    Wow! We're melting. West Coast soaring temps. Thank you! Finally I understand gelato. Does your recipe yield 3 pints? Why not? It's I'd like to watch more gelatos: perhaps lemon, chocolate, or matcha? I'm converting your instructions for Ninja Creami. I'm preparing conversion to keto: substitutions: monk fruit & erithritol for sugar; almond milk, heavy cream in lieu of whole milk; coconut or olive oil for pistachio paste. Final, haha, touches: emulsifier: guar gum; ending with 2 oz vodka (to prevent excess icing, so I've learned!) Ta-dah! As another fan wrote, "Que emocion!" We're excited.

      Yes, this recipes are with out eggs, there are other recipes that have egg yolks.

      You need you use an oil that doesn’t have a flavour, like the Olive oil or peanut oil, it has to be a neutral one like the corn oil.

THANKS FOR REACHING OUT TO ME.YOU CAN FIND VERY CHEAP GELATYO MACHINES IN AMAZON, BUT IF YOU CAN'T FOR ANY REASON, YOU CAN PUT THE MIXED GELATO IN THE FREEZER AND WHEN IT'S A LITTLE BIT FROZZEN TURN IT ARROUND , PUT IT BACK AND DO IT AGAIN, LIKE FOR EVERY 20 MINS. UNTIL IT GETS SOLID IT MEANS IT IS READY, IT MIGHT BE NOT AS CREAMY AS IT SHOULD BE BUT THE FLAVOUR WILL BE GREAT TOO. LET ME KNOW HOW IT COMES OUT!

    I tried putting the pistachios in the microwave for 2 min. it came out burnt and tasted like burnt popcorn XD. will try roasting in the oven instead.

      Hi! Put them in the microwave for 30 s. Take them out and mix them see how the come and if not roasted put them back another 30 s. Every oven it’s different so you can try this way

      85 gr Fresh heavy whipping cream

    Nice video. Pleaae help..my wife is fed uo with me because I keep trying to perfect the vanilla gelato Rossi of Southend used to serve us as kids and Ive never mastered it.
    I keep getting close but I cant quite get that lovely pure flavour right. So ive trued single cream but it came out with crystals or fatty lumps and tasted icy but seemed fresher. Double cream seems to smother the flavours.

      @@WeAreFatamorgana Hi. Rossi is a well known ice cream maker in Southend here in the uk. When I was a kid I used to eat it every evening when the ice cream van came round. The flavour was unique and fantastic.
      May I ask if you would use single cream to improve flavours? Does double cream smouther flavours?

      @@sj460162 Well it's up to you, the fater the cream, the better consistency of gelato you will get, but if you want it lighter, you can also use a low fat cream, but the milk has to be whole milk.

      Hello, thanks for your question. It is not necessary to cool down the liquid, but if you do put it in the freezer to cool down it will take much less time for the Gelato to be done.

    Great video! What a terrible machine. To get the gelato out you have this impossible to clean plastic monstrosity that looks like a total pain to use every time.
