the pickle will wield the bagel and slam all hunters back to their carts then eat the bagel while searching for the next treat. pickle is the king.

The number of times Bagel Goose has come out of nowhere an SAVED me is astounding. Body blocking Rathalos shots, tackling a pickle who has me pinned, slamming a Diablos and interrupting his charge. Bazel is a true bro.
For me, devilbro was the one saving me from bazel most of the time lol

Bazel killed me and interrupted my great sword combo
One time a Bazel was annoying me for entire hunt and i had enough of it. Brought him to a sandpit and introduced to the apex predator of that zone - Diablos. Obviously he wasn't happy getting beaten like that and soon left the map.
Bazelgeuse is a true friend. He helps me out on my hunts, gives me items that increase my stats and replaces the Elder's Recess theme with a much better one. Thank you for paying tribute to my dear Bazelgeuse.

Rotten Vale's theme is glorious, my buddy Bazzy knows this and generally stays away when I fight Odogaron and Radobaan. Such a bro.

Good ol Bagel. Part of what makes him notable imo is his introduction, there are no fancy cutscenes. I remember attempting to capture ku-lu yaku in wildspire waste when all of a sudden I notice a huge shadow passing over me. My initial reaction was "wtf is a plane doing in monster hunter?", I look up and I see the bastard, it displays his name and before I could say "Bazel-what?", he proceeds to bombing the shit out of the area. So far he's my favorite.
It upsets me that none of the hunters have tamed one and used it as a bomber.
Thats how it was for me. Thought it was the creature whose mystery tracks I was collecting. Turns out hes a really party crasher, literally raining on my parade dsy in day out

i first encountered it in the coral highlands, i saw this weird looking smoldering rock looking thing, after making sure it wasn't going to explode just from me walking by i hit it with my charge blade, sees it turn red and explode, i start panicking as this massive shadow flies over head and dozens of them rain down all around me, cue me running to the nearest cliff edge and jumping as bazel dive bombs behind me, me barely getting a look at him as his face is covered in explosions as i fall down to an area below, looking back up i hear it startling scream, needless to say i quite that expedition very quickly after...
I hate Bazelgeuse. HE FUCKS ME IN THE ASS EVERYTIME I HUNT LIKE AN EXPLOSIVE PUPPY THAT PLAYS TUG-O-WAR WITH THE NEWSPAPER THINKING HES HELPING.

Tommy-Ray Collyer nothin compared to the flashbacks of a little birdy screeching as a giant T-Rex pickle ate the shit out of you. MH3 flashbacks son, and now I enlisted only to find the flying bomb cousin.
Tbh.... Compared with the older games, Bazel is fine. Back in 4 Ultimate in early G-Rank quests there was a tendency for Apex Rajang to invade. Bagel is pretty easy, actually. Especially in comparison.
My first Bazelgeuse encounter wasn't in the middle of a hunt, but of an expedition. I began noticing new and weird footsteps in the Coral Highlands when searching for Pink Rathian tracks.
Then I found a disarmed scale and everything clicked; HIDE NOW.
After hiding, I found Bazel flying down to grab some water, introducing me to this explosive being. Instead of fighting it like a psycho, I went nature documenter and followed him to gain tracks on him.
I didn't get noticed once and it was honestly thrilling just sneaking around him. Like one wrong move, I'm burnt toast.
My first interruption was a fight with a Radobaan, and it went how you'd expect.
Me meeting Bazel for the first time was just magical.
All you hear is the roar...then the music...you stare up into the blue sky, only to see a figure...get closer, and closer..."what...is that?" Your veteran friend, now shaking with a look like he just saw a ghost..."no....not now...it can't be." Nergigante now stops and looks up as well, to see the figure get close. You hear it...the shrill of the music, as it gets closer you can make it out, you only just wanted to tag along with your friend in high rank...but not...this, oh god it's getting closer, "GET DOWN" your friend yells as the figure now crashes into the ground with explosions everywhere, what just happened you think, the dust settles. This was my very first interaction with Bazel...and lemme tell you...goddamn did I love this monster

This happen me but with the Deviljho in his 1st hunt. the Bazel decide to stroll in not one but 5 times in a row and territory fight the fucking Deviljho right there. Thou it was both annoying, funny and awesome at the same time.
Annoying because the Balze loved to just switch to me as soon as i aproach them , while the Deviljho just decide to target BOTH.
Funny because i get a lot of parts from both at the same time, and watch Bazel been grabbed and used like a rag doll by the Deviljho before get thrown away.
And Awesome because the Bazel has the balls to fight the Deviljho 5 times, and if you can hide quickly, you can watch those 2 fight an intense 1 on 1.

Bazel reminds me so much of how Deviljho was on MH3U. So much of a prick that he turned out to be one of my favorite monsters ever. Like Bazel is doing now.
Navarone957 Bazel is way worser prick than deviljho by far. At least Deviljho give warning he in the area. This monster just dive bomb you outta nowhere and try to ruin your investigation hunt which you can either die once only or only have a few mins to complete. He even follow you on the map ready to wreck your stuff up. Lol
Lazy King You get a warning. The very beginning of his theme is distinct enough that it warns you of the incoming air strike.
Dragon Warrior Deviljho used to do exactly that on 3u too. Randomly BURST outta the ground outta nowhere mid hunt!
Not putting Bazel down though. Bazel has almost ruined several of my hunts so far.
That's what I love about the two of them though. Deviljho just kinda lost that feeling on MH4U and MHGen. He just wasn't... the same. Idk. It's hard to explain.

Man, I love this theme. On my quest to capture every monster at least once (just in case they had special arena) He was the last one I had to do since I was going down the pecking order, and for nearly every hunt, he came in trying to ruin it and kill the monster before I could capture. With this theme and me chasing him from the very bottom of the raining forest all the way to the top, it felt like such an awesome climax to an adventure.
HOW IN THE LIVING HELL DID YOU MAKE THIS ALREADY AWESOME TRACK EVEN BETTER!? Seriously! If Bazelgeuse had this version of the theme in the actual game, I'd be fearing for my life! *Especially* if it was the Tempered variant... I still have nightmares. Never underestimate the fury of the B-52 Bomber...

My friend and I were doing his first High Rank quest, the one where Pukei is in Wildspire. We killed the Rathian there and our splodey boi shows up and carts my friend twice before I capture it. He then runs over to gloat and trips the last bomb scale and fails the quest.

Bazel is probably one of the most fucking epic Flying Wyverns in the series. He shows up randomly, no introductions, no cutscenes, and bombs the shit out of everything and everyone underneath it and crashes down sending explosions in every which way.
