  • I review 2 studies looking at COVID natural immunity in this video. They are both peer-reviewed and recently published. Both look at the antibody response with COVID natural immunity. Duration of the antibody response with COVID natural immunity is investigated in one study and the antibody response to COVID natural immunity in comparison to vaccination is compared in the other study.

I got infected with the Alpha strain in early 2020, Delta in November 2021 and Omicron in January 2022. I only noticed the last infection slightly. The same goes for my wife, who is a healthcare worker, working in an elderly home. We are not vaccinated and treated as dangerous individuals in Belgium... When my wife was infected (confirmed) she had to go to work dispite her being infected because her vaccinated colleagues were sitting at home with severe symptoms.
Nothing about all this makes sence anymore!

Wow, my house was infected almost the exact sequence as you. First time was Alpha in Nov 2020, no vaccine available yet in my country for our age group. So once infected, we didn’t think it made sense to get vaccinated (natural immunity). When the breakthrough cases occurred on people who were vaccinated in 2021, we still thought it wasn’t right to vaccinate. If they are still getting it after being vaccinated and we’d already had it, why bother? We got Delta June 2021. Then we got Omicron Jan 2022. Not one time did we require medical intervention. In fact we haven’t trusted a doctor since this started and no one in our home has seen a doctor in 2.5 years. This whole Covid mess has definitely made trust issues between patients and healthcare professionals. The biggest problem I have was the pushing of vaccines on everyone. We did our own risk benefit analysis because our doctor was pushing the vaccine. Our assessment was right. In my home province there were 3 x $1 MILLION incentive prizes given by government to try and coerce people to vaccinate plus many smaller cash awards (Alberta, 🇨🇦), google it, no lie. That should tell you there was something very, very wrong.

(sorry, this ended up being so long, but felt the need to cover all the bases as there are so many sociologically & scientifically illiterate armchair virologists in YT comments who would try to debate these points individually, so I covered all the bases to shut down any such nonsensical naivety b4 they even try.)
It doesn't make sense because you're healthcare workers, not business men/woman. If you looked at the world through the lens of fortune 500 CEOs & WEF executive class members, took note of the entities who own what mRNA patents, what entities funded the research into said patents, what entities stand to profit from forcing mRNA "vaccines" (which with an average efficacy of only 77% are just glorified boosters) upon medically illiterate, you'd quickly realize that everything we're witnessing makes perfect sense.
At BEST, this is an intentional, long game, culling of the population.
At worst, the scientific community has fallen victim to hubris that just because we can develop "vaccines" that we can outpace the rate of mutation & spread of ever more robust & drug resistant viruses.
But you tell me. Have practicing clinicians & research scientists just lost their mind & thrown decades of research regarding the arms race between drug development verses the evolutionary fitness of mutant bacteria/viruses that emerge within poorly immunized environments (bodies) that have only developed immunity to limited characteristics (spike protein)?
When you stop pretending COVID virus is some kind of magical invisible creature unlike anything else we've ever observed on the planet, it becomes painfully clear why we're witnessing what we are regarding the virus's risk towards those with natural immunity verses "vaccinated" immunity. Personally, this is why I've never gotten booster shots for the common flu either. It's been known for decades that we're driving ourselves off a cliff towards super bacteria (and now super viruses) due to our profound hubris in believing we can outpace micro-organisms which reproduce at a rate of a quintillion new offspring every second with each of those offspring having the potential to possess an even more drug resistant and/or dangerous mutation.
But no, as I eluded to in the beginning, this actually has nothing to do with public health or scientific consensus. It's corporate hubris desire to ensure they can continue to profit off of the sick, by developing treatments as opposed to preventative/cures which can only be sold to consumers once. There's no long-term value to be extracted from disease prevention, but ineffective treatments.. well that's a trillion dollar business model. So whether intentional or not, sociopathic corporate profit motives are going to result in the deaths of far more people than the virus would have ever killed if we allowed it to run it's natural course (especially considering how low of a mortality rate the original variant had). Our response was that of a helicopter parent, which makes sense because we live in an age of helicopter parents who have destroyed their children's chances at autonomy in the name of protecting them from the big bad scary world.

Natural is considered better, stronger, longer lasting. But I don’t know if the elite scientists consider natural immunity. They still push the V if you’ve had CV. Supposedly the V would reduce severity if you get it, however hospitals were/are full of Vd ppl.

