Some time-saving and flavour-enhancing tips: - I bought already de-shelled pistachios - As I have a Nutribullet, not a conventional blender, I added a little cream to the pistachios for blending - that saves a little time and avoids damaging the blades - Adjust the ratios of condensed milk and the cream to get the level of sweetness you want - As mentioned by someone else, it's good to add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavours - I prefer it without the crushed pistachio It's so delicious! So tasty! Thank you! A new subscriber!! Ingredients: 250g Pistachio paste 1 can (400g/14oz) Sweetened condensed milk 2 cup (480ml) Heavy cream, cold Vanilla extract (optional) Directions: 1. Make pistachio paste: peel the pistachios from the shell. Then place them in a clean kitchen towel and shake to remove as much skin as possible. 2. Place the pistachios (250-300g) in a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy. This process may take 10-15 minutes (depending on your blender) so be patient. Transfer the paste into a bowl, if in this stage the paste is warm place in the fridge. 3. In a large bowl, place cold heavy cream. Whip to stiff peaks. Add sweetened condensed milk, pistachio paste and whisk on low speed until incorporated. Chop 1/4 of pistachios and add to the ice cream, gently fold. This step is optional. 4. Transfer into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. 5. Serve!
Suggestion: To be easier to obtain the pistachio cream, add 1/2 of condensed milk over the pistachios while creaming. The other half of milk goes over the heavy cream as you did in this video. You will see it’s much easier to remove the pistachio cream from mixer and integrate into the ice cream.

@@lyndayates7533 Pretty sure you don't add anything but the natural oil inside the pistachio becomes released. Works the same way for peanut butter where you keep blending dry peanuts until you get a buttery consistency
Never add any oil!! Pistachio,like other nuts contain oil,when you put themn in a 1000+ watt capacity blender the machine is strong enough to make nut cream. You only need a 1000+ watt capacity blender and you can make any nut cream

My experience blending nuts is (surprisingly) whatever amount of nuts used yields the same amount of nut butter. So 300 g nuts yields 300 g nut butter.
It's up to you. If you like salty ice cream, you can use salted pistachios, if you don't like salty ice cream, use unsalted pistachios. I used unsalted.
hi, I already try your recipe but has some problem, my Icecream didn't cold and didn't melt, it feel like just eat a pistachio cream not icecream, how can i fix it?
I wasn't psychologically prepared for the amount of work it took to make the pistachio paste...worst part is that after all that work I ended up over churning and now I have what looks like pistachio butter 🤦♂️
I don’t really see how this can taste bad though. You probably wanted the other green pastacio type flavor like 31 flavors . Maybe more sugar but it seems that you might just not like this type of ice cream

Never add water while making ice cream because water will crytallize and your end result will not be creamy but more like icy

I used dates and just 2 teaspoons of condensed milk and it came out perfectly. I think dates would be sufficient for you
