Nice video, all workers wearing safety boots, nice and clean and tidy, brightly painted nice colours, looks very well organised, excellent. Good vid toooooooo thanks
Impressive! I spent part of 1979 and most of 1980 in the RoK and I have to say those folks are NOT afraid of hard work. No sir! Some of the hardest working, most industrious people on the planet.
Korea has worked hard and has accomplished a great deal from ships to bolts from cars to computers you hame it they do it . A proud nation and lovely people 🎉

So many people are always complaining about how robotic machines are taking our jobs. Could you just imagine the amount of human labor that would be required to mass produce this stuff? And the training needed so they're all the same in the end? This is what so many people fail to understand with machines doing the work we literally could not do on our own on such a large scale. Then, there's the prices of stuff, it would skyrocket. Things would be so much more expensive than they are now. I believe the people who cry about this stuff truly don't care and are just doing so because their lives are pathetic and they think everyone lives a pathetic life
What they were making was A325 snap off bolts with the oops of a square head nut segment. Mainly used in structural steel buildings. A gun with an inner and outer socket. Inner socket grabs the spline at the end of the bolt and the outer socket grabs the nut. It reverse torques while tightening the nut and the spline snaps off indicating proper torque. An inspector takes X amount of bolts from each batch and verifies torque on a skidmore.
this video is really impressive! the way you show the mass production process of hex bolts and nuts is super informative. however, i can't help but wonder about the environmental impact of such large-scale manufacturing in places like South Korea. shouldn't there be more focus on sustainable practices in these factories? it seems like a crucial conversation to have.
Had a temp job at St Louis Bolt in Illinois in 2011 just across the river from St Louis and I was surprised that those big bolts are basically stamped out of big wire. I worked on the shipping side so I didn't actually see how the process worked. Very interesting to see how it's done!
Drat, company didn't allow you on that ( union) side? Did a lot of industrial temping way back in the 80's, mostly complete shitholes but have always been fascinated by manufacturing processes. Some good footage of a decent operation here yet a few things were left out.
great video showcasing the steel mill in south korea! it's fascinating to see the mass production process of hex bolts and nuts. however, i do think there’s a bit of over-reliance on automation in factories like this. doesn't it take away some job opportunities for skilled workers? just a thought!
Sorry to say - I clicked on "Skip" the ad because I'm so tired and couldn't wait to get to sleep! I'll make it up to you by watching two ads in a row next time!
Wow, this video is really impressive! The process of mass-producing hex bolts and nuts is fascinating. But honestly, I wonder if focusing so heavily on automation in factories might eventually lead to job losses for skilled workers who have done this work for years. What do you all think?
"Sim, este é o processo para fabricar porcas e parafusos, a diferença está em ter mais ou menos automação e pelo visto esta grande fábrica faz todos os processos, Não sei na atualidade, mas, fazíamos tudo isso em centenas de fábricas grandes, pequenas e fundecos."

Very interesting to watch, but needs WAY more text explanations for the various processes.
Yes, they completely glossed over how the threads were made.
The maufacturing process is cool!
Fascinating!!!!!! I miss Korea. Osan in 1985.
Wow Amazing This is Best video by Mechanis1

Interessant at se. Var selv på en skruefabrik i Danmark fra maj 2006 til februar 2011, der desværre lukkede.
wow 대한민국 최초의 볼트, 너무 생산공장이라니 대단하네요!
a lot cleaner than I imagined
It was really attractive and great♥️🙏

I didn't see any A325 embossing or 2H nuts. Never heard of the snap off feature.

TC bolts have been around since the late 80’s
Amazing factory
😉👍
Have not seen square nuts in years. Still have a box of 3/16" stove bolts ( round heads ) that came with square nuts back in the 1960'S.
they are being used to fasten the tracks from caterpillar machines💪🏻
In order to see the square nut, one must become the square nut. 🙏
Good product 👍☕🚬

#1. This is NOT a steel mill. It is bolt manufacture. The steel mill makes the coils of wire you see being delivered.

Muito interessante parabéns 👏👏👏
🙇♂️❤️
At 13.04 the nuts are square with rounded corners and a 20 second fork lift journey to 13.24 magically turns them into six sided nuts.
It's a nut that's different. The editing is different
Looked like soft bolts, I find that harden bolts are like a brass content and not black, I don't like round headed bolts, except used in machinery. 😊

At 14:58 those are NOT hex nuts. Those are called square nuts.
The temperature of those nuts was way more than 1200 deg. More like 1600.
