      The Christian White European Civilization of Rome started from 333 to 1453 that was the time when real Roman empire started with Constantinople being its capital and Roman Greece its official state language and Christianity its official state religion the faith the capital the language the nation that emperor Constantine the first a Latin started ! the Roman dynasty officially moved from Rome to Constantinople ! I'm not a Christian but I know the history of Roman empire and Latin centric Roman empire wasn't Christian it was polytheistic empire but Greece Romans are the once who started to inforce christianity in all parts of Roman empire by orders from the Roman dynasty bcuz Greece is very close to Assyrian and Aramaic languages ( the original languages of Middle east in pre Islamic middle east ) so reading bible and understanding it was easy !

Do you seriously believe anybody travels to Italy to see what it's done lately? It's the same with Egypt and Greece. In all three cases, their ancient ancestors were far more creative, ingenious, productive, successful, important, memorable, happier and interesting than they are today. It isn't very likely that a millennium or two from now, scholars will say, "Behold the wonder, the majesty, and the glory that was 21st century Italy, Greece, and Egypt."

      Daniel Čosić The Roman Empire fell within a Century after adopting Christianity it left a bleeding nation divided, without Christianity Rome may have been able to recover, but their (Christianity) tolerance (or lack their of) of other religions drove an overpowering wedge between the Roman populous. They preserves the language of an empire they are in a large part responsible for killing.

      Corrupted Archangel The Roman Empire fell cos of economy facts, bread and circuses was a good way to got people happy, but they actuallly get that workers on fields started to think that they would be better reciving bread than making it, so they massively travel to the big citys and the economy fell, after that the army generals decided to get independient from the capital and the empire fell against the invaders

    • @MrAlepedroza
      @MrAlepedroza 3 роки тому +3

      @@matteolorusso5523 Nope. That's an outdated Gibbonian myth that's no longer respected by modern historiography, just still parroted by people who haven't made any actual research after high school and just read forums.
      Religion didn't bring down Rome, Gibbons only said that because he equated christianity with weakness and dissafection with earthly worriess...
      The first argument falls apart just by taking a short look at history: sure, because the Spanish Tercios, Russian Streltsy, English troopers, Napoleonic soldiers and Catalan Almogavars were all weak cuz they prayed to Jesus rather than Jupiter. Bullshit. Anyone who has read the Old Testament and the Revelations can find out Yahweh is a violent god and that Jesus is the kne who destroys the world at the end.
      The second argument is even sillier. The biggest development of Western Civilization came from the already christian nations of Europe and North America, whuch gave birth to our modern world.
      What did bring down Rome, then? Several factors, but the main ones also brought down several other societies: Bad economy and endless political instability drained the empire's resources, leading the Western half too weak to keep repelling the germans forever and leaving the Eastern Half too exposed on different fronts to be expected to make it to our days.
