Notes:
1 - The video had to be exported many times due to a lot of mistakes found and adjustments. Please, don't mind the spelling mistakes in the video. Even though we were two on checking out every mistake, some may have slipped out of our fingers.
2 - Sometimes, you'll see extra directions in some combos like "666B.B.B" or "86A+B", they have been written in order to help you get the right timing in ukemi traps or combos that require some delay or special timing.
3 - Even if it's mentioned in this video, bear in mind some okizeme situations and tech traps are character specific. Characters like Ivy can more easily back ukemi out of ukemi traps, or Taki can escape some moves. Astaroth gets caught in almost everything, more than it should but hey... Asta is a big boy.
4 - Since V2.10.01, Hilde's timing with SPR CA6 A+B has been simplified. You don't need to delay it after high launchers like FC CB. It makes her combo consistency better.

@@harmonyofsirius2397 The focus attack is most certainly a foreign mechanic to me. But I'm having more fun learning her than I did Astaroth.
@@Setha107 Astaroth works differently but I think Hilde's more interesting to work with! Efficient close range tools must be a change! Have fun!

Charging moves are quite a thing but it's not as terrible as it was in previous games.

Someone what is SWR? Special While Rising? How do you do get Sword Regalia without landing a hit???
You said it! SWR is Sword Regalia.
SWR is not obtainable without hitting unless you are in Soul Charge and press 214A.
How do you charge the sword or the spear from standing neutral?
In training mode, you press 4A+K or 6A+K to charge either.
In SC you have free access to it in normal games by doing 214A for Sword and 214B for Spear.
I am noob to fighting games. Can someone please explain the language of the controls from the video to me. e.i 3B SWR ca6 a+b etc

I'm sorry I don't understand which move you're referring to.
Sorry I'm a complete noob to fighting games, does anyone mind breaking down what like 4 a or -6b means?
Numbers indicate directions (4 is back, 6 is forward, it's the same a the num pad on a keyboard) and letters indicate the type of moves. You can see which input is what in the game settings.
If the opponent decides to not tech into your traps and lay there, what are her options?
If they roll, 6B+K is your friend. Safe if they block and leaves you positive with good damage. The better thing against Hilde is just to press G all the time and not tech...
Yup. This is indeed very close to being the ultimate combo guide. It might be the best combo guide all things considered.
However I think wall combos, situational as they may be, should be covered as well.

Thank you! To be honest, I was really lazy labbing wall combos. It would have taken ages and I want to share things that I know are optimal. And wall combos with Hilde have a LOT of character specific stuff and trying on most characters would be soooo long so I dropped that part.
And I also thought that, if someone is dedicated enough to Hilde, then they would definitely check her resources stuff on Discord. :D
@@harmonyofsirius2397 hmm well the discord part doesn't really concern this video. I personally don't feel like joining a character discord. In any case i can see how this level of detail would be enough to make wall combos an entire video but do you have a foolproof staple combo on walls you would recommend?
After the splat id go for 4KK resplat into 3B 6K 6B+K
@@real765rp8 I understand. I don't have any resources. I know 4B+K and 6BBA are good for re-wall splats but there's no spreadsheet about that. It's just an entire channel on Hilde Discord but nothing has been summed up there so far.
what does CA6 mean?
Charge A + 6
Hold the A button down for 2 seconds and release while holding 6 down as well. 6 stands for forward arrow. :)
