Dear Laura , 2 tips for you : 1) you can cock the roast pistachio with the milk 20 min' and after that grind them {its became more paste} 2) you can whisk whole eggs and you dont need just egg yolk. by theway I very like your channel ♥

I actually made ice cream today, but it wasn't a custard. I made a sugar free (with erythritol) coffee ice cream. I did warm it up a bit so the erythretol and instant coffe could disolve. Maybe I will try the pistachio. i am a little troubled about throwing out the pistachios because they are very expensive. But I agree I would want it smooth. I was wondering if it was necessary to toast them. It seemed maybe unnecessary since you would never eat them
