One hint to help fruits or nuts stay sugared, use unflavored gelatin that is watered down, the gelatin will act as a glue and the sugar won't fall off!
@@TheCraftyGalCarla I forgot to add, let them dry a bit so becomes tacky so it wouldn't dissolve the sugar. I have a mini cooling rack that I set them on in a tray to let the excess drip off so there wouldn't be any hanging globs.
I use miniature bowls to add the pomegranits with a mini spoon so my guests can spoon them onto their plate so they can be eaten, not just for decoration.
The board is beautiful! As a guest I would have concern about the meat roses, How does one maneuver getting a slice of mest? A whole rose is quite a bit of meat. Otherwise it is truly lovely.
@@kerrygordon1088 You don't have to be ungracious with your emojis. I still think there are people who would not enjoy trying to unravel the meat roses.
I was thinking the same about the rose design. Too much for one person. Maybe an alternative with only 2 or 3 on a toothpick neatly nested . Or on a separate board….
@@ellendelima3579 yeah too much meat for one person and would make it too expensive for me. I’d stick to rolling or layering each slice. Maybe add some fancy toothpicks in a cup. Everything looks beautiful though.🌹
I love it! Giving me great ideas for the Holidays. I shared the Halloween one with my daughter-in-law who loves putting together charcuterie boards. Thank you for your creative ideas!
Awesome video, sincerely. You should have at least a half million followers, no kidding. Your videos are among some of the best I’ve seen especially when it comes to charcuterie boards. I will be making this exact board at least twice this coming holiday season. Edited to add: When someone compliments me on my great board, I will definitely be telling them about your UA-cam channel!
Looks wonderful! I think your mouth was watering, I know mine was lol . It would be interesting to know what this board would cost you to make this Christmas as prices for food have gone up so much! I'm in Canada 🇨🇦 so most of the prices you showed were cheaper than ours and when you said the double brie was 2.99 I went ewh 😟 it seemed too cheap to be nice! Here it costs $7. I love pomegranates ! A small cup is 3.99 here. Love those German gingerbread cookies with the ' houses' but if you look carefully they can be all different designs in one package. They have been making them for hundreds of years! ❤😋 I have never heard of that Manchego cheese but will keep my eye out for it as now I'm dieing to try it! I'm not a goat cheese lover but your right I would try it lol Thank you so much for sharing your artistry ! 💗🙏
Wonderful Tutorial Carla, excellent taste in choosing cheeses and charcuterie, combining them harmoniously with fruits and other edible and decorative elements that make your creations very special... You can see that you know what you're doing... I'm Latina and I would appreciate it if you added subtitles in Spanish to your videos so as not to lose details of your comments... This turned out beautifully! A great combination of meats and cheeses with the perfect sprinkling of sweets. I was surprised by the lack of nuts, but with the number of folks with nut allergies, it is probably the safe way to go. I am not sure how the guests would go about choosing items from this festive display. First of all no one will want to be the first one to spoil the design, but also how would they go about removing something like salami? I am not too familiar with these boards, so would they need to remove the toothpicks from the rose first? Just curious.
What a fantastic presentation! Love your creativity and appreciate you sharing your talent in guiding us throughout the charcuterie process. The Christmas wreath is so charming, I hope to have my own little experiment soon. Merry Christmas to you and the YT family 🎄!

What a beautiful board. Thank you for sharing. I do have a question though as I have never made a Charcuterie board. Your prosciutto and salami roses are so pretty but do you take the toothpicks out when serving? Or how do the guests get them apart? Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! 💖 So happy that you loved the board! As far as the toothpicks go, guests usually tend to just pull the salami petals right off the toothpicks as they pick at the board when I have left them in the rose. But you can definitely remove it before serving to make it easier! You can also always do your salami roses last and nestle them in a tighter area so you don't have to use the toothpicks to keep them secure. Typically if the roses are tightly surrounded by other items they don't tend to come undone over time :) For the proscuitto I just place them as is without any toothpicks! Also wanted to mention that you can also put your salami roses in a clear plastic ramekin (jello shot cups). This works great for very large boards, and is easy for guests to remove as well! Truly hope this helps & as always feel free to let me know if you have any questions at all! :) 💕

Great question! Sometimes I do like to remove the toothpicks from the rose right before serving so it's easier for guests to dig in. The rose still tends to keep its shape as long as there are other items on the board surrounding it. But some guests are afraid to pick into the rose at first because they don't want to ruin the presentation, but eventually as they start picking at the other items they start taking pieces from the roses too :)
