One hint to help fruits or nuts stay sugared, use unflavored gelatin that is watered down, the gelatin will act as a glue and the sugar won't fall off!
@@TheCraftyGalCarla I forgot to add, let them dry a bit so becomes tacky so it wouldn't dissolve the sugar. I have a mini cooling rack that I set them on in a tray to let the excess drip off so there wouldn't be any hanging globs.

@@ellendelima3579 yeah too much meat for one person and would make it too expensive for me. I’d stick to rolling or layering each slice. Maybe add some fancy toothpicks in a cup. Everything looks beautiful though.🌹
Awesome video, sincerely. You should have at least a half million followers, no kidding. Your videos are among some of the best I’ve seen especially when it comes to charcuterie boards. I will be making this exact board at least twice this coming holiday season. Edited to add: When someone compliments me on my great board, I will definitely be telling them about your UA-cam channel!

I love it! Giving me great ideas for the Holidays. I shared the Halloween one with my daughter-in-law who loves putting together charcuterie boards. Thank you for your creative ideas!
Great ideas! The rosemary is a terrific addition! Will give this a try-going to add some fig jam as suggested, as well as some olives, nuts, and sliced pears. Many thanks!
The rose are meant to be taken apart meat petal by meat petal. So when you’re having one just grab a couple petals and you’ll get slices of salami or whatever kind of meat it is.
Love the look !! I wonder if the rose would stay it’s shape without the toothpicks , because I don’t know how u pull it apart to eat with toothpicks in place .
@@genayates7335 ya i have never seen anyone serve them with toothpicks, in this case it would be hard to separate them. Sorry, like I said my first attempt and a little inexperienced. Thank you. Loved that you used produces that are affordable and delicious.

There are actually a couple of things you can do to transport it :) You can definitely put it in a box if you have one that is big enough for your board. You can also make the charcuterie on a board that has borders to it which helps to keep everything in place and inside when your traveling. They sell nice and affordable wooden trays like this at HomeGoods. Another thing you can do is lightly plastic wrap it to help keep items in place during travel and then just adjust anything that might have moved when you arrive. Truly hope this helps! ❤️🥰
You are the best at creating a beautiful board with great ideas and directions. Since it takes awhile to make can I make this the night before? I love to create but I need some time and I won't have the time I need.
Great question! Sometimes I do like to remove the toothpicks from the rose right before serving so it's easier for guests to dig in. The rose still tends to keep its shape as long as there are other items on the board surrounding it. But some guests are afraid to pick into the rose at first because they don't want to ruin the presentation, but eventually as they start picking at the other items they start taking pieces from the roses too :)
What a Gorgeous board. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I am new to your channel. May you have a Blessed Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. ❤❤❤
What a beautiful board. Thank you for sharing. I do have a question though as I have never made a Charcuterie board. Your prosciutto and salami roses are so pretty but do you take the toothpicks out when serving? Or how do the guests get them apart? Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! 💖 So happy that you loved the board! As far as the toothpicks go, guests usually tend to just pull the salami petals right off the toothpicks as they pick at the board when I have left them in the rose. But you can definitely remove it before serving to make it easier! You can also always do your salami roses last and nestle them in a tighter area so you don't have to use the toothpicks to keep them secure. Typically if the roses are tightly surrounded by other items they don't tend to come undone over time :) For the proscuitto I just place them as is without any toothpicks! Also wanted to mention that you can also put your salami roses in a clear plastic ramekin (jello shot cups). This works great for very large boards, and is easy for guests to remove as well! Truly hope this helps & as always feel free to let me know if you have any questions at all! :) 💕
What an awesome creation! A true work of art. Question: if you are making these and selling, do you add a map of all the ingredients, or take a pic and label the pic? Any suggestions welcome. Thank you, so many people with allergies theses days, want to be sure to get it right.
