A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Yeah, I saw an interview with former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld where he said that he and his wife met Elvis, and even she got a kiss and a scarf. Like you said, it was Elvis. The men didn't care if their wives/girlfriends wanted a King to kiss her lol.

I would not have had a problem if my wife had gone down the front to kiss Elvis Presley, because I know how thrilled she would have been. It would have been something she would never forget. Luckily, we’re both big fans of Elvis.

My Mom was passionately kissed by Elvis in 1956 after his concert. It was her very first kiss and she was 16.

@Bad Boys Boogie she was in shock and in love. 💕💕
She was a forever devoted fan. Elvis was big in our household. His music filled our home. My Mom saw him in concert a couple more times in the 70's. She crumpled to the floor in grief upon hearing of his passing.😢

@Bad Boys Boogie I can relate to that as my Mom passed away from cancer at the young age of 49. It took me some time to hear Elvis again.... especially his Christmas albums which are still difficult. My sister and I went to Graceland several years ago in honor of my mom who never made it over there. My sister and I choked up often during the tour knowing how my mother would have enjoyed and been moved by being there. Amazing the effect Elvis had on so many.

Yeah, totally normal. I was born only a year before this performance (1969), and I grew up watching "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" (which is where this video comes from), so it's more unusual to me that someone thinks that it's unusual for Elvis to be kissing all the women at the show lol.

Elvis was an original ALL THE WAY! He didn't immitate really anyone, nor did he necessarily do what others may have done...On the contrary, people immitated him ( still do ) and tried to be like Elvis. Elvis pretty much did his own thing and that's what everyone loved about him....And that's why he changed music back in the 1950s , and became the legend that he was THEN , and still is TODAY! When you lead instead of follow, that's when you truly do have the chance to be somebody very important. Elvis certainly was THAT! He IS and ALWAYS WILL BE the king of rock and roll.

My mom was the biggest Elvis fan. She dragged my grandpa to see this movie and to his concerts. My grandpa got in a lot of trouble at their church for taking my mom to see Elvis. My mom and her friends once found his pink Cadillac at a concert at the Sunken Garden Theater in San Antonio, TX and jumped on top of it trying to get the hood ornament as a souvenir. Lol. This was one of my mom's favorite songs of his. If you haven't seen the movie, it's his best. You should see it.

I don't believe it was strange at all because Elvis was a phenomenon he was loved since the 1950s and it when he made his 1968 Comeback Special intellivision he proved he still had the television ratings were high high that would give him confidence to go back on the road and start hearing again it from the fifties even sexier than from the 1950s after he then he started touring again all over the country people were glad to see him back because for 8 years he was busy doing movies was finished with the movie contracts he started back up again that Elvis phenomena people never forgot him from the 1950s of how wonderful he was
So he still had that magical charisma impact . sexiest his incredible voice combined with his looks was a true God given gift and he handled it very well and loved his fans right back that was a secret so know that you just touching the surface if you really want to know more about the man it's more than music it's a phenomenon go back and study the early interviews in black and white and King Creole and Jailhouse Rock will really wonderful movies

This was just Elvis greeting his fans.
His way of showing some love and giving back.
He didn't have too but his fans sure did appreciate it.
He had such a big heart.
And he showed his love to his fans in greeting them sometimes with free kisses.
What I don't understand is how none of these women fainted.
Cause I sure would have had he kissed me.
    I love Elvis so much.
I've been to His birth place house and on a full tour of Gracelnd and I loved the tour inside his home.
My favorite room was Elvis' jungle room.
    That was a so neat!
But everybody always said when it came to all of Elvis' fans.
All the women wanted him. And all the men wanted to be him.

I laughed so hard at your reaction that I’m sure my neighbors heard me. First of all, this isn’t anyone…this is Elvis Presley and he is loved. As the saying goes, “All women wanted to be with him and all men wanted to be him.” He is being totally harmless here…just showing his affection for the fans who made him. He never forgot who lifted him out of poverty and enabled him to have the success he acquired. You also have to remember that this is 1970. John Lennon hasn’t been murdered yet. In this particular performance he spontaneously jumped off the stage and I don’t think his body guards knew he was going to do that. Even so, it only took a moment before they caught up with him to make sure he made it through ok. And also this happened in Las Vegas and not at some big stadium when he was touring.

Elvis had so much charisma… The looks, the moves, the voice, the personality, the charity… He drew women to him like a magnet, he didn’t have to go to them. They lined up and ran to get to him. Back then every man knew what unbelievable attraction women had to him. And I’m sure the choice was given: I’m going to the Elvis concert and you can go if you want to... I’m gonna see Elvis! There will never be or has ever been anyone like him. You have to remember this was 50, 60 & 70 years ago. He was way ahead of his time!

Your face was an absolute picture. Not strange at all back in the day. He loved his fans but he didn't kiss anyone who didn't want to kiss him and boy, we all wanted a kiss from Elvis. Love your reaction though. Love from the UK.

We kissed Everyone and hugged everyone...
ON THE CHEEK not on the lips, but there was an exception for Elvis!

Are you kidding me? Every woman wanted to be kissed by Elvis and for the man that was bragging rights for sure. He was just undescribable. And the thing is who knows if he even wanted to do it? But he had such a good sense of humor and loved supporting his band and his audiences and he knew he had it and he just totally owned it.

This was a show in Vegas that was filmed. He didnt do this all the time, but nobody else ever did it. It wasnt a thing of the 70s. Elvis was a super nice guy and if the ladies wanted a kiss, well, then, hed give it to them.
You can see there is no ego involved in this, he was a humble sweet guy .

It also shows you how much society has changed just since 1970... nowadays, you have to have the stages elevated, a big barrier, and about 10 feet of space filled with security. I mean, this was Elvis, the King, and he could just casually cruise into the audience and shake hands and kiss the ladies. Like it was nothing. He was not afraid of being attacked or mobbed or stabbed or whatever. For example, try to imagine Beyonce (or whoever) doing that these days... there's no way. She probably has to have 5 heavily armed bodyguards just to go to the bathroom in a hotel. It was a different time, and people were respectful and courteous and had class. I remember those days well.....

It was Elvis ... and maybe in the back of your head you may have thought, "wtf" ... But - it was Elvis ... he had that power. .. the looks... that charisma ... and you understood if I had that voice, the looks, the presence.. I'd be kissing your girl too and it would be ok because you just gave that person a memory for life. It's not like he took her to the bus out back.

This is why he is called 'The King!' Nobody will ever come close, in singing, to be The King
Girls in the audience, with their husbands or boyfriends, were lining up to get a kiss from him.
    Extraordinary!
Great reaction, by the way...keep it going!

In the concert film that this clip is lifted from,, just before he pulls out the tiny guitar, he says, 'I've still got the 1st guitar I ever played', or something like that. Then he jokes, 'I was very small at the time!'

Kissing the audience wasn't a 70's thing. It was common for Elvis. Elvis knew his fans were crazy over him and yes, we were. I think he was just trying to give them what they wanted and YES, they wanted to be kissed by him. When he wiped his sweat on that girl's cloth, he was giving her a small fortune. Elvis' sweat was very valuable. Everything Elvis was worth a fortune.
