I admit it was the strongest. but not to the extent of actualluy being dominant. just strong. this planet earth never tolerated just one empire, and it still holds true to this date. I am an actual descender of a minor emperor and really all of this is utter historical bullshit, kinda like frogs fighting each other over a tiny pond

But, in a world of "great spaces" like US, China or India, we europeans have a great incentive to build our own "great space" without self-destructing ourselves (as in WWI and WWII).

Presumably it is artistic license.
You are correct and it sounds far too modern to actually be from the Roman Era. The instrumentation and structure does not sound ancient. Nonetheless this is a great piece that embodies the power of the Roman empire
