FYI: I received the unit the other day (01Sep2022) and noticed that the red tubing does not go through the saddle as described in the video. It appears the saddle hole has been redesigned to not penetrate the main drain pipe. To ensure the holes matched up, since I couldn’t use the hose to align the main drain pipe hole, tube, and saddle…I connected the saddle without the red tube attached first. I tightened it enough so I could move the saddle but also stay in place. I then used a rod and inserted it into the saddle to locate the main drain hole. I used a 1/4” punch, but something as common as a chopstick would probably work as well. Once the holes were aligned, I left the punch in place and tightened down the saddle completely. The last step was to install the red tubing. No leaks😉 The rest of the install was the same as the vid. Very happy with the system so far.
@@waterdropfilter.official No worries. I apologize if it came across negatively. Just wanted to let you and the viewers know, and also suggest the work around that worked for me. I’m glad you guys are looking to improve your product. Not having it stick into the pipe is definitely a better design🤙