I have natural immunity. I got a cold in 2020 and one month later I knew I had antibodies in a routinary blood test.
Since then I have been using masks only when required and never ffp2. I have been surrounded by colleagues with symptoms who only went off sick after testing positive for antigens. And I did not get delta or omicron.

    • @martypoll
      @martypoll 2 роки тому +6

First of all, Covid is not the flu or the common cold. Flu and common cold antibodies won’t protect from the effects of Covid. Second, if you were infected with Covid in 2020 then you will not be well protected against Delta or Omicron since these are later strains with significant changes to the Covid genome. Natural infection can provide a good immune response to that strain but if you are over 60 and/or have co-morbidities then you would be at a significantly higher at risk of severe disease.

@@cinderelladevil1687 OK, so at some time you were infected with Covid and you had an immune response. Whether you had a cold in 2020 is irrelevant. They are two completely different viruses and people shouldn’t get the impression that Covid, rhinovirus, or flu are at all the same or will produce cross protective immunity. You should know that as a doctor. The mRNA vaccines provided significant protection against hospitalization and death in double blind studies. The studies you as a doctor should be relying on. The vaccines have become less protective as the virus mutates not unlike what happens with the flu each year. Flu vaccines that I assume you administered, to the vulnerable, in your practice. Yes, respiratory infections are more dangerous to the sick and old and less so for the healthy. A natural infection will induce an immune response from the spike protein and many of the other proteins in a whole virus. The same can be said for the more traditional killed virus vaccines like SinoVac which have been administered in many countries and have been shown to be consistently less effective than the mRNA vaccines. The vaccines may not be what people hoped they would be but they are still safer for those over 60 and/or with comorbidities than the risks of catching any strain of Covid.

When you compare Sweden, Denmark, England approaches to American health provider there are substantial differences. In general, in Europe and English speaking Commonwealth medicine is publicly fund through public subscription for the public good, whereas American health care is run by for profit by corporations and not always for the public good.
Americans have the most expensive health care and some of the poorest outcomes.

In the US, people generally make more money than Europeans. Most of us can very well purchase good health insurance and be able to go to the doctor whenever we need to. Good luck being able to do that in Europe, and a single private doctor’s consultation costs us around 1/10 of our monthly wages. I’m both an American and European citizen.

@@LluviadeOrugas You are joking. How many Americans lose their homes to pay medical bills as insurance was not sufficient, renewed? You must be from European South to state average Americans earn more.
Moreover, Americans in ordinary jobs earn less but that money buys more, I will consede that.
Average Americans seem to two or three jobs to set food on the table and pay rent, why is that? That's not a prosperous society, is it?
How many of Americans families sleep in their car with their children? Americans veterans and u employed sleep on the streets whilst American warmongers in DC spend billions of tax payers money on arms to fuel wars in far away places, which are none of your business.
I much rather be poor in Northern Europe than any place in the world because those governments still sympathy for its people and their health and well-being. America is just a bunch of for profit corporate warmongers who don't give a hoot for the downtrodden.

@@elizabethtamp1537, of course I’m not joking, I meant exactly what I’ve said. And you’re right I’m from the South, from Spain to be specific, but you’re mistaken if you think we make that much less than the English for instance. And regarding life in the US, I can only speak about our lives here in the Northeast of the US, my husband is a regional truck driver who makes around $80K/year, and I’m currently a stay at home mom to two beautiful kids. Our home has been paid off for years even though we’re just in our forties and fifties which would be nearly impossible in Europe. We only own one car and are both pretty good with money and don’t over spend in unnecessary “things”. We pay around $1,300 every month for a good health insurance, and even though we travel back and forth to Spain throughout the year, and have total access to our “free” healthcare, there’s just no comparison. Also, medical tourism in Spain is a thing. English nationals buying or renting property in the South of Spain to have access to needed surgeries with less wait time than in their own country was very much a thing before the pandemic wreck havoc in our healthcare system. Also, it’s not uncommon throughout Europe for people to die while waiting for a surgery, or to just end up having to pay a private doctor out of pocket. Regarding the US once more, I’ve met plenty of “poor” people who get free medical insurance in the country. I used to have a friend from Honduras a few years ago whose whole family including her parents who’ve never worked a day in this country, had total free healthcare. Her elderly mother got her needed surgery and her father got his teeth fixed amongst other things done before they went back. In Spain, that’s happening as well though, lots of immigrants, legal and illegal, who’ve never really worked in the country, are enjoying the “free” healthcare which has been going down hill for as long as I can remember. And I’m with you 100%, the US like every other country should focus solely on their own people instead of spending money in useless and evil wars, or illegal immigrants.

