How about painting "Support Democratic Communism" in the Endzone? When I see signs that support the organization that really supports the same ideals as listed in the Communist Manifesto, it makes me think about all the lives lost due to dictatorships that arise from it (Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Chavez, and Castro). I'm all for Equality and Fairness for all people, but not by making everyone poor unless you are in the government elite. Venezuela tried this 20 years ago. Having a 24 year old millionaire tell me how to live is stunning. He has very little life experience to call on. He grew up privileged in Texas, I think Adam hit the nail on the head, he is not aware of what he is doing. Young people think they are doing something special today, it's like they never opened a history book. I grew up in the 60's and these kids today are nothing like we were then. I wish he would talk with both sides and then decide if he should take knee during the national anthem. Go talk with some black ex solders in wheelchairs and see how they feel about him disrespecting the flag. I had season tickets for 28 years and can no longer go because of my health. I am very happy that I will never see him take a knee at Arrowhead. And I am sad to say that I will not watch the games if he does this.
You act like Pat and other players don't have black parents, aunts/uncle's, and grandparents who grew up in that same era and experienced hate. My father is 56 years old and had the KKK burn a cross on his lawn. My grandmother was mixed when it was illegal for black & whites to marry. Where in the Constitution does it say you can't kneel during the anthem? This has nothing to do with disrespecting veterans. First veterans have fought and died to provide their people with freedom. The right to exercise those rights! If you are mad about people taking a knee then you've already missed the whole point. You are to caught up in your own personal feelings (that is your right as well) to listen and understand a bigger issue at hand.
