Same 'first few layers issue' here! Took me forever to identify the cause & fix it. Flipping the anti-backlash nut didn't do anything for me; there's another problem causing the same issue:

I watched your video on the Ender 3 S1 assembly. I really enjoy your other assembly and review videos. Fantastic. No BS, no fluff, just straight to up "solid." Thank-you.

Just got my Ender 5 S1 and same thing with that early layer... everything has printed perfectly otherwise. loving this printer so far. Coming from a pretty old highly modified ender 3 and honestly its nice to move into the modern era.

Great video and great instruction putting the unit together. Well I have received my Ender 5 S1 and printing the test prints and I didn't get this "phenomon" when printing. I only having issues at first slicing from Cura 5.1.2. So I did install the Creality Slicer and my prints are printing very well. But I am going to continue to play around with the Cura settings so that I can 3D print from Cura.

what I hate about creality is that they always overtighten some screws and the screw quality is really bad and soft compared to other brand, even smaller brand like kingroon, so just be careful

  • @biqquette

Im actually working in a factory on cnc machine, and the setting up, looks kinda familiar. Thx very much

i dont know, but meaby you could try to print a cube with 55ºC on the bed for the first layer, and 50ºC for the rest. Really good review and really like the footage
