He should be in the Hall of Fame for sure! Fact is that he was not a great worker but he was a big draw and he had a good run at both companies

Grew up a huge Lex Luger fan. I was all in for the Made in the USA Lex and was a supporter ever since. When Lex beat Hogan for the WCW title, it was such a big moment, I can remember the chills and goosebumps from that hot summer night, watching. Hall of Fame worthy through and through

I watched the complete Deadwood series after it was all out. I loved it! It probably didn't take me a week to watch it all. I called everybody cocksucker for months after. lol I still do that a lot. Of course, it's all in fun.

Lex Luger Was Excellent From 1996-1999. He's Bigger Than Shawn Michaels & Triple H. Shawn Michaels A Small Heavyweight Became Star/Was Top WWE Star When The WWE Were In The Gutter. Lex Luger Held His Own With Big Guys/The Top Guys Top When Both Companies Were Great During The Early 90's & He Was Super Over In 1997. Lex Luger Was A Super Man. Triple H Wasn't Super Man Nor Has He Showed Great Feats Of Strength(Lifting Someone 400 Pounds Or More Up). Triple H Never Took On 3 Wrestlers By Himself. I Don't Remember See Him Taking On 2 Guys By Himself. Austin & The Rock Weren't Super Men. They Couldn't Take On Degeneration X By Themselves. On The Last Thunder Before Super Brawl Sting & Lex Luger Each Took On 9 Out Of 10 NWO Members. In 2001, Austin Plotted With WCW To Let Him Give Stunner So He Can Join Them. He Could Not Give All DX A Stunner By Himself. Between Luger & Helmsley, Lex Luger Has Greatest Moments That Are Praised.
And Austin & The Rock Couldn't Take On The McMahon/Helmsley Faction The Both Of Them. Sting & Lex Luger Would've Taken On The McMahonHelmsleyFaction By Themselves

Love the podcast. Not too sound like a negative mark, but I alwasy thought the torture rack was an awful finisher, next to the leg drop by hogan. Hard to believe anyone in the rack was really in pain.

36:06 Except it really doesn't. Usually the "multiple bell" thing happens AFTER a match is thrown out. Sorry Eric, calling bullshit on this one. It's actually pretty in-line with WCW's admitted history of issues with finishes.
43:30 Hard disagreement. The constant endings with the NWO run-ins became a tired trope by this point, Wolfpack or no. And the whole "tune in next week!" mentality is what made me switch to WWF permanently, because they were producing tight stand-alone episodes of RAW that often had decent payoffs AND built to their PPV's. In contrast, WCW's botched Starcade 97 finish was made all the worse by the constant "tune in next week!" NWO run-in nonsense. Literally, I came back a year or so later and the product was unrecognizable.
Eric doesn’t understand that shows that have cliffhangers doesn’t run 52 shows a year…. But I won’t lie WCW had no chance because they didn’t understand or couldn’t accept that wrestling got lucky and isn’t really the coolest thing so ratings were going to drop no matter what.
