I have bought the zyber power bank about a month ago . Just played 2 plus hours on Asgards wrath 2 and the quest 3 still has full power. It is very comfortable when it is on. Very happy purchase. 😁
Great professional grade video, that battery bank looks really promising, and the hot swap function especially looks clever and well done. Zyber obviously know what serious VR gamers need and want.
The the binbok battery elite strap with two swappable battery’s that are 15w output. It Can keep the quest at 100% through both battery’s. Each battery is about 3 hours. So you can get about 8-10 straight
Ah-ha, yes. I did a course in my Elec Eng degree with design for manufacture as one of the modules. With plastics in particular, that likely adds strength and rigidity! Good point. Cheers for pointing this out.
Know this for a fact? I think it's actually for plastic rigidity. But didn't when I recorded. Typically, I recommend you remove by twisting the rear arm (torsion) for least force removal.
What's an immersive performance? Can you give an example? I use this for full motion standing VR for 5-6h play sessions so if anything like that then yes. I normally use it because I can't stand the battery running out after what feels like 1.5h. I find it comfortable and forget it's there completely. Their head strap goes really well, too, with the perfect cable tie and the bend capability.
@@selenlun159 Either seated or standing, as a skinny lad, I found the neck battery bank to be a lovely (and comfortable) way to enjoy VR longer. My collar bone protrudes quite a bit and it doesn't get knocked or become uncomfortable (at all). It's a little pricy but in my opinion, the best engineered solution to this problem the Quest 3 very much has (short battery life). I used to be a battery bank with long cable down the back guy - but this (aside from looking a little funny on camera for me), is my go-to solution now. Wife wants one for her Q3, too. My neck is sensitive to weight up top so it's great that it keeps weight down, too. **ALSO** I only just realized you were asking for a Quest 2, so I tested this for a few minutes just now for you. It's a good solution for Q2 also, given the direction (horizonal) of the USB-C port on Quest 2 (as contrasted with Quest 1)! Only thing is the short cable that comes with the neck battery bank does stick out a little to the left side (with no cable tie). That's nothing a rubber band or hair tie wouldn't keep in place. But honestly, it doesn't stick out more than 2-3 inches. I'm just an active fellow in VR, so don't want a rogue arm swipe to yank it; which is why I mention it at all. Seeing as you're looking at Quest 2 - this negates my prior recommendation for the Quest 3 Zyber Elite Strap for your use case; ignore that, so. Hope that helps you. Enjoy those amazing performances out there!
Different tools for different situations. I've been using a battery pack in my back pocket all this while. Anything to keep it off my head. But this is neat! Particularly for me as a shorts in the summer guy, so I can stop dropping my shorts in front of the neighbours just to get an extra hour out of Quest. (Might still keep dropping the tbh, just for fun.)

Great to hear! I can't do my long form streams without it.
Looks kinda weird but damn it does the job well. Thanks for telling me.
i think the arms stick out past the front of the headset to make it easier to grip the strap for removal if you want to change it later.

Seeing you guys at the park felt closer to what the Laser Tag commercials were selling us in the 80's
It's really great as long as the local park bulldog doesn't get any bright ideas.
Great review bro. Information users really need.
Imagining the neck power bank being used as a headstrap made me chuckle.
And now you made me chortle at your chuckle.
Both accessories look interesting.
Headstrap wins out for value proposition. But I'll keep using both.

Yea but many people have an annoying buzzing sound from the battery..
A fun way to enjoy Alexandra Park! Cool😋
You got it!
On their promotional images they advertise that overhang on the buckle. So, I guess it is for added strength.

The over hang is there to make it easy to remove the headstrap from the Quest 3

@@Zimtok5 yes it's a fact, in their website they actually said so, "extended side buckle for easy to remove" with illustration
@@juryfilanti Okay thanks! Glad to be better informed, I appreciate the share.
@@Zimtok5I would imagine they don’t want you twisting it to remove it in the usual way right near the part where it bends
Great video! Thanks a lot

Oh great! Yes,the immersive performance is a 'theatre act' or a live concert🤟

That strap is all over Aliexpress for £10-£15 plus vat
Would you recommend the neck battery when doing MR captures in the wild?
Yes, worked great for me!
A normal cheap 22,5w powerbank with a cabel works just fine.

Does it suffer the buzzing issue that other batteries suffer from?
Never heard a buzz.
Why use the head camera when you have the Meta RayBans??
Doesn't distort. Records long (not 1 min chunks). Love my hat cam.
Zim a girly hands manly man ;)
Are you saying I've never done a day of hard labour in my life and hands show it? XD
Desk jobs ftw.
No cussion on the back head... hm....
Same design as the Meta Elite. It's comfortable for me. (I've had about 3 or 4 no rear cushion designs).
