Ha! Maybe I've been watching too many DIY videos lately. I thought she was going to actually build a charcuterie board...wood, handles, screws, etc. This was by far much better than I was expecting. But she always is! Thanks!
First of all, your energy as a presenter is so spot on! I’m probably your age and have four teen-to-adult kids who will be thrilled with this as our new breakfast/dinner plan! Thanks so much for liberating me from my meal plan slavery!!
I absolutely love, love, love a charcuterie board for the grandkids when they all come for dinner. I put out things that the little ones will like, and they are so happy to build their own plate. They eat much better and are more interested when they get to pick what they want on their plate. I include things that that cover all food groups and they have a ball.
Picking and choosing what I want, the different combinations of flavors and textures, the variety of items, eating as little or as much as I want, makes an easy light dinner but also perfect for parties, and it all pairs nicely with wine.... are all things I love about a charcuterie board!
This is awesome & I love the added ideas of a breakfast & dessert board!! I’ve never made one before and it seemed rather complicated, but this breaks it down in a simple to understand & easy follow way. The category breakdowns & examples are especially helpful. Thanks so much! Now my only problem is how to figure out what “pairs well together”…
I love these ideas! I usually create them with gluten/celiac disease guests in mind, so the crackers are separate and labeled. And also, severe nut allergies are in my guest circle, so the nuts are always in a separate plate or bowl. Charcuterie boards are beautiful! Thank you for your amazing presentations!
Thanks for the information! We are having Communion at church on New Years Eve and everyone is to bring a chartreuse board. Looking forward to making mine!! Thanks for the tutorial!!
I like the variety and presentation, yet at the same time offering my family or guest a healthy beautiful an alternative healthy choice of snacks. Thank you so much!🤗🤗
Have made many of these over the years. They’re fun to create & who doesn’t like anything resembling a buffet?! We traditionally create a breakfast one for Christmas morning. I’m with you, Nicole, & could have them at every meal!!
Awesome job. This is my plan for my birthday this year. I’m going to convert my dining room table into charcuterie board. Savory one one end, mild in the middle, and sweet on the other end. Some good ideas here.
We literally do a Charcuterie Board once a month and have been doing this in my family since before I was born... lol. Older siblings got something over on me in this department, anyways, I digress. We like to try to do theme boards in my home for like Valentines, Easter, Mother & Father's day, Beach, Summer, 4th of July, etc....I'm Danish, so lots of cheese in my boards, my kids are Italian, so they love their meat, step dad is Mexican, so we have A LOT of fun with that too. We do mix some candies, cakes, cookies, etc in with ours to keep the boards inviting for everyone. I love these because it's a no brainer, less mess to clean up and these are super for going on holiday to wherever,,, this is a time saver with all the flavor!! Love this channel to buts and pieces.
I am so HAPPY I found this video. You are not kidding, the breakfast board would be a HIT in any household. And, the "Sweet" board was just mouthwatering. YUMMY, YUMMY YUMMY!!! Thanks so much for sharing and the INSPIRATION!! Arlene
Since im on keto… i use cucumber rings as my crackers, Add a old sharp cheddar, boursin soft cheese, keto jam, olive paste and a touch of hot sauce on top! Yummm
Fantastic! I love the non-traditional boards you created! I am bringing a Super Bowl party charcuterie board, now I am doing a second one with desserts! Thank you for the ideas.
I loved this !!! I have never heard of the ..Board ..before just wanted you to know I'm 64 and learned something new I also plan to make it sometime...have to buy the board too. Thank you for sharing this with us
I will be making a few charcuterie board spreads, this holiday season. I shop at a high end thrift store, which gets an amazing assortment of cutting boards, china, dishes, platters, bowls... everything you need to create this work of edible art. Thanks for the video... it's very informative!
I got a round charcuterie board with the tools stored in a slide out area underneath, and the bowls included (4 that have built in spaces on the board you can remove.) For low carb you can put a little shredded cheese in the bottom of the muffin pan and bake til crispy. They are great as low carb crackers.
Add some pop to your sweet offerings with jalapeño jelly! There are many recipes on UA-cam. I use less vinegar and less sugar than most. I also seed the jalapeños completely.
i do a brunch managerie every sunday morning for the worship team (since we are there for 3 services), not on the level of the breakfast board you have here but this sunday, i will be doing it fancy shmancy.
A few years ago, I was invited to a fancy meet and greet that featured a supper fancy charcuterie board. It had caviar and smoked salmon, and fancy cheeses and pickles... But there was a whole corner dedicated to slices of hardboiled eggs. It had quail eggs, regular farm eggs and it had duck eggs. With the egg slices were 3 sauces/spreads. I remember being stunned by how delicious the eggs were with hunny mustard. Unfortunately by the time I got to it, there were only 2 slices of duck egg and one of quail so I mostly had the regular eggs, but they were heavenly. But since then, I've never seen hardboiled egg slices on other boards, besides the ones I put together. Everytime I put them on my boards though, they go fast, they are popular, specially with hunny mustard. They are great with caviar too, but pricey.

Haha! Glad you enjoyed!
Haha yes you have! Love it! ❤️
Well clearly because it's tasty but I mainly love it because a charcuterie spread means good times with friends/family.
Oh my gosh the breakfast board is genius! My Bookclub meets for brunch every other month and I’m making one!! Thanks for the fabulous ideas Nicole!
First of all, your energy as a presenter is so spot on! I’m probably your age and have four teen-to-adult kids who will be thrilled with this as our new breakfast/dinner plan!
Thanks so much for liberating me from my meal plan slavery!!
I’ve been Keto and carb deprived,🙃 for 3 years, so being able to enjoy and eat something fun, along with everyone else…IS EVERYTHING!
Best part is making it with my daughter and enjoying it in the garden of a summer evening ❤❤

As soon as I get enough money for meat and cheese I’m going to get right on it. Love this.

My favorite part is like you said...finding that perfect bite. A bite that makes your mouth seek out the different flavors.

My favorite Friday night meal! Everyone gets what they want. A nice glass of wine and boom...is done!

I enjoy all the different flavors. Sometimes I like appetizers as a meal. Especially when I can’t decide.
Nuts and fruits, olives, are some my favorites. Spreadable cheese with herbs etc. yum
Because my sister makes them when I visit, and I love her to pieces! We don't get to see each other so much these days that we are older.
Beautiful combination of colors and tastes...u ll finally get something u love in that board...
I love the display of so many items in 1 space - I think it’s healthier in place of chips and dip
Lunchables prepared me for this lifestyle years ago😍😍😍

My favorite part is being able to select a variety of finger foods with different flavors and textures that are delicious to my palate.😋
Me: those are too beautiful to eat 😍
Also me: I could destroy each of those boards in 1 setting 😋
Same! Lol

Hmmm I may try the breakfast board for our group trip to hawaii
Love it!!
I don't get the hype over a board that everyone makes their own appetizer bites, especially with a pandemic. But I do love to watch Nicole.
This was the best video I've seen so far on this subject, thank you!
I think people love charcuterie so much because we grew up with lunchables.
