- In an exclusive interview with FOX4, Pat Mahomes Sr. talks about Patrick's half-brother, Graham Walker, an All-American wide receiver and yearning NFL player.
I appreciate the respect he had for graham’s mother and stepfather on how they have raised graham.
I thought the same thing too. But then I wondered if maybe it was common knowledge this guy really we didn’t raise him, or whatever happened, so he didn’t really have a choice but to admit it. So I don’t have any clue.

The sports admissions are a bit different there. They took guys w/ lower SAT scores & GPA's, who played hockey for 5-years at various New England prep schools (in high school they were referred to as the "5-year plan" guys).
Brown's Athletics Review Committee Report FAQ's page states, "Currently, 225-230 of the slots in our first year class of 1,485 are allotted to recruited varsity athletes."
That's a ~15% acceptance rate vs. 5.5% (2021) for all other applicants. It basically improves an applicant's odds x3!
@Carolyn-vh4nz WTF are you blabbering about? Unless you're legacy and your parents made significant donations to the University, just a parent's bank account doesn't get you in. Take it from someone who was accepted to several Ivy League schools. Yes, football definitely helped ... but grades, my tests scores, extracurricular activities were critical. I know plenty of richfamilies who couldn't get their kids into the Ivy Leagues.

If one person makes it in a family it's easier for everyone else cause of privilege and opportunity.
