Pretty good zas combo video showed off some of his best stuff for sure. However he also has another unlisted soul charge attack that isn't really so much for combos (but you can link it) it's just a really good low high mid natural combo. 1ABB easily his best soul charge attack just for the mix up. Great alternative to his 6BB and 6AA BnB's for throwing off the opponent.
Soul Reaper Samuel L. Jackson (or even more fun considering the connections from Soul Calibur 4's guest characters, Mace Windu after miraculously surviving his fall from the tower and using the World Between Worlds or such similar nonsense [who knows? It's freaking Star Wars!] Travels back in time(or perhaps forward? Sideways? Is that... is that a thing? Can he DO that?) to our earth. He retains force powers which is what he's using as magic in the game, but the only thing I can't quite explain is how he got his hand back, but whatever. Minute details.) Has always been my jam since SoCali 3. His trickiness combined with his speed and power just made him too formidable of a foe for others once you learned him. His unblockables and chain combo throws and special chains just did such ridiculous damage, I ended fights in less than 10 seconds . He truly was a beast. I only wish his alter ego Abyss would have made an appearance along side him. He's different enough, like Siegfried is to Nightmare, 2 sides of the same coin, two versions of the same style.
1:40 I found that during Stun it grants auto-CounterHit properties to moves. Therefore, my go-to after 44[B] is 4B:B, BT [B+K] for 75 damage (tested post-Hwang release).
I just recently got the game and when I use him I find it hard to land attacks because the other players moves are faster does anyone have any tips to counter that
Zas kills from mid range, just outside most of the short weapons folks attack range. 44 A+B/4 B+K when they're rushing you down or near ring out. If not natural combo is either away facing B+K or K, BB. Also for most of his longer combos, you need to learn the curse mechanic REALLY WELL. Basically every time you land 6AA/6BB/6BK you should be hitting 6K IMMEDIATELY. B+K double curse thing should only be done SPARINGLY. Side step punishes are also super important. Also another good punish is his while rising B. Get used to ducking throws instead of teching them and hit them with the while rising B punish. Other than that practice, practice, practice. Zas really isn't the character for beginners. His curse mechanic and other unique qualities make him difficult if your just learning. Learning him doesn't translate to other characters well as his playstyle is so different than the rest of the cast. I would say learn on Maxi/Taki (if you just wanna be able to button mash to victory) or Sophitia/Mitsurugi (great all rounders) or Sigfreid/Nightmare (powerhouses) or Seong Mi Na/Kilik (pole weapons). Those, in my opinion are the best characters for beginners to learn on.
TanTriZ I just started with him and it’s similar to Ivy’s b,b,b,b,b JF from her Serpents Embrace stance. after 4b you have to press b again during the second hit. Best advised I can give is hit b once you see the second hit make contact. It’s tricky but after time spent in the lab you should get it down.

Great video. BTW... you can use RE as a combo filler, after LH 44A+B, then go for the 8A+B.
Nice Vid men! Thx!

You say 3 when you mean 2, and 6 when you mean 4.
The arrows don't lie
I just recently got the game and when I use him I find it hard to land attacks because the other players moves are faster does anyone have any tips to counter that
If they’re mashing, use your quickest moves. For Zasalamel, 2A, 6K and 46B are good moves for anti-spam