Instead it is the same old vaccine push. Australia now demanding booster to be considered fully vaccinated.

It doesn't seem to matter your age or health status. Somehow having everyone vaccinated protects the high risk group who of course are also "fully" vaccinated. This is puzzling to me. The other thing that puzzles me is many people here contracted the virus early on prior to vaccine. They to are treated as if in the high risk group and require all the shots.

@drmoran Is there any data anywhere on how previous natural infection from delta can protect against omicron strain?

I have not seen any natural immunity studies specifically with Omicron.

@@MedicinewithDrMoran so how are people saying omicron protects against delta but not the other way around?

Thanks for the video. I am unvaccinated but have had previous infection. I did an antibody test and my results were positive at 38 u/ml. Is this considered high?

Thank you sir, could you please do a video on the Novavax vaccine and how it differs from the mRNA vaccine?

Lorraine, I did one many many months ago. It's in this playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLw9cU6balv3B80regVadZQbjUM6V98Ki8.html
I also did a separate video on how the vaccines work which should be in the playlist as well.

I had the original strain Dec. 2019 before anyone knew what it was... never got Delta and then got Omicron and it was very similar to the original strain symptoms for me.

No vaccine, haven't been sick in the last 15 years. I was running 15 miles a week on average, and ate well. Got covid a month ago along with pneumonia. Prescribed antibiotics, and recovered. Don't wear a masks, and would rather live like a lion than sheep! Live your life the way you want. BTW family got it and kids recovered in 2-3 days. Do what you want with this information. No fear here! We're all on borrowed time!

Us too. No masks this entire time, got harassed, excluded, bullied. No jabs. No testing. Lost our jobs, had to move and start over at age 50. Us and the kids had covid. Kids lasted a couple days, me about 2 weeks, husband a month. Never went to a doc. Husband scared me but said no doc. I supported his decision and had lost all trust in doctors and worried they'd kill him. We all are fine, living in a new state, new home, new jobs, new schools and with our freedoms. Good for you for staying strong against tyranny! Trust God, not man!

Blood borne antibody tests aren't fairly representative of natural vs vaccine immune comparisons - but they do tend to put vaccine induced immunity in a more favourable light especially as only spike antibodies are able to be used for statistical comparisons (vs nucleocapsid, envelope, membrane and non-structural proteins, etc..). Natural immunity uses an evolved mechanism of action, especially useful for respiratory pathogens, to produce more mucosal based immunity, derived from Peyer's Patches (and other lymphoid structures), which works better for respiratory pathogens. Blood borne IgG's however are useful once the pathogen has managed to bypass the mucosal barrier, which is more likely to have associated symptoms of infection.

My husband just had it. I may have had it, but I don't know. Had no fever, but slight allergy symptoms--post nasal drip and sore throat. Neither of us are vaccinated. I haven't been sick at all since Dec. 2019, which we think was food poisoning.

Given how hard it is to get it even find a place to test for antibodies that's a great question ❓

Its easy to get a test, at least in the US. search for Labcorp or QuestDirect if you want the test without a doctor's order.

    Dr. Moran
In my case I definitely had a very severe Covid-19 infection that lasted over 6 weeks, I was never treated or vaccinated. Now that it's been a few months since then, which antibody blood test should I get to prove I had it in 1st place???
This is VERY IMPORTANT due to having to prove I had it in order to get disability now that I have "Long Covid" and from what I've learned I may be experiencing these horrible symptoms for possibly a year or longer! I have major damage to my lungs, heart and obvios neurological issues, causing dizziness, balance issues, can't concentrate (refered to as Fog Brain) and much more...
PLEASE RESPOND ASAP to inform me of which blood test I need to prove what I've had and still have ASAP and is this a test available to do myself at home and if so where do I get it???
    Please and Thank You! 🤗

I wanted to clarify a statement made to make sure I am understanding properly. You mentioned the amount of antibodies from the naturally immune people has been determined to be a significant amount that were good for 5 yrs ish and obviously it depends on the health of the individual? Is this correct? If so this is better than vaccination immunity since it has been recommended people get boosters every 3-6 months depending on countries?
