch up like this could make them slightly more worth listening to
@@MDTravisYT I know about Sonic 3 credits unused music sequence. I wonder why they scrap it? It sound good. There also an Angel Island unused music sequence in S&K credits🤨? How many soundtrack in final Sonic 3 does have unused music sequences?
sounds like something out of a silvagunner video

I agree, we need to see the true placement!

Possibly may have unused discoverys too...🤔
There’s a lot of undocumented stuff, for sure.
Edit: that wrong assigned instrument issue was for Azure Lake’s ending twinkle
That's only in the PC version. The Genesis version doesn't have this.
@@MDTravisYT Really?
Emerald coast from sonic adventure has unused part because game plays this music only to 3:01 but this music by itself longer than 3:01
1:16 So that's the unused part, lmao. I didn't relieased until i heard this part...😅
it also happens in the beginning btw
Did you completely gloss over the beginning?

It's real. Found right below the data of the used melody.
@@MDTravisYT Yeah, but i dislike that quick strange noise...
@@MDTravisYT Are there more unused music sequence in final Sonic 3?
@@tylerparkes-jk7uv Yes there are. Some examples include Angel Island in the S&K credits, and an extra section in the S3 alone credits.

sounds like a silvagunner rip
this sounds incredibly cursed
There is an older theme in the 1103 prototype for carnival night
Proof?
@@emul8orgamer I think they're referring to the original ost for Sonic 3
It doesn't sound as good at first, but it gives it a more Act 2 feeling.
oh jesus
1:26 That part really hurts...😬
Interesting!
when was this found? It’s interesting to find more documented secrets in S3.
Unsure when this was originally found, though I found this earlier today.
@@MDTravisYT OK
that's jarring.!

Carnival night act 1.5
woah! are you the first person to discover this?
I wasn't the first to discover this.
@@MDTravisYT oh ok cool, i only ask because i’ve never heard of this at all in the past, quite interesting
Try doing this but with Act 1
is there a sonic 3 air mod for this?
